ARIYA FF : GHOSTLY ROMANCE.

Chapter 3 :

After closing the door Arjun aka ASR took out his phone and dialed his secretary's number.

"Veronica, get me all the details regarding Riya Mukherjee,"

"Yes that same girl... i don't any excuses," he put the the call on speaker and relaxed on the chair leaning back.

"But sir... She has left and there are many Riya's in the world.. how will I. ?

" Get me all the details regarding Miss Riya Mukherjee in 6 hours or get me ur resignation letter ...anyways there are very less Riya Mukherjee's in Delhi ... get it done otherwise Samjhe ya Samjhaun."

Veronica: sorry what A.S.R. .. sorry I didn't get the last part.

" just do it, u have 5 hours 58 seconds left only,"

Here when Riya reached home she received a parcel. Excitement took over her as she opened it carefully. It was the first time since she came to Delhi tht she received a mail.She instantly do forgot about the incident with Arjun and she quickly took out her phone and called her best friend.

"Shree tu believe nahi karega," she said in excitement.

Shree (laughing) : yahi naa... mmm... k tujhe ETF Mumbai mein as a Research Specialist job mil gai hai.

Riya (calming down) : tujhe kaise pata?

"Darling mein bhi ETF main hoon aur waise bhi tera ye approval letter maine hi type kiya tha apne pyaare hathon se hi on my private Lappy. "

Riya : sach bol ... tujhe mein acchese janti hoon bol kaise approve hua... legal hai naa?

Shree :Areh haan yaar Legal bande (, man) se illegal baat mat karo.. yaar police wala hoon.

Riya : chal chal drama band kar aur bata naa yaar Shree.

Shree : hamare Chief Rathore sir ko laga ke hamari team mein ek research specialist ki zaroorat hai toh unho ne hum sab ko kissi lo recommend karne ko bola from the lost he had... aur maine jab list mein Dekha toh tera naam bhi tha issiliye I said 'this one'...

" Phir ? : Riya said (getting tensed)

Shree : sir ne phir teri biography dekhi aur mere already type kiye hue approval letter par autograph de diya. And so your are officially a part of ETF. Yahi tu chahti thi naa.

Riya (smiling) : chal ab rulayega kya... accha sirf tere kehne se I don't believe it, chal ab sach bol.

Shree : haan toh baki sab ne bhi haan kiya naa akhir tere pichle sabhi records kitne acche hai...tere sare previous records dekhi and generally you were the best so they all voted and ...

Before he could continue Riya stared telling in joy.

" Yaa...aaa...aaay ab hum dono sath kaam karenge... mein abhi shopping ko ja rahi hoon tujhse office mein baat karoongi. Later."

Shree : hamesha ki tarah letter aadha pada naa tune. Riya sunn tujhe aaj raat ki flight se hi aana hoga, kal teri The Interview lenge hamare The 2nd Commander in chief. Aur agar wo maan gaye then no one will have any probs but ek baat yaad rakhna... Sunn rahi hai naa?

Riya: yes sir... agay bol.

Shree: dono chiefs hot tempered hai... dono se hi dur rehne ki koshish karna.

"Kyyuuun?" Riya said stretching the word

Shree: Areh hamare office ka ek usoool hai ... ki "JAAN SE PYAAR HAI TO SHERO SE DUR RAHO"... dono ek dusre k bhi dushmann hai... tu aja khud samajh jayegi. Waise bhi inki show ki tickets bilkul 'FREE' hai.

Riya: aur available bhi naa.

(both burst into laughter)

hehe Serial mein bhi free ka show hota tha aur Sher bhi ye dono the... paruntu Shikaar Ya toh Riya ya phir ChoRee hotein the. They were awesome naa in the show... Anybody else misses them.

Riya (Mummbling) : tu fikar mat kar yaar waise bhi mere life mein monsters ki kaami nahi, do aur a gaye toh koi baat nahi.

Shree: kya bak bak kar rahi hai...kuch suni nahi de raha hai. Achha darr mat ek sher matlab Rathore sir ki kamsori Ayesha hai hamare paas bas uss Sadu ka nahi hai. Uska tog naam lene se bhi darr lagta hai.. kahin se tahpak naa jaye.. tujhe pata hai wo naa Sherlock Homes ka descendant lagta hai, u know he ..

Riya: accha wo sab chod tu bata whose this Ayesha. Facebook par hai naam bata.

Shree (giggling) : Ayesha Kapoor and no I don't know yaar, tu research specialist hai ya main. Ab jaldi se ajaa for now bye take care. Kal Hitler aaega isiliye aaj Rathore sir sarein pending work finish kar rahe hai. You know yaar EGO problem warna kal phir se wo akbar bolegein " kahin toh kuch chut raha hai Rathore. " He disconnected the call

" sunna bhi nahi yaar meri baat.. par mein kyun usse bataun. Go to hell A.S.R Kyunki ab ye Riya Mukherjee ek boring research desk par nahi balki Etf k respected Research specialist banne wali hai... ofcourse after getting approved our Second Commander in charge."

"What do you mean by not found."

Veronica : sorry A.S.R but as I said this is all I could find.
Arjun : you want me to believe that she only has records that are only 3 years old and nothing before. You couldn't even find her original birth place and not even her family...Awesome Ms Hills and i was told that u were one of the best.

Veronica: A.S.R I am sorry but she... She doesn't have any other records except that she works with a Research firm and has just got a job in Mumbai and.., and she has already left about two hours ago.

"Iska matlab ke wo zaroor kisi aur jagah se aai hai par kaun hai wo aur kisne bejha usse?" he turned his laptop on and started typing something.

