I also wonder, what makes a person choose between animated and non-animated? 😳

In the beginning, I didn't even know how to animate sigs so I just stuck with non-animated ones.. then I finally figured out, through Imageready, how to animate fonts to change different colours.. then tried to glitter them.. and so on... but I still prefer non-animated much more because I'm more comfortable with them. Animating takes more time and I'm not too good with it either 😳 In fact, I just recently figured out how to put actual brush sparkles in fonts!! It took me forever to find out how.... i had been using "noise" before then. And i also think I can make better sigs if they're non-animated.

Abt people asking what you use in a certain siggy, even if I was going to tell them, I wouldn't have a clue 😆 Like Momo, I also have a gazillion layers most of the time in my sigs.. depending on what kind of pics they are, etc.. so I can't explain what I've done... like I said before, it comes mainly through experimenting only.. not having a set style in my mind. Now, if people need help with blending and such, then I can help, but with specific sigs and how to make them, not really..

ooh yeahh..there wuz a time when tonza poeple had the same style as neema..and now that same style as transformed into their OWN style

Serenity: that is true..u can do things with anisigs that u cant with non-ani....bcoz ive seen your animations..dude , they rock..! 😃

😆 I can recall the time when evryone was crazy bout doing animations!...I had started with ani sigs but i stopped making ani one after 13-15 sigs cuz i didnt really like what i did with them

me i jus like animated siggies but since one-two months dont know am loving non ani ones n i can say that they look really gorgeous before animating them , so each sig which looks awesome as non ani , i save it n after animating it , i save the animated one also so zat i hav both n i can compare 😛 😛

lol i would never write this stuff down...cuz normally i have no idea of wht i'm doing...i just open a blank canvas and have my pics open....and then i stare at it for a while...then if something sparks my imagination i start moving things around and so on....but my siggys never have that many layers loll it's always like 5-10 depending on whether it's animated or not...

Lolz even I was serenity 😆 But I read 'Credit to xxx' so often that I had to check who those sig makers are and the result shocked me.

well the style contest sounds cool..
& the non-ani, ani sigg debate;
well in ani you can:
-add glitter
-add sparkles, add moving pictures & stuff
& in non-ani you can:
-add more textures
-add masks/grunge borders

& Khushi di..i have seen one MAJOR copy style, she took the idea from a very popular sig maker & took all the styles, borders, & brushes..i was amazed to see how much they look alike!..i saw one user using both of their siggs & it looked like they were both made by the same person..would you like me to pm you their names?

ummmm, about animation and non-ani, i can do animated but i guess i'm impatient with the different slides and with ImageReady its a bit annoying. 😃 And I dont work well with glitter and so everything looks clumpy and weird I think to work with animation you got to put it in the right places, which i really cannot do. I think if you know how to do it, its really pretty, examples are Seeta di's and Khushi's sigs. 😊 Thats why i prefer non-animated, i really dont have to work with different slides thats all 😛

^ i agree..i prefer non-animated WAYY over animated, because usually when you animate them, they get a weird looking blur, from the optimization which makes it look funny

@momo-true..even i cant get sparkles in the right spot!..it gives me a major headache & when i do look at it, it looks like half of them disappeared..so i just make non-ani or i i do make ani i make them only with glitter border/text..
