Everyone tries to convince Shankar to stay back but he is adamant. Shaguna tries to dissuade him but to no avail. She also decides to leave with him. Urmila understands how Shankar feels but Sid thinks otherwise. Likewise, Sakshi sympathizes with Shankar but Yash says that he should have stayed with Simran. Shaguna informs Simran that she will go with Shanker. When they leave, Simran gives Shaguna a packet of clothes and money and a cell phone so that she can keep in touch.

Simran broods over Shaguna's departure and tells Abhi that it will affect her a great deal. Shaguna also misses her and Shankar asks her to go back since she has not been used to living in such a simple home since the last 20 years. Saurabh finds out that Shaguna has left and he also feels terrible about her having gone away. Yash and Sid go out for a drink. While Sid goes out to attend to Aastha's call, the barman gets into a conversation with Yash and Sid overhears Yash telling him that Sid has had a great time with both of Dr. Simran's daughters. This enrages Sid and he slaps Yash hard and sends him reeling.

Sid leaves the place in disgust and goes home. Yash goes back to the guesthouse and Sakshi finds him drunk. She takes him to his room and puts him in bed. Yash goes on muttering saying he was not wrong and how could he slap him. Sakshi hears this but keeps quiet. Sid tells Astha about the incident and she is very angry. They decide to tell Simran about it. Simran calls Shaguna and speaks to her over the phone. Yash tells Sakshi about the goof-up and she asks him to apologize to Sid as soon as possible. Sid makes up his mind to tell Simran about it. Yash changes his mind about apologizing but Kiran tells him to do it. Just as he is going to Sid's room, Sid goes to Simran's room and Simran comes out of her room. Yash stops short.

Simran leaves for the police station with Yash and Sid doesn't get a chance to tell her about the incident. At the police station the inspector reveals that it was not the Minister who had leaked the news of the molestation at night. Simran and Yash wonder who it could be. Yash tries to avoid letting Simran talk with Sid about the incident. Yash goes home to drop her and meets Aastha there. He apologizes to her for the previous night, but she is unaffected. Yash meets Sid and apologizes to him too and asks him not to tell Simran about it. Sid and Aastha decide to postpone telling Simran about Yash since it will add to her misery. Kiran tells Yash that she was the one who had told the police about the attack on the maid that night. Yash is shocked.

Abhi is lagging behind in his work and Simran overhears his conversation with Bhavani regarding the same. She asks Abhi to step up. The new maid, Pushpa, is not up to the mark and leaves most of the work undone. Shanker asks Shaguna to go back if she feels like. Sakshi receives a phone call from Nakul asking her to sign the divorce papers at the earliest and she finally does it. Abhi is spending all his time in learning Braille, without letting Simran know about it, since he wants to help her out. However, Simran finds out that he has been studying Braille and hence not able to keep up with his work. She is touched.

Simran tells Abhi that she will learn Braille from him and he starts teaching her. Yash comforts Sakshi about her broken relationship. Aastha slips and falls in the bathroom and has a fractured elbow because Pushpa has left the floor slippery. Abhi fusses over her in the hospital and Yash looks on feeling jealous. Shaguna hears about the fracture and comes back saying she was just looking for an excuse to come back to the house. She ousts Pushpa. Simran is in her cabin with Yash when Anil Shourie comes to see her and Yash is unable to slip away.
