Arjun entered the ETF office on his regular time and as soon as he crossed the conference hall was surprised to find no one had reached yet,including Rathore.

Taking a glance at his wrist watch he glanced around ,but paused hearing some commotion from the adjacent room which was not usual.

Following the source of the sound,the moment he entered the room found all emerged in some preparations.

"ye kya ho raha hai yahan.?

He asked,causing all eyes to turn to him.

"arey Arjun ,good morning.achha hua tum bhi aagaye.hum bas puja ki preparation kar rahe hain tum chaho toh madad kar sakte ho.

Sakshi smiled.

Arjun eyed the ganesh idol placed over a desk,then turned to leave,only to be stopped by sakshi's voice.

"arey mai mazaq kar rahi thi,wapas ajao. Humara kaam khatam ho gaya hai,ab hum bas puja shuru karne wale hain.

"mera yahan koi kaam nahi hai sakshi.

He replied curtly,making sakshi frown.

"achha janti hun ki tum in sab me believe ni karte per atleast hamare sath khade toh ho sakte ho na.?

She looked hopefully at him.

"haan sir please.aap puja mat kijiye per yahan rahenge toh hame achha lagega.

Shree added.

Just then Ayesha thought something and spoke up quickly.

"haan sir.hum sab ek team hai,aur aap team ki ek important hissa hain.hame achha lagega agar aap yahan rukenge toh. Kyun Riya.?

Riya,who was arranging flowers now looked up to Ayesha then shifted her focus to Arjun ,but before she could speak Arjun interrupted her.

"rathore kahan hai.?

"vo Rathore sir subah se commissionarate office gaye the,abhi tak sayad laute nahi.

Riya answered this time.

"per tujhe kaise pata sir commissionarate office gaye hain.?

Chhotu asked her.

"err. Sir subah mujhe train kar rahe the toh tabhi call aya tha commissioner sir ka.aur sir phir chale gaye unke office.

"oh.koi nahi,hum Rathore sir ka wait kar lete hain.

Liza spoke up among them,en the rest nodded their heads (except Arjun...that man hardly reacts )

"arey lo hamari baat bhi khatam ni hui aur Rathore sir aagye.

Chhotu said eyeing Rathore behind arjun,who came walking to them.

"sir aap hamari wajah se 100 saal jiyenge.

Shree grinned.

"kya.?

Rathore raised his brow,causing Shree's smile to vanish within seconds.

"uh..kuch nahi kuch nahi sir.

He mumbled shaking his head,while his friends suppressed their laughs.

"anyways.tum sab yahan kya kar rahe ho.?

Rathore questioned his team.

"vo sir hum Ganesh puja karne wale hain,bas aapka hi wait kar rahe the.

Came Ayesha's reply.

"ye Rathore sir se baat karna shuru karte hi Ayesha ki voice kitni soft ho jaati hai na.

Chhotu murmured near Shree's ear.

tu Ayesha ki baat kar raha hai? Rathore sir ka toh voice,feature sab kuch soft hojata hai Ayesha se baat karte time.

Shree whispered back.

"i totally ship SASHA.

Liza mumbled dreamily beside them,hence shree ,chhotu both whipped their heads to her.

"hein.kya.?

Chhotu looked puzzled.

"arey SASHA.Sameer + Ayesha = sasha.

Liza explained.

Both shree & chhotu gave her a strange look then rolled their eyes muttering a word under their breathe.

"Girls.

"oh ok.puja shuru karo phir.

Rathore spoke taking off his shoes and walked inside the room meanwhile Sakshi started the puja.

Arjun didn't enter the room en for a change didn't leave the place either ,for which all seemed happy .

Once the puja finished one after another all started taking the arati from the plate kept near the ganesh idol ,when Riya glanced at her back to Arjun,who was still standing there and took the Prasad plate up, to approach him.

"arey Riya mujhe do,mai de deti hun Prasad.

Sadu na hi bolega ,per uski na ko haan karna mujhe aata hai.

Sakshi grinned blocking her way.

Riya gave her a small smile and passed the plate to her ,whereas Shree,Ayesha were mute spectator of the scene.

Sakshi took the plate from her and went to Arjun ,forwarding the Prasad to him.

"jinhone puja kiya unme baant do ye.

He chirped straight.

"aur jo puja ke waqt yahan khada raha unke liye.?

Came Sakshi's quick retort.

"jo puja me believe ni karta vo Prasad me bhi ni karta.

"pata hai.per agar tum sabke liye yahan khade ho sakte ho toh sabke liye Prasad bhi le hi sakti ho na.?

Sakshi played with her brows.

"ye toh Arjun sir ko manake chhodegi.

Liza chuckled.

Shree sighed stealing a glance at riya who had her eyes on Arjun & Sakshi .then nudged Chhotu silently telling him to distract her mind.

