She was looking beautiful. His Jaanu... His Aisha...
Roshni blushes. She takes a comforter, covers herself and lies on the bed.
He immediately sends the message to Aisha that Arjun likes Roshni and wants to marry her and they wait for her response. --------------------------------------

This was Payal's demand that I write an OS on Arjun and Roshni.
I wanted to write a happy OS and she wanted a sad OS.
So here is the part 1 - the Happy part

Arjun hates shopping. But he had to go with shopping for his best friend's engagement shopping with him. His best friend Sameer Rathore was getting engaged to the girl of his choice, whom he was madly in love with for past 3 years. He was busy trying some clothes for the occasion and he made Arjun too to try some, which Arjun did reluctantly.
Finally after 3 hours, they were able to select their clothes and came out of the shop.
Sameer got a call from office and he had to go to a crime scene, so he gave the shopping bags to Arjun and immediately left almost sprinting.
Arjun walked slowly with the shopping bags. While coming out of the mall, he sees a beautiful girl and is lost looking at her. She is beautiful just like an angel. Fair complexion, curly hair and sharp features.
She is eating ice-cream slowly relishing it. While eating, a little bit of ice cream sticks to the point of her nose. She happens at look at Arjun casually. Arjun signals her about the ice-cream on nose. She wipes it and asks Arjun with her expressions if it is clared now. Arjun gives her a thumbs up signal and she smiles back at Arjun and leaves. Arjun stands there looking at her.

He snaps out when she is gone and he too leaves. He couldn't get her off his mind.

