Well, you duplicate the text layer first, and choose the second text layer which is below the original one. Basically the original text layer should be on top of the one you're about to blur.

Then, go onto:

Filter >> Blur >> Motion Blur, and you're done :D

During this, they might ask you to 'simplify' the text layer, just click on yes for that :D

How to make a stacked animation using gimp?
I would like to ask if someone know how to put two animation into one gif..
Like this one:

I'm using gimp, so I will be happy if someone knew now to do it in gimp and I will be happy if someone told me this in details (as a tutorial).. I know how to make an animation in gimp, but I cannot put them besides each other. I just want help for putting two animations in one new picture. (Hope you can understand why I'm trying to ask you all about).

When I tried to open the animations as a layer and then copy them to the main picture I can't move the avi's as I wante. Please send me a PM
