CHAPTER 3:

In car everybody were in deep thought. Everybody were thinking about Sakshi. What could've happen to her? Where could she go?

Aisha: Sir, haame Sakshi ko dhunda chahiye.

Sameer: Tum phikar maat karo Aisha. Haam Sakshi ko jaroor dhund lenge.

Shree: Likin sir, woh kaha ja sakhti hai?

Arjun: Mujhe paata hai ki Sakshi kaha hai.

Everybody startled. They looked at Arjun.

Sameer: Rawte agar tujhe paata hai toh haame pehle kiyu nehi baatya?

Arjun: Jaab maine dekha ki woh apni parents ke ghar nehi gyi tab hi mujhe samajh aa gya ki woh kaha hai.

Liza: Sakshi aab kaha hai sir?

Arjun: ETF hedquarter.

Everybody became shocked to hear this.

Chotu: But sir...

Arjun: Ussne ekbar kaha tha ki yeh ETF usske liye dusra ghar hai aur tumsab usski family..(correcting himself)..hamsab usski family hai. Aksar stressed ho jaati thi toh pura office chakkar lagati thi. I am sure ki Sakshi haame wahi milegi.

Even in this situation a small smile crept on everybody's lips. No matter how indifference Arjun showed towards Sakshi it's pretty clear that he know her more than anybody like Sakshi know him more than anybody.

When they parked the car in the garage it was already half past eight. They went inside the office. After a futile search they gather in conference room.

Sameer: Rawte mujhe nehi laagta ki Sakshi yaha ayi.

Arjun think for a while than ran towards the terrace. Every team member became shocked but ran after him. The terrace door was open. Arjun pushed the door and stepped in the terrace. As predicted Sakshi was there. Sitting in the swing. Her bag was lying on the floor beside her. Arjun went to her. She had a lost look on her face. Tear marks were clearly visible. Her eyes were red and puffed for crying long time. Arjun sat beside her and put a hand on her shoulder. She didn't respond. Their heart wrenched seeing the state of this bubbly girl. Arjun took hold of her hand and took her inside. He made her sit in the chair and himself sat near her. Aisha gave a glass of water and Arjun made her drink.

Sameer: Sakshi kya hua? Haame toh batao. Haam tumhare mada karenge.

Aisha: Haan Sakshi. Please. Baatao haame ki tum uss ladke ko kaise jaante ho?

Sakshi looked up. Her eyes travel to every face and at last she looked at Arjun. Arjun squeezed her hand. His warmth gave her strength. She knew she can't do anything without her team members help. So, she started to narrate her story...

Sakshi: India is a free country. But still there are few states that used to run by kings and queens. Thoose kings and queens give tax to Indian Government but rule the state in their own accord. Hastanapur is one of them. King Amarnath Kumar Anand and Queen Komal Anand used to rule the state. Everybody was happy under their rule. They had a daughter and a son. Shakshi Anand and Sujay Anand.

Everybody sat their with open mouth. She is a princess? Then what is she doing in here? What happened to her?

Sakshi continued: Yes. It was me and the body you found was my baby brother. Sujay Anand.

Fresh tears found it's way down. Arjun wiped it away with gentle touch.

Sakshi took a deep breath and started telling again.

Sakshi: When I was five Sujay born. I was very happy to have a brother. I started flying in the air. Everybody was happy except one person. Rajmata Padmabati Anand. My Dadisa. After my grandfather died my father sat on the throne. She didn't like it. She always wanted the throne. I was very young but even I could understand that she loathed us. Blood relation was nothing to her.When Sujay was only four Masa and Babasa died in an accident. Or that was what I thought. After my parents death Dadisa sat on the throne. I started to take care of my brother. Days passed to months and months passed to years. As I grew up I started realize the odd and bits. People were not happy. They didn't respect my Dadisa but feared her. She didn't to anything for the prosperity of the state. Sometimes some poor farmer died in hunger and poverty. I was 16 years old. I started to raise my voice. As I was the rightfull hier of the throne. My Dadisa started to fear me. One day in the evening I was wandering in the garden when I heard my Dadisa talking with someone. I hide behind a bush and peeped in. She was talking with one of the royal guards. Murari.