Veronica : sorry A.S.R but I didn't understand what u just said.

Veronica smiled when she saw Arjun smile and the next thing he said left her dumbstruck.

"I said that get me your resignation letter, I will sign it and collect your salary... just get out of my sight," Arjun said.

When she left he received his manager's call.

"Sir , aapki flight ka time hogaya hai."

Arjun: delay ho sakta hai kya Vijay? (Tone = ORDER)

"Sorry Sir but pilot ne kaha hai ki delay nahi kar sakte," Vijay said.

Arjun : yaa his right... gadhi nikaalo mein niche aaraha hoon.

Vijay : yes sir.

"I fired my secretary so look for a replacement... actually kisi indian ko hire karna, iss wali ko hindi nahi aati," Arjun smiled to himself remembering Riya teaching Willy hindi.

Next day.

"Team ye hai Miss Riya Mukherjee hamari new team member," Rathore said. (Introducing Riya to everyone in the conference room, but before he could introduce any further he got a call and he left.)

"hi Riya main hoon Liza D'Cruz from the forensic department and that's Shree our technical expert," Liza said.

"Riya mujhe janti hai," Shree said. (in a duh tone.)

Shree : accha Riya ye hai Chotu Commando hai.

Riya (shocked) : hi Chotu.

Chotu : hi.

Shree : aur ye hain Ayesha . (He
winked at her)

"Oh toh aap hai Ayesha ...hi," Riya said shaking hands with her.

Shree : accha ab intro hai hamare 2nd Commander in charge ki aur sab log dil thaam k suno aur wo hai...

"Arjun Suryakant Rawte, "

Everyone turned towards the voice and after looking Riya yelled in shock.

"Tum," Riya yelled and held onto Shree for support.

Arjun (stern faced) : agar chillana ho gaya ho toh interview le loon tumhara. (He went and set on his seat after putting his gun on the table and then took her file and started reading.)

Riya went and sat on a chair which was atleast 4 chairs away from Arjun.

Arjun (turned tint he others) : tum logo ki yaha par koi kaam nahi...out.

After they left.

"Aa..aap toh A.S.R the toh phir... ETF mein kaise," she said.

Arjun : i think you are mistaken Miss Mukherjee ab aapke interview par dhyaan de.

Riya's Mov : yaa right as if mujhe job milegi.

"You're selected," he dropped the files and turned to her.

Arjun (expressionless) : tumhe kuch kehna hai Miss Riya.

Before Riya could say anything she saw Roshni standing behind Arjun and she stood up and she saw her coming towards her... so she quickly closed her eyes.

Her this behaviour left Arjun confused and he called her name many times but she didn't reply aur hamara Arjun hai hi impatient usse kussa agaya and si he went to her while she kept chanting something slowly.

Arjun : tumhe sunai nahi deta kya main tumhe itni der se bola raha hoon. (And when he got no response he pulled her up from the chair to his eye level, supporting her body.., and Riya opened her eyes.)

Riya and Arjun had an eye lock but the emotions were different. She had pain, fear and realisation however his eyes showed anger, worry and maybe something else.

Riya pushed him off and searched for Roshni but she was gone... again because of him and before she could thank him she was pushed back on the chair and he was leaning on her, his hands in the either side of the chair.

"Miss Mukherjee, you need immediate help... you should see a psychiatrist," Arjun said.

Riya : A.S.R how dare you.

"It's Arjun... not A.S.R, " Arjun said backing off.

Riya : aap jhoot bol rahe hai ... apne khud kaha tha mujhe ke aap hi A.S.R hai Mr.Arjun Suryakant Rawte.

Arjun (went to her and said) : ek baar phir bol raha hoon... Mera naam Arjun Suryakant Rawte hai... Samjhe ya Samjhaun.

Before Riya could say anything Rathore entered and Riya turned to him but Arjun continued facing the other side as of he knew that he was going to come. (ofcourse)

"She is selected Rathore," Arjun said not facing him.

Arjun went to his seat and sat facing the white board while Rathore went to pick Riya's file and went out again after Whispering a ' Welcome ' to Riya and received a dimpled smile from her.

Riya (Before leaving turned to Arjun and thought to herself ) : patanahi kyun manaa kar rahe hai aap par mujhe pata hai ki aap hi wo shaks hai jisse mein milli thi... aap hi hai A.S.R jisne mujhe kaha tha ke aapne dur rahoon... toh phir agar ye Arjun hi wo Arjun hai toh issne mujhe select kyun kiya? Akhir bye chahta kya hai... chahe jo bhi mein pata kar ke rahoon aur sabit bhi k yahi A.S.R hai... Pehle mein samjhungi phir sabko samjhaungi.

Just as Riya closed the door after exiting Arjun turned his chair towards the door and said :

" I know ke tum confused ho but kya karein... mein tumhe itni asaani se tumhein jaane nahi de sakta abhi toh bahot kich janna baki hai... especially tab jab mujhe pata hai ke tum mujhe meri patni k gunegaro tak pahocha saktein ... so Miss Riya Mukherjee ab zarathustra bachke Kyunki meri nazro se bajhna mushkil hai aur tumhare liye toh close to impossible, " and he smiled to himself looking at Riya's pic which he had taken out from her file.

NOTE:

Rathore doesn't know of Arjuns background since they were best buddies from police training and Arjun didn't like talking about his family so they hardly talked about his family.

2.) Dolly flirting with Arjun and Riya laughing. (Guess why and the one who could guess correct... the next chapter dedicated to them... come on Arjunian's atleast koi toh try karo.)
