So we all know that Mahabharat originally did not have as many shlokas as it has today. So what do you think was added later or are interpolations?

Now it's not necessary all events with a divine twist are interpolations. But they maybe just interpreted in a different way. But something you clearly find a later interpolation, for instance,

Draupadi's Sutaputra comment

The cheerharan event.

I feel that it's interesting to note the Gods mentioned. The Gods who are said to have fathered the Pandavas, ie Dharma (Yama), Vayu, Indra, Ashwini Kumars are all ancient early Vedic age Gods.

The Trinity ie Brahma Vishnu Maheshwar came in much later in the late Vedic age. So are all incidents involving Shiva or Brahma later additions?

1) krishnaa s polyandrous marriage. She was only yudhishtra s wife

2) upandavas being krishna s kids .

3) the entire subdhara homecoming event which i think is interpreted entirely different from how it actually was

4) krishnaa lamenting about arjuna during exile

These certainly are. I will add more later

1 and 2 are connected - are you sure of this btw? Apart from the Dyut Sabha incident, is there anything else that proves towards it?

Interpolation are those which is mentioned in the epic but was not part of original but added on later or was mistranslated/exaggerated.

^^

Everything except the war could be interpolation actually since we don't have any historical proof.

The war is recorded in history.

The above posts are interesting though, especially your theory of Draupadi being only Yudhisthir's wife. Looking forward to see your reasons.😊
