I really admire how you manage to hit the bull's eye with every review of yours👏.
Though honestly I have mixed feelings about this weekend. When I saw the snap on forum 32 with Arjun reading a script I felt assured. For it marked the existence of the elusive entity called a story and script in the recent proceedings of the show. Though I now wonder about the content of that bundle he had in his hand. For this story had nothing which could remotely resemble a coherent script!
They made a mockery of the ETF team. Like they just ran out of ideas and time and so they tied everyone together to blow them up in an economical fashion. But they forgot that these were four trained ( well almost) officers of an elite defence group. And none of them even offered a fight???. There were no gun shots heard, no screams to warn Arjun, no sign of any combat around?? And did someone actually gag CHOTU and drag him out??!! I am not commenting further. Just expressing that I would have liked to see them die in a manner befitting this valiant team. For here they did not even sacrifice their life, they just gave it up.

But just like always, Arjun made up for most of the embarrassingly executed scenes. I have done this for a very few actors- actually paused and replayed some scenes to capture the nuances of a brilliant performance. His stammering speech after the blast, his disgusted reaction to the accusations, his cold interactions with Karan..everything had a mark of a not just a seasoned but a honest actor. And I do not know who to credit for that metaphoric walk in the rain. The drops washing away his past and hiding his tears. And after more than a year we finally got to see the man acknowledging the loss, expressing what she truely meant to him,and admitting that he has been betrayed beyond repair.

I know some members have expressed displeasure at the lack of flashbacks of the team. Though I admit I expected it too,but that was more because I wanted to indulge into nostalgia and not because Arjun as a character needed it. He had termed them as his family and grief of their loss was written all over his face anyways. It's just that we as an audience are more used to flashbacks being the manifestation of the evoked emotions. Though sometimes its a very manipulative technique, almost forcing you to feel the loss. So,I quite liked it that we felt it without any need for such tools.

And why do we forget that this man rose to his feet after he lost perhaps the very essence of his existence. He has seen loss and tragedy from such a close distance that he has almost developed immunity against it. Though what can be more tragic than 'getting used to' loss.
And that is what gives magnitude to his suffering and adds heart wrenching moments to the story.

So on the whole,no grievances from the show. Hoping for a better chapter though 😊

I'm late as always. *grin*
Carrie dear What a title to the post. The best ever till date. 👏

I was also going through the same thought process of seeing Arjun behind the bars and the same things happening with him like what he does with the criminals. But yes he is Arjun. He's a bulls eye man!
And the dialogue he delivered to Karan too knocked me down!😆

Shaleen was just mind blowing with his expressions today. A man who lost everything; his only family. The portrayal of emotions was so heart wrenching. Shaleen is setting his bench mark.😃

Then the whole process of chase in disguise, to the ministers office and then to that pravachan baba... was heart racing.

The last part indeed was written brilliantly. Applause for the writers too!

There were lose ends in the episode but i was satisfied with the episode.

Well you've put it down excellently well, what more to say!👏⭐️

Great review of this episode I found the episode ok but Arjun's scenes were so amazing that I had to watch the episode twice lol...Shaleen Malhotra is an awesome actor. 👏 The intro part when he realizes he has truly lost his team was so touching. I will try to remain a faithful fan of this show as long Arjun continues to be part of it. :)
I should add he was looking mighty fine today. He should wear black more often 😳

I once had a life you know! A lady to love, a brother to trust, an ambition to fulfill, a passion to wry away monotony, a team-cum-family to bare my soul to...today I stand frozen! A man who lost his all...lost to cause unknown. What you see today is the walk of a man who lost it all, a man who'll be lost in a void never to return back, a man who'll perish the day his vendetta is achieved! This who I am...forever surrounded by shadows for maybe dawn was never meant for me. I always was a dweller of the night and I shall remain so...crepuscular, dark...without a sanctum.

Arjun Suryakant Rawte

Wow! I am just speechless! His life story in a few poignant lines & you have missed nothing!👏 Beautiful lines, Shivani!

