You know i agree completely . Every time they don't show a dead body , i am 100% sure they will bring back the character . Or when they show the face is so mutilated that no one can identify except through some ring or necklace .

I am very certain this character will come back with surgery .It happened in Kusum with Mahi , then Kusum herself .
Then Piya ka ghar . Kyunki sass bhi bahu , and some other serials i can't remember just now !!

I hate to be a spoilsport, guys.

Remember, she was at "ground zero" when the bomb went off. So, considering the devastation caused to the survivors, what do you think happened to her? They'll be picking pieces of Astha.

vvrsun, any logical person will feel the same way as you do............but, when has logic ever been used in our tv serials!! I doubt if any TV serial or movies will hold up top a logic scrutiny. ALAS!!!

I will have to agree with the others.....the fact they cannot find a body is an opening that the director has kep to have an option to bring back the character....he may or may not..that's his choice...if he really had to kill the character we would have seen the body.

Given all that tragedies that have happened in the life of Abhi and Simran...it simply will be very cruel to kill their daughter at a point where she was turning a nw leaf. I think they deserve happiness and they will get it eventually!!

I geddit now! Yuvika is out, so the only way to bring Astha back is with a new face. So she gets extensive plastic surgery and comes back and is inconsolable to learn that her mama is blind!

Sorry to sound like a bubble burst, and I know this is a serial, but you know what, she was HOLDING the actual bag that had the bomb....her body must've shattered into a million pieces. There is no way she is still alive since she was the one holding the bag. Besides, Ajay Sinha did say in his statement about Yuvika being out of the show that he did not intend to bring another person to replace her and play Aastha so he just killed the character off. But personally, I think that it's a lousy way to kill off a character like that, especially when she just got back to her family and was starting to enjoy it again.....right when they forgave her and she came back home. That is a big mistake...they should've given her cancer or something so she could die slowly but not in this way by using a terrorist attack.

Yes, I agree with you, I think the director is playing it safe in case he wanted Astha back.. with a new face or not.. 😉
You can't tell whether he would be ending the serial within few months or one year, coz he simply might change his mind! 😉

It will be nice to bring Astha back - her character brought a lot tension and realistic drama to the serial whereas Sia's character has become a total cry baby (very different from her London girl days) and is quite unbearable on screen. Yuvika is very very talented and should continue doing part time work on this serial to keep her acting up to date.

Astha is gone for good and forever. Now Simran, abhi, sia and sid can live happily after a short term sid & sia will get marry and they will have a baby girl and they hope to see her as becoming doctor. Everyone in their home lives happy everafter. Astha hospital is taken care by that new doctor. I cant think of any other story line 😉