Chhotu understood his intention and stood beside Riya quickly making up a topic in his mind.

Riya lowered her eyes as Arjun took the Prasad from Sakshi's hand ,just when chhotu spoke up from her beside.

"Arey Riya tujhe yaad hai? Pichle saal hum kaise Ganesh utsav mee sath the? Aur Mumbai ke bhid me ek anokhi murti dhund ke nikala tha.?

Riya diverted her attention to chhotu,nodding her head.

"haan mujhe yaad hai.sach me laga ni tha ki iss saal mai tum logon ke sath puja kar paaungi.

She mumbled thoughtfully.

"per dekh iss saal bhi hum sath hi hai.Bappa jo karte hain na ache ke liye karte hain.chhotu gave her a side hug.

"haan uss baat ko toh ek saal hogaya,per abhi tak chhotu apni 11.30 wali ka naam pata ni kar paya.

Shree teased him accompanying them.

"oye aesi baat ni hai .vo toh maine kabhi seriously ni liya,nit oh 10 min lagega mujhe uska naam pata karne me.

"achha.?

Both shree & Riya chorused in union.

"uh..haan.ye toh bahut simple kaam hai mere liye.

"achha chhotu ,seriously ni liya hai per jab bhi mauka mila usse dekhne jarur chala jaata hai.

Shree smirked.

"haan chhotu shree sahi keh raha hai.ek naam hi toh janna hai ,jaake directly usse puch lo na.

Riya giggled.

"nahi baba nahi.maine usse ek baar dekha tha ek ladke ki pitai karte hue,kya pata mera bhi wohi haal kare? Vo dur se hi thik hai.

Chhotu gulped ,and Shree ,riya shared a look at each other before laughing out.

"kya baat hai guys tum log itne has kyun rahe ho.?

Sakshi interrupted them giving each of them the Prasad.

Shree opened his mouth to reply,but was interrupted by Rathore.

"team conference hall me chalo,jaruri baat karni hai.

"baad me batata hun.

Shree murmured to sakshi,then all followed rathore to the conference hall.

"Jafar Khan ,Mumbai ek jana mana gangster.sirf Mumbai nahi ,koi aur states ke police stations se bhi iske naam ka warrent nikla hai.

Pichle kuch mahino se isne aesa koi kaam kiya nahi hai jisse police ki najar ispe pade,per aesa mana jaa raha tha ki ye kahin gayab ho gaya hai ya kiya gaya hai.

Rathore said putting a picture from the file he had brought with himself ,en all eyes moved to take a look at it.

"ye toh vo minister Sarfaraz Khan ka bhai hai,aur Jafar ko sari illegal kaam ke liye support apne bhai se milta hai.

Arjun commented acknowledging the picture.

"haan Rawte,per vo baat alag hai ki aaj tak Mnister ke khilaf koi proof ni mila.

Khair kal andheri ke pass ke ek band goudown me se ek deadbody mili hai.wahan ke local logon ne goudown me se bahut smell aane ki jab complain ki tab municipality ne police ko inform kiya ,aur vo deadbody goudown ke andar mili.

Laash post-mortem ki halath me toh thi nahi kyunki pura body ko jaan bujh ke kisine patthar se bahut buri halath kardi hai,per chehera thoda bahut identify ho raha tha .

Rathore finished in a go,en looked at each and every faces of his team carefully.

They seemed to be thinking.

Shree shrugged.

"aur ye kaam toh local police bhi kar sakti hai,ETF ko dene ka reason.?

Sakshi asked,puzzled.

"kyunki Jafar ka bhai,vo minister ne commissioner sir se iss case ke liye high level enquiry ki maang ki hai.department me sabko pata hai vo ek corrupt politician hai ,per proof ni hai issliye commissioner sir ne usse assure kiya hai ETF ye case solve karegi.

Came Rathore's reply,to which sakshi nodded.

Just then Rathore noticed Arjun was in a deep thought en was staring at Jafar's pic intently.

"Rawte.? Kya soch rahe ho.?

"yahi ki ek minister jo khud corrupt hai ,jisne sare illegal kaam me Jafar ka sath diya vo khud samne se commissioner sir se high level enquiry ki maang kyun karega.?

Arjun asked thoughtfully.

"ho sakta hai sir vo sabko dikhana chahta ho ki vo kitna sacha hai,bina dare ETF se apnee bhai ki maut ki enquiry karwa raha hai.?

Chhotu spoke up shrugging his shoulder.

"aese toh usse pehle apni record clear karni padegi ,taaki kisi bhi situation me uska naam samne na aaye.

Ayesha narrowed her gaze.

"per ye thoda impossible nahi lagta?

Matlab usse bhi pata hoga case ETF ke hath me jaate hi enquiry start ho jaayegi,aur itnee kam waqt me vo apna record kaise clear karega.?

Shree questioned looking in between Rathore & Arjun.