On Sameer's engagement day, Arjun was late to reach his place and Sameer was calling him again and again. Sameer angry with him. He finally reaches his place and greets his parents. They welcome him. Arjun's parents have already reached there to attend Sameer's engagement. He asks about Sameer and his mother directs Arjun to Sameer's room and tells him to be careful as Sameer was really mad at Arjun for being late.
Arjun knocks the door. Sameer recognizes its Arjun by his style of knocking.
Sam: Darwaza khula hai...
Arjun: pata hai... but is it safe for me to come inside?
Sam: ye tujhe andar aaye bina kaise pata chalega?
Arjun: to main aa jaun?
Sam: haan aa ja... aur dekh le...
Arjun enters the room and is greeted with a punch.
Sam was ready wearing his boxing gloves just behind the door. Though he doesn't hit him very hard but Arjun loses his balance and falls down.
Arjun: kya kar raha hai bey? teri shadi pakki ho gayi hai... meri nahi... shakal bigad dega to koi ladki meri taraf dekhegi bhi nahi...
Sam: kaha mar gaya tha tu? kab se intezar kar raha hoon... aaj itna bada din hai mere liye ... aur tu mere saath nahi hai...
Arjun: yaar... aisa ho sakta hai kya... ki mai aaj ke din tere saath na rahoon? dekh... aa gaya na... aur ye kya hai? itni achchhi sherwani hai... itna achchha saj dhaj ke taiyar hua hai... aur haathoon mein ye boxing gloves... (getting up from the floor)
Sam: tujhe welcome karne ke liye pehne they
Arjun: ab kar liya na welcome... ab to nikal inhe... sagayi karne jaa raha hai... boxing nahi... kya sochenge tere sasural wale...
Sam removes the gloves and pouts his face.
Arjun: thoda smile kar de... nahi to log sochenge tu is sagayi se khush nahi hai... logo ko kya pata ki tu mujhse naraaz hai...
Sam couldn't help but smile at this.
Sam: ab tu kisi mahurat ka intezar kar raha hai taiyar hone ke liye?
Arjun: oh ... haan...
Sam: aur haan... zyada time mat lagana... aadhe ghantey mein nikalna hai...
Arjun: yaar... teri sagayi aur shadi mein main attraction to mai hi hoon na... I mean...tera wicket to gaya... ab... the most eligible bachelor to mai hoon na... to mujhe to special lagna hi hai... kitni ladkiyan aur unke parents mujhe dekhenge...
Sam chuckles and picks up his phone to call his girlfriend and goes near the window and Arjun goes to washroom for freshening up. Sam dials her number and call is connected but no one speaks.
Sam: Hi jaanu!! kuch bolti kyun nahi... are u ok?
He hears someone giggling at the other end and he guesses his girfriend's sister has received the call and he immediately disconnects the call.
He goes out and sits chit chatting with his and Arjun's dad.
Arjun gets ready and come out of the room and while passing outside Sameer's mom-dad's bedroom he sees Sameer's mom showing a photograph to Arjun's mom.
Arjun: kiska photo dikha rahi Hain Aunty aap Maa ko? ... mujhe bhi dikhaiye...
Sameer's mom(smiles): apni hone wali bahu ka...
Arjun: mujhe bhi dikhaiye na...
Sameer's mom(chuckling): nahi... tujhe nahi dikhaungi... (she keeps the photo in the drawer)
Arjun: Kyun?
Sameer's mom: bas aise hi... meri marzi... tu ja... Sameer tera intezar kar raha hoga...
Arjun pretends to leave but goes out and hides in Sameer's room again waiting for both the ladies to go out. Once he hears them going out, he goes and checks the drawer for the photo. He is surprised to see the photo. It was the same girl, whom he saw eating ice-cream in the mall. He felt a little disappointed but was happy for Sameer that he got such a beautiful and lovely wife. He keeps the photo back.
He goes out where everybody was ready and waiting for him. They leave for the venue.
The moment they enter the venue, Sameer's would be mother-in-law and father-in-law welcome them with Aarti and a Bouquet. They enter inside. Elders mingle with each other. Sameer and Arjun are together.
Arjun sees the ice-cream girl sprinting towards them. He is surprised to see the bride-to-be coming like this near the groom but he is shocked on what happens next.
She comes close to Sameer and tugs her hand in Sameer's arm and chirps happily and pulls him towards the dais where the engagement ceremony has to happen. Sameer signals Arjun to follow them.
Girl: Welcome Jiju... (whispers in his ears) dont worry... maine kisi ko nahi bataya ki aap didi ko "Jaanu" kehke bulatey hain... (giggles) how romantic... Didi bahut lucky hai...
Sameer is embarrassed about the phone call goof up. Arjun senses something wrong so he chips in.
Arjun: agar jiju ka welcome ho gaya ho to kya koi humein bhi welcome karega?
Girl: aapki tareef?
Sameer: Ye mera best friend hai Arjun... mere bhai jaisa hai... Aur Arjun... ye meri hone wali saali ji... Ms Roshni..
Arjun: Hi Roshni...
Roshni: Hi...
Someone calls Roshni and she guides Sameer and Arjun to the dais where they sit, and she leaves.
Arjun is confused and Sameer notices this.
Sameer: kya hua? koi problem hai?
Arjun: nahi... bas ek confusion hai...
Sameer: kaisa confusion?
Arjun: wo abhi ghar par Aunty meri Aai ko ek photo dikhakar boli ki ye unki hone wali bahu ka photo hai... aur jab maine chupke se jakar wo photo dekha to wo Roshni ka tha... to mujhe laga ki teri shadi ussey hone wali hai... isliye usko aise dekhkar thoda confuse ho gaya...ki Aunty isey apni honey wali bahu kyun keh rahi thi...
Sameer understands what has happened because he knew the truth.
Sameer(chuckles): Arjun... Meri Maa aur teri Aai ne kabhi... tujhe aur mujhe alag samjha hai kya? unke liye hum dono hi unke bete hain na?
Arjun: wo mujhe pata hai... par us baat ka Roshni ke photo se kya lena dena?
Sameer: Maa ne teri aur Roshni ki shadi ki baat chalayi hai... is liye wo teri Aai ko Roshni ka photo dikha rahi thi (looking at Arjun's mom)... aur mai Aai ke chehre ko dekhkar andaza laga sakta hoon ki unhe Roshni pasand hai... ab Roshni Maa ki hone wali bahu kaise huyi aur in dono baato ka kya lena dena hai ... ye tum Samjhe ya... Samjhaun? (winks at Arjun) (Arjun blushes)
Arjun's mom was noticing Roshni and smiling. Sameer was right, she had liked Roshni.
Someone again calls Roshni and tells her to bring her Didi. After 5 mins Rosh in enters with her Didi. Sameer is lost looking at her.
She was looking beautiful. His Jaanu... His Aisha...
Arjun is happy for Sameer.
Both Sameer and Aisha are made to sit on the dais. Sameer's Mom comes forward and puts a Red Chunari on Aisha covering her head and gives her some gifts. Aisha's parents too give some gifts to Sameer. Then they exchange the rings. And Roshni and her friends shower the rose petals on them.
After the ring ceremony, Arjun tries to flirt with Roshni but she foils his efforts and snubs him.
Arjun: Suniye...
Roshni: kahiye...
Arjun: aap ice-cream khatey huye bahut khoobsurat lagti hain...
Roshni had actually trying to remember where she had seen Arjun but since she was too much involved in engagement preparations, she forgot him. She suddenly remembers him as the shopping mall guy.
Roshni(in attitude): pata hai... aur kuch?
Arjun: aur... abhi bhi bahut khoobsurat lag rahi hain...
Roshni(understanding his efforts of flirting): mujhe ye bhi pata hai...aur kuch?
Arjun(annoyed with her attitude): Haan..aap khoobsurat to hain... par meri Aisha Bhabhi se zyada nahi...
Roshni makes a funny face and turns to leave. She doesn't want to stretch this conversation.
Arjun tries to make her jealous by trying to flirt with other girls showing it off to Roshni.
Roshni has a plan. She calls all her friends and tells the DJ to play a song.
The song starts and Roshni and her friends start dancing in Madhuri Dikshit style pulling Arjun to dance with them.
Arjun too is in playful mood. He joins them.