Honestly I don't know how to react. Never before have I seen a Wuthering Depth of a human etched out so beautifully. Its always easy to choose from black or white but to wear the morbid and magnetic shade of grey is no easy task. Emotions are complicated and so is human life but to face it all while standing tall is a mammoth task!! I bow down to the person who created this ragged, raunchy, realistic mix of melancholy...and I bow down to the person who breathed life into it. Shaleen Malhotra you are a shooting star and the best thing that has happened to our TV screens! Take a bow baby! Never before have I felt angst so deliciously pleasurable. Never have I seen pain look this picturesque. All I can say is Shaleen has made it happen! If Arjun is what he is today its all because of Shaleen. Such a power pack performance in a span of 60 minutes! Incroyable!!!

I first fell in love with a man's pain some years ago.Another fictional character of course but it taught me something about human beings whose most elusive feature of their life is something that others do not even think about much. A smile, a quiet laughter, a satisfying meal and a peaceful night's sleep. Utterly heart rending!

I actually was preparing myself for a humiliating bout of interrogation but thank heavens Arjun devoured them all! Who the hell were those low lives kidding?? The mighty Arjun who hits he bulls-eye every single time! From carrying out every single investigation to moving like a black raw panther with mad fury up his head...Shaleen looked phenomenal!! The moment he dawned the color black...I had this strong urge to get in there and kiss him senseless!!! this guy has the swagger...has the looks and is gifted with that killer attitude that makes him an irresistible dessert I could dig in anytiime! Uff!! this guy will be the death of me someday!! My father was eyeing me continuously and all i did was blush, swoon and fall with a huge thud!!! Shaleen 'irresistible' Malhotra!!!! What should I do to you?

I was watching him open mouthed all through! A year & half down the line & heart still goes beserk at his sight!😆

The case offered a lot f bloopers and at some places the direction was downright 'ghatiya' but since they ended up on a high...I'll let the CVs pass again!!!

Rohit is an excellent choice for Karan. He has right amount of humor and angst mixed and he's able to pull it off incredibly. Though he'd need a little bit of polishing, I really like him! He'll be perfect to the volatile Arjun!

+1 for him from my side!😊

All in all...Arjun got his glory back!!!! Thank you Team Arjun!!!

U my be wondering why the fascination for Arabs. ? It's Coz I stayed in Saudi Arabia my life and love that look...

I have always had a bit of crush on those Bedouins😳 My earliest fantasy of a dream man was someone just like Arjun dressed in a flowy white caftan. 😃

How can he look so amazing... I wanted to just eat him up when he was wearing black ...😉😛.. True star...

Not only looks, he carried the episode alone on his shoulders and undoubtedly he was bang on...

Only looks never make much of a dent. The man behind the looks is very important. His eyes, his body language & his true nature all go into the making of the icon we see on screen!

Karan was good, he does need some polishing other than that perfect partner to Arjun...

I laughed from my bed when he said 8 movie ke hero...

Good chemistry... Waiting for their b romance. 😛😉

I loved his lines in the car!👏 I am already impressed by the first new member😊

Romance tho mila nahi zyaada, ab bromance se hi umeed ha in. ?..😉

Oh! Dont lose hope yet!😆

@Sadhana

Though it did rankle me a bit yesterday the four ETF officers comically tied around a huge cylinder strapped with bombs & blown away seems downright offensive after yesterday's episode. One would have thought it were the whole ETF & not only Arjun that was being doped that they went down so tamely. The build up was such that someone deliberately went out & planned the systematic annihilation of the elite team that cut no corners in nailing criminals. But turns out it was a case the ETF just happened to stumble into & perished without even an ounce of fight! It seemed very pointless.

But I am not joining the mass mourning of the co actors leaving. They left to pursue higher dreams and projects which they thought were better than Arjun. I am happy for them. But I am not spending my time crying over it!😆

Arjun has always been the saving grace of any episode that falls below average. His performance was another treat for his fans. The man never ceases to amaze.

I like that the creatives take me for an intelligent viewer. I know Arjun is left shattered beyond words at the colossal loss that was his team, his family. I do not need visuals to back up the fact that he misses each one of them so profoundly.

But its different for Roshni. Right from the beginning she is shown to dwell in the memories of Arjun.

I will not write off the creatives just like that. They are still capable of amazing us. 😊 Looking forward!

No praise will be enough for this amazingly talented young lad! Really I have never been so swayed before!

I too loved how Arjun zeroed in & stormed into the hideout! Strange not many seem impressed!😕

The last part indeed was written brilliantly. Applause for the writers too!

Painful to watch!

He did say in his latest interview that black is his favourite. We agree! He should wear more black & I think we can expect it more in the coming weeks what with him being an underground knight 😊
