A little birdie told us that our Aastha Joshi, the lead of Dhoom Macha De, is finding it dif- ficult to romance her hero Sidharth Shukla aka Shubh Ranawat. Reason: He's too tall for her. The difference in inches is so noticeable that their love scenes are turning into comedy. When quizzed Joshi laughs, "It is true that whenever we are shoot- ing together I need to wear 4-5 inch heels so we are better matched. The other day there was a scene in the temple during which Sidharth confesses his feelings for me. Since we were in a mandir I couldn't wear my sandals. I had to look deep into his eyes but because I'm so short I ended up staring at his chest." While casting for the main lead the producers were looking for someone who matched Aastha's height. She auditioned with sever- al actors including Aamir Ali. "But they were all too tall for me. Till the end, I had no clue with whom I would be paired," she says. The irony was that she ended up romancing someone who was even taller and has to now look up to Shukla all through the show.