"ek kaam karo sakshi ,Ayesha Jafar ki sare crimes ki report nikalo ,uske pehle gunah se leke aakhri tak.

Chhotu,Riya jafar ka jo address hai wahan se uski sari information nikalo,uske bhai sarfaraz ki bhi.

Shree,apne khabriyon ko alert kardo Mumbai ya Mumbai k bahar jafar ke jitney bhi illegal dhande the aur kaun kaun uske dushman the vo sab nikalo.

Mai aur Rathore Minister se milke aate hain.

Arjun ordered standing up from his chair and wore his goggle.

"yes sir.

All chorused except rathore who too stood up nodding his head.

At minister's residence...

Rathore & Arjun got off the SUV on reaching near the Minister's residence and started entering the giant gate only to be stopped by the security guard.

"ek min sir,andar jaane se pehle kya aapke pass appointment hai.?

The guard asked the duo.

"hum tumhare Minister ke koi employee nahi jo appointment letter leke aayein.

Rathore replied sternly.

"toh phir sorry sir aap bina aapointment ke andar ni jaa sakte.wese bhi Minister sir ne kisi se bhi milne se mana kar diya hai.

The guard said mechanically earning a glare from Rathore ,then he showed his Id.

"ETF.apne sir se kaho hum unke bhai ke murder case enquiry ke liye aaye hain.

"oh.ek..eek min sir..

The guard quickly dialled a number in intercom and after few secs of talk ended the call.

"aap log andar jaa sakte hain.

Rathore & Arjun gave the guard a look before entering in en roamed their eyes around.

The residence was quite big,with numbers of cars parked in the driveway,bunch of butlers loitering around for which they were not surprised at all.

On stepping inside the house they spotted the minister sitting among few other people ,with his brother's photo placed on a table under the staircase and all seemed to be attaining the prayer meet of Jafar.

Seeing the officers the Minister excused himself and approached them with long steps then stretched his hand towards rathore.

"Hello ACP Sameer Rathore.

Rathore gave him a blank look ,but nevertheless shook his hand with him.

"and you must be ACP Arjun Rawte.

The minister now turned his attention to Arjun en stretched his hand once again.

"kaafi ache se jaante hain hame.

Arjun stated ignoring his hand and his gesture as well.

The minister eyed his hand which just got rejected and withdrew it before flashing a smile.

"aap logon ko kaun ni jaanta yahan.? "

"i hope hamne aapko galat time pe disturb na kiya ho ,aapke bhai ke murder case ki enquiry ke liyee.

Rathore started.

"oh no no officer ,it's alright.aapko bhi apna kaam karna hai.so puchiye"

aapko kisi pe shaq hai? Kaun kar sakta hai aapke bhai ka murder.?

Arjun asked straight.

"shaq toh mujhe har kisi pe hai officer. Ab aaj kal kaun hamara dost hai aur kaun dushman ye batana jarur mushkil hai.

Came the minister's reply.

"ye baat toh sahi kahi aapne.ek insaan ke kitne chhre hote hain ye aapse achha aur kaun jaan sakta hai.?

Rathore taunted ,hence the minister threw a glare at him."

"kya matlab hai aapka? Aap mujh pe shaq kar rahe hain.?

"aap khud ki kahi hui baat bhul rahe hain Mr khan ,jab aap apne dost aur dushman me fark ni kr paate hum toh phir bhi officers hain.hum toh sabpe doubt karte hain.samjhe? ya samjhaun.?

Arjun gave him a pointed look.

"dekhiye agar mai apne bhai ka murder karta ,toh mai khud high level enquiry ki demand kyun karta.?

"vo hum pata laga lenge.abhi ke liye aap bas itna kijiye ki hame bina bataye city se kahin bahar mat jaiye ,jab tak case solve ni ho jaata.nah toh ab tak jo shaq hai vo kahin yakeen me na badal jaaye.

Rathore warned before the duo took a leave.

"Minister pe najar rakhni padegi.

Rathore murmured.

"minister pee bhi aur yahan ke Jaafar ke sare gang members pe bhi.

Arjun added.

"gang members.?

Rathore looked puzzled.

"piche mud ke dekho toh pata chalega yahan adhe se zyada jafar ke gang members hain,kaafi time maine inhe chhote mote cases me jail me dekha hai.sariff banke baithe hain taaki kisiko pata nma chale.

Ya toh ye log hamari tarah khooni ko dhund rahe hain ya phir proofs mitane ke liye ek sath plan bana rahe hain.

Arjun explained.

Rathore held the goggle in his hand and slightly lifted it up to get the reflection of his back en indeed all the people present there were watching them only;with fear stricken on few face.

Once the duo came out of the residence Rathore quickly dialled shree's number.

"sarfaraz khan ke residence ki sare mobile phones tap karo ,yahan tak ki butlers ki bhi.

"ok sir.

