Arakshi OS: Kismat Ka Panna

NOTE: This story popped in my mind when I was listening to song 'Uska hi Bana' from '1920 - Evil Returns' .

Translucent fog blanket wrapped city in its soft arms. Last drop on the leaf touched the ground. Fleet of chirpy birds flew high in the sky searching their way across. Sun drowned as dusky sky rose. A man in his early 30's sat on the wooden painted bench in the middle of the garden, with a violin in his hands.

He doesn't know how to play the violin. She tried to reach him, but all her trials are in vain. He is super cop, but stupid violinist. According to him, he is the best, aahuh, greatest violinist husband. He caressed violin and stare at the huge building. Every corner of that house is decorated by her. He has her smiles, laugh, and violin's music locked in it.

"Arjun bass karo. Mein aur nahi sunn sakti. Kuch daer aur sunungi toh khaano se khoon nikal jayega." She said closing her ears.

"So mean Sakshi Arjun Suryakanth Rawte." He gave an envy look.

"Sorry.. Sorry..." Sakshi held her ears. Arjun placed violin aside, "Waise mein ek idea doon.??" She quizzed.

"Kya..?" He enquired turning to her.

"Kisi criminal se sach bhulwane ke liye electric shock ki jagah, tum violin bajake sunado... Bahot faida hoga..." She chuckled and rand from there, Arjun ran behind her.

All her memories flashed in his eyes. First day, he lifted her in his arms and entered their house. She made house, a home.

"Woh tha meri, Hai meri aur rahegi meri. Mera har kadam uski taraf bade, uss pe sirf mera haq hai aur mujhpe sirf uska. Mere maut ke baad bhi mera rooh usi ko chahega." An unconscious smile appeared on his face. But nightmare pushed back those memories. How can he forget that moment when he lost her? That car accident snatched Sakshi from Arjun.

"Arjun, tum teekh toh ho na..?? New mein dikha rahe hai ki ETF pe Gang war". Sakshi worried.

"Sakshi, mein teekh hoon. Mein tumse baad mein baat karta hoon." Arjun disconnected call in hurry.

"mujhe hospital jaana chahiye. Hey baghwaan meri Arjun ko teekh rakhna." She collected her keys and ran to porch. She got into car and drove as fast as she could. Sakshi ringed him again, "Hello Arjun. Mein hospital aarahi hoon."

"Uski koi zaroorat nahi hai Sakshi. I am fine." He said.

"Mein hospital almost pahonch gayi hoon." She pressed accelerator.

"Teekhe, mein bahar aata hoon."

She disconnected call. She was at the end of lane. She saw Arjun standing outside. A wide smile spread her face. Her eyes stick to him seeing him safe. As she turned her gaze, she saw girl running across road. To save her, she turned her steering right and applied brakes. Girl was safe an also Sakshi. Arjun took breath seeing them safe.

Arjun's heart stopped its breath watching further consequence. Sakshi's car was hit by heavy lorry which lost its control on breaks. Sakshi's car rolled on road. Arjun was devasted watching this. Sakshi was in pool of blood waiting for help.

"SAKSHI." Arjun ran to her.

Hospital:

"How is she doctor..?" He enquired as doctor came out of ICU.

"I am sorry Arjun. Aap unhe aakhri baar mil sakte hai." Doctor left him with a bad news.

Arjun dragged his steps praying god, "Tu meri zindagi ki har kushi cheen lo, par iss wade ke saath. Agar agla janam hoga mera, uss janam mein saath hoga humara.

She was on life support life support with many monitors and wires attached to her. Her head injury is cleaned and first aid is done. In those last minutes of her life she smiled and sighed to come to her. Arjun walked to her and held her palm in his.

Her voice was low and heavy, "Koi bhi judaai humein judaa nahikar payegi. Meri inteqaal ke baad bhi mein zinda rahungi teri yaadon mein. Mein saas le rahi hongi teri sason mein." A lone tear travelled down his cheeks as she took her last breath.

Arjun looked at sky, "Mere kismat ki hare k panna usi ki yadon se likdo. Meri kushi ki hare k wajah usk ilamho ko banado. Mein zinda tha uski mohobbat se. Mein zinda hoon usiki mohobbat se."

He closed his eyes remembering her last words, Jab tum aankh band karoge, uss andere mein meri chehra hogi. Uss bandh aankhon se jab aasu niklega, uss aasu ko mitaane ki pehli bearish banker tujhe milungi.'

Arjun closed his eyes feeling first drop of rain on his face. Rain was followed by those few drops. He caressed violin and whispered, "Happy Anniversary Sakshi."

He walked from there into house, "Mere kahaani ka arth hai woh. Mere zindagi ka har ek kahaani hai woh. Sabko laga bichad gaye hum, mere rooh ko poocho kitna kareeb hai hum. Mere Kismat Ka Panna zindagi ne iss tarah palat diya, tujhe mujhse iss tarah cheen kar bhi juda karne mein haar gaya."

hey its amazing. bahut time se wait kar raha tha arakshi os ka and today mila. Nice lines and emotional ones. i love this. The last line of os, i love it.