Sameer tells Aisha about the marriage alliance talks between Arjun and Roshni. She is happy know this and both of them are amused at the flirting and fun that Arjun and Roshni are having while dancing. They are looking cute as a couple.

Arjun and Roshni are holding hands and taking circles. Roshni loses hee balance and trips but Arjun is quick to support her. They come very close. Arjun smiles and Roshni blushes. She runs away. She too developed a liking towards Arjun. All thhrough the dancing he was flirting but never crossed his limits. He was a thorough gentleman.
By this time Arjun's parents have already talked to Roshni's parents and they too liked Arjun. Now for them just Arjun and Roshni saying "yes" mattered.
The ceremony ends and while leaving Arjun and Roshni look at each other and smile.
Now it was Aisha's responsibility to talk to Roshni and Sameer's responsibility to talk to Arjun. Sameer had already given a hint to Arjun.

In the night
Aisha' place.
Aisha's phone beeps. There is a message from Sameer. She reads it and smiles. Roshni comes from behind.
Roshni(hugging Aisha): Didi I'm so happy for you... aaj kitna mazaa aaya... Jiju kitne handsome lag rahey they...Tum bhi theek thaak hi lag rahi thi... par Jiju se zyada achchhi nahi ... (winks)
Aisha(teasing Roshni): Achchha!!! tumhe kaise pata Sameer handsome lag rahey they? kyunki ... tumhari nazar to kisi aur par thi (winks)
Roshni(shocked): kya matlab?
Aisha: Bano mat... saaf saaf dikhayi de raha tha... kaise tumhari nazarein nahi hat rahi thi... Arjun par se... ussey baat kartey waqt... uske saath dance kartey waqt...
Roshni(blushes and lowers down her eyes):aisa kuch nahi hai...
Aisha: Achchha... waise ek baat kahun... tumhare gaal abhi bhi waise hi laal ho gaye hain... jaise tab ho gaye they jab dance kartey waqt tum gir rahi thi aur usne tumhe pakad liya tha...lagta hai mera devar tumko pasand aa gaya hai...
Roshni blushes. She takes a comforter, covers herself and lies on the bed.
Roshni: Didi mai bahut thak gayi hoon... mujhe neend aa rahi hai... good night...
Aisha(pulls her comforter): Achchha... nahi pasand aaya? koi baat nahi... mai Maa aur Sameer ko bata deti hoon...
Roshni(gets up with a jerk): kya bataogi?
Aisha: Wo ... Meri Saasu Maa ne tumhare aur Arjun ke rishtey ki baat chalayi thi... to aaj Arjun ke parents ne... formally tumhara haath maanga hai Arjun ke liye...Aur Maa-Papa ko Arjun pasand aa gaya hai... par jab tak tum "Haan" nahi karogi... tab tak ye shadi nahi hogi... (Teasing her )Aur agar tumhe Arjun pasand nahi aaya to koi baat nahi...mai Maa ko bata dungi... tumhare liye hum koi aur achchha sa ladka dekhenge...Sameer se bhi baat kar loongi... ki wo Arjun ki family ko samjha dein... jisse ki unhe bura na lagey...
After completing this, Aisha takes her comforter and but before she could go under it, Roshni pulls it.
Roshni(pouts): Didi... aise kaise?...mujhe sochne ka time to do... aur fir waise bhi sirf Arjun ke parents ko mai pasand hoon... kya guarantee hai ki Arjun ko bhi mai pasand aaungi? usney Naa keh diya to?
Aisha: tum usey pasand ho (winks)
Roshni(confused): tumhe kaise pata?
Aisha: Abhi Sameer ke SMS mein likha tha