Shree replied ,thus Rathore ended the call.

"jafar khan, Mumbai me iska janam hua aur Mumbai me hi pala bada hua.bachpan me maa,baap ke maut ke baad ye aur iska bhai ek childhome care me bade hue.jis childhome care me ye dono rehte the humne wahan puch tach kiya toh pata chala ki Jafar ko bachpan se hi chori aur maar pit ka shauk tha.usne apni padhai tak puri ni ki thi.

Per uska bhai Sarfaraz ko power chahiye tha,issliye usne padhai ki aur kuch friends ke help se politics me ghus gaya.

Duniya ko dikhane ke liye ye dono bhai ek dusre ke kaam me interfere ni karte,per ye sabko pata hai Jafar ko illegal kaam ke liye support,fund apne bhai se hi milta hai.

Aur politics me sarfaraz ko sab darrte uske bai ki wajah se.

Riya finished in a breathe,when sakshi started speaking.

"jafar ne 11 saal ki age me pehla murder kiya tha apne ek dost ka jisse uski ladhai ho gayi thi.

Jiski wajah se usse school se nikal diya gaya,phir vo police ke hath bhi ni laga tha.

"uske baad vo eke k baad ek gunah karta gaya.yahan tak ke 2 police officers ki murder kiya tha usne February me.

Ayesha spoke.

"sir hum uske ghar gaye the jahan vo pehle rehta tha.neighbours ka kehna hai ki Jafar aur uski wife 3 saal tak wahan rahe the,jab Jafar ki nayi nayi shadi hui thi.dono husband ,wife ki bahut jhagde hote the aur unka ek beta bhi tha.

Beta paida hone ke 1 saal baad Jafar ne apni biwi ko chhod diya aura b vo alag rehti hai.

Chhotu piped in.

"bas yahi nahi,Jafar jabardasti apne bte ko apni wife se chin ke le aya tha.ye baat hame khud uski wife ne batayi.

Riya added.

"toh kahin uski biwi ne bte ke liye Jafar ko maar toh ni diya.?

Sakshi raised her brow.

"bte ke liye tab maarti jab beta zinda hota.

6 mahine pehle Jafar pe ek gang ne attack kiya tha ,aur shoot out me jafar ke bte ki maut hogayi thi.

Arjun clarified showing them a file.

"haan agar apne bte ke maut ka badla lene ke liye uski biwi ne usse mara ho toh vo angle se possible hai.

He added ,to which Shree shook his head.

"per sir unko dekh ke aesa lagta ni ki murder unhone kiya hoga.i mean hum jab unse mile the to vo kaafi bimar lag rahin thi.

Rathore chirped scanning the bank statements.

Riya questioned thoughtfully.

Arjun answered getting up from his chair ,and so did others.

Ayesha narrowed her gaze.

The lady mumbled.

Arjun asked straight.

Riya showed up the bank statements to her en the lady visibly looked surprised.

Sakshi raised her brow trying to act like Arjun,earning a hard glare from him; whereas Riya glanced in between them before focusing on Mrs khan.

The lady closed her eyes releasing a sharp breathe then looked up to them.

"Sarfaraz aur mai college mates the,aur tabse hi vo mujhe pasand the.college elections ke har campaigning me mai unkee sath raha karti thi,aur issi me meri mulakat Jafar se hui thi.

Pata nahi kab jafar ko mujhse pyar ho gaya sur usne mujhse shadi karne ki baat apne bhai se kahi .

Sarfaraz ko meri feelings ke bare me pata nit ha aur vo apne bhai se bahut pyar karte the issliye apne bhai se shadi ke liye unhone mujhse pucha tha.

Pehle maine mana kar diya tha per Jafar ne meri family ko dhamki di thi ki agar mai usse shadi ni karti toh vo meri puri family ko maar dega,bas issi darr me maine usse shadi karli.

Pehle lagta ki sarfaraz ne bhi apne bhai ka sath diya tha iss jabardasti ki shadi me ,issliye maine usse bhi baat karna band kar diya tha.

Maine bahut koshis ki jafar ko sare galat kaam karne se rokne ke liye per usne kabhi meri baat ni suni.

Hamara jab beta hua tab mujhe pata chala sarfaraz ko hamari jabardasti shadi ke bare me kuch pata hi nahi tha,usse ye kaha gaya tha ki mai apni marzi se shadi kar rahi hun.

Issliye sarfaraz ne mujhse promise kiya tha ki vo mujhe jafar se dur le jaayeega.

Per ye baat jafar ko pata chal gaya aur usne mujhe ghar se nikal diya aur mere bte ko apne sath rakh liya.

Dono bhai me jhagda ho gaya tha iss baat pe.

"kya aapko pata hai Jafar ke har illegal kaam me Sarfaraz uski help karta hai.?

Arjun spoke interrupting her.

