She was wrong to change the plays ending but I can't condone Nikumbh's outrage. If he wanted to keep it strictly professional he shouldn't have tried to play with her mind to become a real Shakuntla. That's what she thinks that she is now and can make Shakuntla's decisions.

I think the problem is that she does not realize the significance of what she did. In my opinion its not about the play .. Its about trust for nikumb. If it was strictly professional, the reaction is not proprtional to the action. I thinks its personal for him .. He thinks she used him.