Flashback-

Dadisa: Uss do din ki ladki haamse jaban ladati hai. Usse toh haam usske ma baap ke paas bhej denge.

Murari: Par Maharani ji..

Dadisa: Khamosh. Yaha har saal ek dakuo ke dal aate hai. Haame bohot maante hai. Har saal haam une kuch na kuch bhet dete hai. Iss saal bhet ke tour par haam Sakshi ko bhej denge. Yeh chitthi lo. Yaha maine likh diya hai ki yeh meri poti hai. Aur maje lootne ke baad isse mar dale. Mujhe koi bhi kaanta jinda nehi rakhna hai. Jaise maine apne bete aur bahu ko markar accident ka naam de diya wasehi iss ko bhi missing ka naam de dungi. Sab janenge ki Hastanapur ki Rajkumari kho gyi hai.

Murari: Ji Maharani ji.

Sakshi got really scared. Her heart filled with hatred for that woman. Is she a human or what? She went back to the palace. Wandering what to do. Before she could think of anything few maids came to her. They made her wear a beautiful dress and jwellery. Then they took her to maharani. Sakshi started to shiver in fear. Maharani send her with Murari. In ways she started re-thinking what she heard in the garden. Dadisa killed her mom and dad now want to kill her too. She didn't got a chance to meet with Sujay too. Her eyes welled up. Suddenly she realized that Murari had stopped walking. They reached the border of Hastanapur. Two figure were standing there. One man and one woman. When they came closer she realized it was buasa and fufasa. Kadambini came forward and handed a bag to Murari.

Kadambini: Hamare madad karne ke liye shukria. Iss bag mein kuch shahi gehne aur hera hai. Bhet ke swarop unhe de dijiyega. Aab aap jayie.

Murari joined his palm and bowed to Kadambini and Sakshi then went away. Kadambini and Raghu always kept a distance from Sakshi. But now in her need they came forward to help her. Her heart filled with gratitude towards them. Kadambini came to her and handed her a bag.

Kadambini: Issme aapke kuch kapde aur paisa rakh diya hai haamne. Saath mein aapki mamma ki kuch dresses and jwelleries bhi hai. Jayie yaha se. Tab hi wapas ayiega jab aapke paas usske kheelaf ladne ke liye enough takat hoga. Aalj tak hamne kabhi apko woh pyar nehi diya jiske aap haqdar hai. Likin isska yeh maatlab nehi ki haam aapse pyar nehi kadte. Par haam majbur the. Agar ho sake toh apni bua ko maaf kar dijiyega.

Saying that she pecked on Sakshi's forhead and with Raghu went away.

Flashback Ends

Sakshi: Usske baad mein bohot der tak dourti rahi. Time ke hisab bhi rakh payi. Dourte dorte main road pe chali gyi aur ek car se almost takra bhi gyi. Uss kar mein ek aurat aur ek admi the. Unlogone mujhe lift diya aur apne sath Mumba le aye. Maine unhe kabhi kuch nehi batya par unhone mujhe apni beti ki tarah pala. Mujhe acchi education di. Bada kya. 4 saal bad mujhe pata chala ki Sujay Mumbai aya hai age ki padai ke liye. Mujhse raha nehi gya. Main usse milne chali gyi. Sabkuch batya maine usse. Phir 4 saal tak haam chup chupke milte rahe. Par aab usse bhi maar diya unhone.

Fresh tears filled Sakshi's eyes. But by then everybody had tears in their eyes too including Arjun.

Sameer: Tum phikar maat karo Sakshi. Tumhare iss jang mein haam saab hai tumhare saath. We will help you to get your revenge. Team get ready. We are going to Hastanapur.

Everybody nodded with grim determination in their face.