"ye baat mujhe tab pata chala jab sarfaraz mujhe apne sath uske ghar le gaya tha.maine ussi waqt mana kar diya tha wahan rehne ke liye per usne mujhe kaha ki bahut jald sare galat kaam chhod dega.

As soon as the woman finished rathore's eyes snapped up to her.

"kya.?

"haan.Sarfaraz ,Jafar ka sath chhodne wale the.kyunki Jafar unke khilaf jaake ek terrorist gang join karne wale the.

kaunsa terrorist gang? Aapko kuch pata hai.?

Riya asked curiously.

"itna toh ni pata per haan sarfaraz keh rahe the bahut khatra hai isme.

Came the lady's reply.

"kya sarfaraz ne Jafar ka khoon kiya hai ,iss gusse me ki vo unki baat ni maan raha tha.?

Ayesha spoke this time.

"nahi.sarfaraz unhe kyun marenge ,jabki unhe khud Jafar se jaan ka khatra tha.?

Sakshi exclaimed in shock.

"haan.sarfaraz ne jafar ko bahut samjhane ki koshish ki vo gang join na karne ke liye ,per jafar ne sidha mana kardiya.

Aur jafar ne dhamki di th ki agar vo unke kaam me interfere karenge toh vo unhe maar denge.

"aesi kaunsi gang join karne ke liye jafar itna desperate tha.?

Arjun muttered under his breathe ,just when Chhotu came rushing inside the room.

"sir, Minister Sarfaraz pe attack hua hai.abhi abhi khabar mili hai.

"what.?

Team let's go.

Rathore announced ,ready to leave any moment.

"dekhiye mujhe bhi jaana hai.

The lady cried.

"aap hamare sath ni jaa sakti,wahan khatra ho sakta hai.aap yahin rukiye.

Riya said her politely before the ETF Team rushed outside.

In the hospital...

"ACP Sameer Rathore,ETF.hame minister Sarfaraz se milna hai.

Rathore chirped entering the lobby of the hospital ,followed by others.

"sir this way.

The local police officer showed him the way,which they quickly followed.

"kaise hua ye sab.?

Arjun asked on the way.

"minister sir apne residence jaa rahe the aur raaste me kuch logon ne attack kar diya .security kam thi issliye vo log bhaag nikle aur minister sir ghayal ho gaye.bodyguards bhi shootout ki wajah se injured hai.

The officer explained ,en then they entered a specific room where the minister was laying with his eyes closed.

minister sir? ETF aye hain aapse milne.

The officer called out,thus in respond the minister opened his eyes.

"kaun the vo log.?

Rathore enquired.

"ja...jafar.

The Minister mumbled very slowly.

"jafar? Per vo toh marr chuka hai na.?

Arjun looked at him in disbelief ,while others exchanged looks among each other.

"nahi.maine dekha usse.

The minister spoke ,then kept his oxygen mask aside to talk.

"vo ...vo zinda hai.aap usse rokiye vo thik ni kar raha hai.

Ayesha opened her mouth to ask something ,but was interrupted by shree who entered the room hurriedly with his lappy and a headphone in hand.

"sir,aap please ye suniye.Biju ,jafar ka right hand ? uska call tap kiya tha maine aur thodi dair pehle vo kisise baat kar raha tha.

All became attentive ,when shree played the audio.

"taiyar hai na? Vo log ek ghante ke baad ghati me pahunch jaayenge.kisi chiz ki kami ni honi chahiye.

Ye deal hona bahut jaruuri hai,toh koi gadbad ni honi chahiye .nahi toh jaan se jaoge.

Rathore and Arjun shared a look,then they turned to the minister.

Rathore questioned him intently.

The minister stammered looking down.

Arjun roared.

The minister answered en all except Rathore's eyes were snapped up to Arjun ,who visibly turned stiff at his mention.

Rathore yelled ,causing Arjun to clench his jaw.

As soon as h finished his words all whipped their heads to him in surprise,except Rathore who turned more furious.

Rathore said in finality in his voice ,thus Arjun furiously dashed towards his cabin.

Others shared looks among each other,when Rathore's curt voice interrupted the silence.

He walked away towards his own cabin,leaving others in dilemma.

Sakshi spoke after few secs of silence.

All kept mum thinking over her words,when chhotu spoke up shaking his head.

"nahi.sir ne gusse me bol diya hoga,sach me thodi chhodenge.

Shree murmured ,to which Ayesha agreed.

"mujhe lagta hai hame Sameer se baat karni chahiye.kya pata vo...

"nahi sakshi ,isme Rathore sir ki galti ni hai,aur na hi Arjun sir ki.

Riya chirped interrupting her ,and shree nodded his head.

"Ri shi keh rahi hai.

Ayesha ,tum Rathore sir se baat karke dekho,aur umm...

Ayesha completed his words before he could.

