I just started learning Photoshop...

I edited this first picture in PS - http://i.imgur.com/kPoJA.gif

Learnt
- adjustments: Brightness & Contrast, Hue & Saturation
- to use textures & erase the excess through layer masks
- use custom brushes

Question:

Now I want to merge these pictures seamlessly. Each picture is in a different layer.. Which tool can be used to blend them together in Photoshop?

Smudge, Blur or Blending through layer masks?

Any help is much appreciated and then I'll try to figure it out.. Thanks in advance.

@Cassie- click on one layer, then go to LAYERS -> LAYER MASK -> REVEAL ALL

do this for ALL layers one by one that u want to merge

then CLICK on the ERASER tool and click on the LAYER MASK of the image u want to first blend..(make sure the colour of the erasers at the color swatch near the bottom is white to black or black to white..) i forget the order..but see wtever works for u! make sure u have a soft brush selected at the top for blending! all the best :)

garima22When you dither something, it means you're increasing its quality, but when you increase the dithering amount, the Avi is going to be pixelated. The less the dithering setting, the less pixelated it'll be and it won't look so good. So you'll have to play around with other settings too.

So what You've got to do is use Patter instead of No Dither!