A Little while back in Sameer's room
Sameer: Tere Aai - Baba ne formally rishte ki baat kar li hai... Maa ne bataya mujhe... bas tere aur Roshni ke Haan kehne ki der hai...
Arjun(shocked): KYA?
Sameer: itna jhatka kyun laga? bataya to tha tujhe...
Arjun: bataya tha... par ye nahi pata tha ki aaj hi baat bhi kar lenge...
Sameer: To kya jawaab hai tera? (winks)
Arjun(blushing): sochne to de... aur fir wo kya sochti hai... ye bhi to important hai...
Sameer: tu aur wo... kya sochte ho... ye to aaj dance floor par dikhayi de raha tha... (grins)... kya Nain-matakka chal raha tha tum dono ka... (winks)
Arjun(blushing): aisa kuch nahi hai... i mean... achchhi ladki hai wo... sundar... smart... educated...
Sameer: ye sab mujhe pata hai... baat ko gol-gol ghumana band kar... aur seedha seedha bol... ussey shadi karega ya nahi?
Arjun: Kya Sam tu bhi na?
Sameer: Shadi k liye "Haan" ya "Naa"?
Arjun: Sam, meri baat to sun?
Sameer: "Haan" ya "Naa"?
Arjun: Sam...
Sameer: Arjun...
Arjun: Sam...
Sameer: Arjun...

Arjun: kya mai usey pasand aunga? kya wo Haan kahegi?
Sameer: Arjun... kya uske "naa" kehne ke darr se tu apne dil ki awaz nahi sunega?
Arjun is quiet.
Sameer: tujhe wo pasand hai ... right?
Arjun nods in "yes".
Sameer: to ek chance lekar dekh... agar wo "Naa" bhi hek deti hai to bhi at least tujhe ye to tasalli rahegi ki tune koshish ki... kahi aisa na ho ki tujhe baad mein ehsas ho ki ek baar tuney apne dil ki baat sun li hoti to achchha hota... kya pata... wo bhi shayad yehi soch rahi ho!!!
Arjun: u r right Sam... i like her ... and YES... I want to marry her...
Sameer is happy and hugs Arjun.
He immediately sends the message to Aisha that Arjun likes Roshni and wants to marry her and they wait for her response.

Aisha(teasing Roshni): Sameer mere SMS ka intezar kar raha hai... mai usey likh deti hoon... tumhe Arjun pasand nahi...
Roshni(annoyed): DIDI... maine aisa kab kaha?
Aisha: par tuney ye bhi to nahi kaha ki tujhe wo pasand hai... to iska matlab to yehi hua na... ki wo tujhe pasand nahi hai...aur fir waise bhi ... na to tere liye ladko ki kami hai... na uske liye ladkiyon ki... u know what... wo meri friend Nisha hai na... uski Maa Arjun ke bare mein poochhtaach kar rahi thi... maine suna... wo Arjun aur Nisha ke rishtey ke barey mein soch rahi hai...to..
Roshni(cuts her short): mujhe pasand hai... (hides herself under her comforter)
Aisha(teasing): kya kaha tuney? mujhe theek se sunayi nahi diya? (pulls the comforter off Roshni's face)
Roshni(blushing): Didi... please tang mat karo na...
Aisha(smiles): to bata doon Sameer ko?
Roshni blushes and nods in "yes" and again hides herself under the comforter.
Aisha sends the SMS to Sameer

Both the love stories are set. Sameer informs his and Arjun's parents and Aisha informs her parents about Arjun and Roshni's decision.
And elders decide to get both the couples married on same day.