"haan Riya tum hi jao.mai chali jaati per agar mere muh se kuch nikal gaya aur Arjun k aur gussa agaya toh.?

Sakshi gulped.

Riya thought for a while looking at her friends ,then agreed getting up from her chair.

There arjun threw all the belongings of his table to the floor furiously ,recalling rathore's words.

All those years the pain he was carrying over his chest was now revolving around his mind,while his eyes moistened remembering Roshni's cry when the monster was giving her a painful death.

Now when he got a little chance to get closer to his sore enemy his duty was stopping him.

Frustrated,he kicked the chair when the door was knocked lightly.

"mujhe kisise abhi koi baat ni karni,leave.

He roared not bothering to look at his back to see who it was.

Riya started after pushing the door open,but was stopped by his angry roar.

"tumne suna nahi maine kya kaha? LEAVE.

She gulped a little eyeing the thrown papers,files ,the chair,but nevertheless didn't leave from there; instead stood silently waiting for him to calm down.

Arjun stood unmoving but still in a rage ,whereas Riya stood silently at his back.

Few minutes passed en none spoke a word and feeling he was a little calm now she started speaking.

"pata hai sir?training ke waqt hame sikhaya jaata hai ki apne colleague,senior ya junior officers se professional ke alawa koi aur relationship rakhna ni chahiye. Kyunki ek ETF officer kisi bhi situation me weak hona afford ni kar sakta.

Sayad issliye humne aapko aur rathore sir ko hamesha strict dekha hai.

Pehle lagta tha aap dono hame sirf apne teammates maante hain,per aaj pata hai aap dono hum sabke liye kitni care karte hain ,bas dikhate ni hai.

"mai kisiki care nahi karta.na iss team ki, aur na hi tum logon ki.ETF join karna meri ek galti thi.

Arjun spat angrily,to which she let out a smile.

"aur iss galti ko sudharne ke liye aapke pass chance aya tha na sir? Per aapne team ni chhoda.itne waqt me hum aapko itna toh jaante hain sir ki...

"kuch nahi jaanti tum mere bare me Riya.

He roared cutting her words off in middle.

"ye khayal pane dimag se nikaldo ki mai iss team ke liye care karta hun.jo mere raaste me ayega mai usse chhodunga nahi. Achha hoga agar tum sab ye baat apne chief ko samjhao.

"thik hai sir mai maan leti hun ki apko iss team ki fikr nahi.

Per aap hame toh itna jaante hain ki hum iss case se back off ni karenge,aap chahe ya na chahein hum uss ghati me jaayenge.

Ab ye toh aap ko bhi pata hai wahan kitna khatra hai ,toh decision apko lena hai .

Aap apne team ke sath rehke sabko safe karke case solve karna chahte hain,ya akele jaake apna mission pura karna chahte hain.

She finished giving him a small smile before walking away,when he looked away clenching his jaw.

"Ayesha discussion ka koi faida nahi hai,hame chalna chahiye.wahan pahunchne ke liye time lagega.kisi bhi tarah se aaj ye case close karna hai hame .let's go.

Rathore chirped curtly eyeing his wrist watch then started leaving his cabin,making Ayesha sigh in defeat.

By the time both Rathore & Ayesha reached the conference hall Riya too approached them on the same time;hence all her friends turned to her with hopeful eyes.

Sighing Riya shook her head ,and rathore's voice grabbed their attention.

"team all set? Maine police ko bhi inform kar diya hai wahan pahunchne ke liye.Let's go.

"yes sir.

All chorused before following him ,while Riya glanced towards Arjun's cabin for the last time then left.

"sir,srafaraz keh raha tha ki jafar ne uspe attack kiya .agar Jafar zinda hai toh vo dead body kiski hai jo factory se mili thi.?

Chhotu questioned thoughtfully on their way.

"ho sakta hai Sarfaraz ko galatfemi hui ho.aur agar vo sach keh raha hai toh ho sakta hai Jafar khudki maut ki jhutha natak kar raha tha ,taaki uska record clear ho jaye aur Shikander ki gang join kar sake.

Rathore explained.

"per shiaknder jaisa terrorist Jafar jaise ek mamuli gangster ko apni gang me kyun lega.?

Ayesha piped in curiously.

"arey Ayesha shikander jaise terrorist aese hi cities pe kabza karte hain.chhote mote gangs ko apne taraf karke dheere dheere sab kuch control karr lete hain.Pathan lala last admit ha jo Mumbai me shikander ke liye kaam karta tha,uske jail jaane ke baad koi aur toh usse chahiye hi.

Shree answered.

Rathore had his eyes set on the road but Shree's words well reached up to his ears.

How can he forget what shikander has done to him & to Arjun ?

The reason he lost his bestest friends,one to death and another to a strange world.

He knew His & Arjun's relation can't be like the old one ever ,but deep inside his instincts didn't allow him to permit Arjun to take the risk all alone .

