Breaking news!!! Breaking News!!! Breaking News!!!

Now, clouds of confusion and uncertainty have been hovering over for quite some time now pertaining to the casting of the new male lead, after Vivian Dsena's exit, in Colors' high budget show, Madhubala (Nautanki Telefilms).

For those who came in late, we would like to inform that the show is up for a sequential jump wherein majority of its previous prominent characters will be shown exiting.

Speculations have been rife on which dashing male actor will come in as the new lead in the show, sharing screen presence with dynamic Drashti Dhami, who will be seen in a new younger geek avatar post leap.

Tellychakkar.com earlier reported that Karanvir Bohra was the forerunner to bag the meaty role, but another source buzzed us that the makers recently did a mock shoot with Shaleen Malhotra, whose show Arjun on Star Plus just got wrapped up.

"Yes, Shaleen has done a mock shoot and it seems he will come in as the new male lead. On a personal note too, Drashti and Shaleen are good friends. Hence the chemistry should be sizzling," the source added.

When we buzzed Shaleen for more info, he agreed that he is in talks to be a part of Madhubala but is yet to get a final confirmation.

Tellychakkar.com will soon come up with further updates and till then, do let us know that if you all like the pairing of Shaleen and Drashti. Hit the comment section below.

Honestly I am not happy.

Shaleen should have started afresh with a new show. Though he is not replacing the main lead per se, I am pretty sure that many of the previous main lead'sfans won't exactly welcome him with open arms. They have started already! You should see some of the things they're saying on that forum about him. Like he's not handsome or talented enough:-(

And in my humble opinion...Madhubala is not the kind of show I watch and like. Not really a fan of shows that depict unhealthy relationships under the guise of 'romance'. I can't envision Shaleen in that show.Still, best wishes to Shaleen and I hope he wins over his critics.
