My favourite part was lunch. The four of them sitting around the table enjoying their lunch. As if they were on a double date. Azim and Shaheen behaved as if they have been together longer and helping the newer couple by participating in the double date. More mature couples (in the dating sense) will do this to help take away the awkwardness of new couples. I found the set up adorable.

The content of the conversation has been discussed by everyone...which was amazing.

Lovely point...yes I also loved the way the lunch bit was set up around the table...lovely slice of life feel to it...

Great post, as always! Your "Things I Liked" posts are one of the few things looking forward to in a forum that seems to be slowly (read rapidly) slipping towards nothingness. 🤔

Sharma. Yes. 😆

First of all, I missed Neelesh misra's narration as much as you did. The framing device, his narration, will always be the USP of this show. The dream-like narration, full of poetic beauty, makes this show very different and refreshing.

As always, Nikumbh ka apne upar bharosa dekhna, makes for happy viewing. He has tremendous faith in himself and in his perception of things and people around him, without it being rock-solid firm, such that it is subject to change. It helps that he is into theater, because that is ONE profession that involves working WITH people, knowing them. Nikumbh has that vision. Yes, he made a mistake with Yamini, because then it was a question of a clash between ideologies, but now that he has a little better understanding of Yamini and her ideologies, he will obviously see through any facade she puts up. And Yamini is no fool. She understands that he knows. What makes it interesting is that she is afraid that he is holding this against her. That she has failed him. But in this case, Nikumbh can see, but he does not judge. His determination to make her say the truth is driven from his own discomfort at not hearing the truth, and not because he is disappointed with her for having failed the task. The kind of person he is, anything farzi discomforts him.

About his pricking at her conscience...hah, well, he is smart. He knows that if there is anything worse than not confessing what you must confess, it is in knowing that the other person knows exactly that and will not let you rest until you come clean with it. 😆

Azam's T-shirts! I love them. There isn't actually anything about Azam that I do not like. 😆 His T-shirts are always funky, funny, casual and so like his personality. I agree about the costumes. I like Shaheen's costumes too. They fit her character so well.

Thanks yaar! The forum sadly won't likely wake up until there are more OBVIOUS "romantic/chemistry" scenes b/w NY😆...the narration style of this show is too subtle indeed...almost indulgent sometimes😆

LOVE how you put this bit in bold👏👏...Bang on...I also love that the background of theater as a profession puts such a convincing basis for their interactions...like you said, it's the kind of profession that REQUIRES people to let go of their inhibitions and reservations and CONNECT😆

And yes Yamini knows that he knows...but she is hesitant to verbalize it and admit the obvious😆...and Nikumb for his part doesn't judge her in so much as remain EXASPERATED with her lack of courage...like you said, he doesn't like FARZI things...there is just a lot of natural subtlety in how their interactions are woven together.

Another thing I loved was nikubh's dialogue to her that you have to work much harder to fail and you haven't worked that hard yet. Loved loved that line. I will have to remember that when one my kids is too hard on themselves for a small life's disappointment. In life you have to fail a lot before any success...super line.
Sorry that was today...will copy and paste.