"sir khabri ne bataya ki Birju ghati pahunch gaya hai.

Chhotu said ,interrupting his chain of thoughts.

"hmm..usse kaho unke samne mat jaaye ,hamare pahunchne tak wait kare.

"ok sir.

Chhotu replied ,typing the same as he said.

Soon the SUV stopped few distance away from the ghati,and all got off preparing guns in their respective hands.

They started entering in slowly ,careful to not make noise as much as possible but suddenly a bullet was fired just above sakshi's head.

"aahhh..

Sakshi screamed sitting down that instant,when Riya approached her quickly.

"sakshi,tum thik ho.?

"haan.sar ke upar se gaya.

Came sakshi's quvering reply and then there was another gun shot.

"Team be alert & spread out.

Rathore commanded firing bullets back at some goons.

For next 15 mins the gun shot continued.

Sakshi hid behind Shree who was firing the goons from behind a tree,whereas Ayesha ,Riya,chhotu & Rathore attacked the goons from different directions.

Chhotu gave an impressive look to Riya who successfully shot two goons on point blank ,then focused on his own work.

Everything was going on ETF's favour until Sakshi noticed a goon at Rathore's back pointing a gun at him ,which rathore was unaware of.

"Sameer jhuko.

Sakshi's loud voice grabbed everyon's attention and before Rathore could turn and dudge the bullet the man was shot dead from another bullet.

Confused,rathore whipped his head to where the bullet sound came from only to find Arjun standing over a stone with his eyes pinned to the deadbody laying on the ground.

Shree & chhotu's eyes widened at his presence whereas sakshi smiled along with Ayesha.

A small smile appeared on Riya's lips ,whereas Rathore simply gave a blank look to Arjun before moving inside .

Soon most of the goons were injured,caught and some were dead ,but to their neither they found the trace of Jafar or shikander.

"bol jafar kahan hai.?

Rathore asked furiously to Birju,who was the right hand of jafar.

"mujhe ni pata.

Birju looked away .

"mai batata hun kahan hai Jafar.

Arjun spoke folding his arms across his chest.

"kahan hai sir.?

Chhotu looked at him curiously.

"araha hai chhotu.shree leke araha hai.

Arjun replied.

Within secs Shree came walking inside with a mirror in his hand, confusing all.

"ye Kya le aaye Shree.? "

Sakshi narrowed her gaze.

"vo.. Err Arjun sir ne kaha. "

Shree fumbled turning to Arjun.

Rathore raised his brow at Arjun, who took the mirror from shree and put it in front of Birju.

"ye raha Jafar. "

All looked at him in shock, including Birju.

"Kya.? "

Ayesha voiced out everyone's thought.

"jiski dead body mili thi vo Birju tha, aur uski shakal leke ghumne wala ye Jafar hai.

Yahan ane se pehle mai sarfaraz ke pass gaya tha, aur usne mujhe ye sach bataya. "

Arjun explained.

"Agar tum Jafar ho toh Birju ko kyun maara.? "

Rathore asked the man seated on the chair, en he started speaking.

"Birju mera right hand hoke bhi mere bhai ke liye kaam karta tha. Mere kaam ki sari information vo bhai ko deta tha, jis wajah se bhai mujhse Zyada share maangne lage the.

Wese bhi mujhe apne purane sare record clear karne the, issliye maine Birju ko maar dala.

Phir plastic surgery karwake mai Birju ban gaya. "

"toh phir apne bhai se attack kyun karwaya. "

Riya asked.

"vo mujhe pata chala ki vo mere piche mere hi khilaf sabut jod rahe hain taaki apne bhai ko galat sabit karke, unhe politics me faida ho.

Issliye maine unpe attack kardiya, per apni security guards ki wajah se vo bach gaye. "

The man replied.

"Aur Shikander.? "

Arjun muttered gritting his teeth.

"Shikander kabhi yahan aya hi nahi.

Vo mujhe dhoka deke mera 2cr ka drugs lena chahta tha, issliye mujhse deal ki baat ki aur apne ek admi ko yahan bhej diya.

Mujhe uspe shaq hua issliye maine Uske admi ko maar diya. "

"Kya? Agar tumne usse maar diya tha, toh phone pe kis deal ki baat kar rahe the.? "

Rathore asked amusingly.

"uh... Vo toh aap logon ko dhoke se yahan bulane ke liye tha.

ETF pehle se hi meri bahut nuksan kar chuki hai, aur mujhe pata tha sare phone calls tap horahe hain issliye maine plan banaya.

Koi ek officer mar jaata toh case bhi close hojata, aur Jafar ka record bhi. "

Riya chirped following him.

"jo bhi ho yar jaldi se dead body dhundo, Nahi toh 'samjhe ya samjhaun' aur 'Damn it' dono hi ajayenge hamari class lene. "

Shree shook his head.

