Vinay leaves. Purnendu's health worsens. Aastha has to get money for his angioplasty. Aastha assures Rukmini that she will take care of them and will take Vinay's place as the family's support but Rukmini disagrees. Aastha gives the mangalsutra back to Rukmini who then finds out that Aastha sold her pendant and Scooty for this. Vinay locks himself in a room. Aastha tries to arrange for money. Mr Mehta tries to bribe her but she tells him her loyalties would always be with Ranawat group. Vanraj appears from behind and we realise all this was arranged because Vanraj was testing her integrity.

Amarnath is hurt to know that no one informed him about Om Shankar's and family's stay in Mumbai. Rishabh tells Amarnath about Trisha's serious medical condition and suggests that he should come to see her in the hospital but Uttara convinces Amarnath not to go. Om Shankar pays a surprise visit to Amar-nath's house to reconcile with them but Amarnath and Uttara's bitter allegations makes him affirm that their deep-rooted hatred for Kakul is difficult to eradicate. Tulika makes Sharad meet Neha but she sticks to her resolution and tells Sharad what Uttara had told her. Sharad fires Uttara and declares that he's leaving the house.
