I have given this a good thought, although I said in an earlier post that I don't want a replacement.
Personally I don't want BK to leave, if he's leaving for a vacation only to come back, I would be more than happy, but as things stand today, I think he might just quit. But silly me is still hoping.
But looking at the situation now, I think a replacement would be better storywise than killing the character Rathod.
Killing Rathod would be too painful to watch and also ETF needs a Chief in command and we know Arjun will not get that place at the moment. Also if Rathod is killed what will happen to Arjun and also Ayesha and the entire ETF team as a whole.
Although I find it very strange that BK is leaving at this stage of the show with only 6 months left, I guess he must have his reasons fr it, I think a replacement would be better.
It's gonna be difficult to see someone else playing the role of Rathod, but as Gorky said the show is bigger than any actor or individual, the show must go on; they have invested so much in this