Riya said in a warning tone, only to get a mocking salute from shree in return.

Shaking her head Riya turned to Chhotu en found him struggling to free himself from bunch of leaves his shoe was stuck with.

Suddenly his foot slipped, making him jerk backwards into a pond he was unaware of.

Riya screamed stretching her hand to hold him from falling in the pond,

instead Chhotu pulled her hand along with him causing both to slip inside the pond.

Shree covered his mouth with his palm ,

when Riya, Chhotu stood up with the water reaching up to their waste and they were soaked with mud.

"maine hath diya tha tumhe bachane ke liye,

na ki mujhe bhi iss me pull karne ke liye. "

Riya glared Chhotu.

"sorry yar. Sab Kuch itna suddenly hogaya ki samajh me nahi aaya tumhe mujhe pull Karna hai ya mujhe tumhe. "

Chhotu explained rubbing the mud off from his hand.

They both were interrupted by the loud laugh of Shree,

who was having a great time in seeing their current state.

"jara dekho tum dono ko. Cartoon lag rahe ho. "

Chhotu and Riya frowned at him,

when another voice spoke from Shree's back.

"Agar tumhara hasna khatam hogaya ho toh Shree, inki help Karo bahar aane me. "

Arjun chirped strictly, walking straight towards the pond.

Shree's laughter halted, as he nodded his head.

"yes sir. "

Chhotu smiled stretching his hand as Arjun offered his hand at the same time,

but the next moment he realized Arjun wasn't offering him, it was for Riya.

Shree's brow raised, then he exchanged an amusing look at Chhotu before pulling him out of the pond.

"hath do apna. "

Arjun asked Riya who looked a little hesitated, since her hand was full of mud.

He repeated, cutting her words off in middle.

Nodding she put her hand in his hand and he tightened his hold on her to pull her out.

"Chhotu dekha jaaye toh Arjun sir ko teri help karni chahiye thi. Per dekha kaise sidha Ri ke pass chale gaye. "

Shree murmured slowly.

"haan. Aaj kal Arjun sir Kuch alag hi lag rahe hain. " Chhotu chuckled beside him.

Riya mumbled, once after she was out of the pond.

Arjun nodded leaving her hand, then looked away maintaining his posture.

"hmm vo toh hai. "

Shree agreed.

"ye Kya hua tum dono ko.? "

They heard Rathore's voice from a distance, who approached them followed by Ayesha & Sakshi.

"vo umm... Sir hum bas vo pond me gir gaye. "

Chhotu replied embarrsingly.

"ek kaam Karo andar bathrooms hai, dono pehle saaf ho jao.

Bureau pahunchne ke liye toh time lagega. "

Ayesha said, to which the duo agreed.

By the time both Chhotu and Riya came out of the washrooms, the whole team was ready to leave near the SUV.

"vo dusra SUV bullet lagne ki wajah se puncture hogaya hai ,toh hame ek hi suv me wapas jaana padega. "

Rathore informed all.

"arey bas hum jald se jald bureau pahunch jaaye. Meeti toh saaf hogaya per ye geele kapdon me bahut hi uncomfortable feel horaha hai. "

Chhotu groaned, standing near shree.

"mujhe bhi.

Chhotu aaj ke baad mai tera help kabhi ni kar rahi. "

Riya frowned.

"arey sorry na.

Ab soch aaj meeti me dubake ke tujhe teri bachpan ki yaad dilayi ya nahi maine.? "

Chhotu grinned,earning a fake glare from Riya, whereas Shree chuckled.

"Shikander ke admi ki dead body mil gayi hai, aur jo sab chizein mili hai vo police leke pahunch jaayegi.

Ab chalein.? "

Rathore raised his brow, and all nodded occupying their seats in the SUV.

arjun took the driver seat, with Rathore in the passenger seat en others adjusted in the back seats.

As Arjun started driving he stole a glance at the mirror, only to find Riya sitting with her arms folded, trying to keep herself warm, but not uttering a single word.

He turned the AC off that instant, causing Chhotu and Riya to sigh in relief.

"Arey AC kisne off kardiya? "

Sakshi complained looking inbetween Arjun and Rathore.

"arey rehne de na Sakshi. AC me hum dono ko Zyada thand lag rahi thi, kyun Riya.? "

Chhotu turned to her, en she nodded her head as a yes.

Rathore observed them for a while, then suddenly remembered the doctor's statement during Riya's stay in the hospital.

"aapki officer ki body me vo virus dissolve toh ho gaya hai, per Uske Kuch traces abhi bhi unke body me hai.

Isse unhe koi problem toh ni hogi, bas unhe hame normally jitni thand lagti hai usse thoda Zyada thand feel hoga.

Isske liye unhe dhyan rakhna padega. "

Were the doctor's exact words as per Rathore recalled, then glanced at Arjun in acknowledgement; who had his eyes fixed on the road.
