some 5 days later...

the students of DPSC college in mumbai were cursing the moment when they set foot in the college. they had not even thought in their nightmares that they had to face this in their living days.they looked at each other, where their own face of fear was mirrored in the others face. they turn to look at the persons in front of them.

their were 6 men, with heavy arms and ammunitions, going up and forth in the hall room. they were keeping an eye at them, the students, and also, talking to the radio transmitter they hold in palm. their body and attitude were so deadly, it was evident that these people wont hesitate to kill anyone.

at the exact 1 hour before, at 11 o clock, some gunmen entered in 3 maruti van, with guns and bombs with them, and a girl tied. they shoot the security guards of college, cut all the telephone lines and internet connections, and gathered all people in this hall room, including teachers and principal. there were at least 200 students and 18 teachers currently...some were lucky to ran away at the exact same time . their leader, a tall man with a face of cruelty, with the tied girl and another burkha lady with him, went straight on the principal's room, and operated all this thing from their. still it was unknown that why they are here, and what they want in ransom.

DPSC college, one of the oldest and prestigious college of mumbai. the students of here are the best in every field, including their bank balance. mostly the children from rich and influential families, and it had surely helped the terrorist gang to attack this college. till now, they had not made any contacts to the police or to media. they are keeping an eye on the situation currently.

the local police, media, the parents gathered in front of the college gate, which was now closed automatically from inside, all thanks to the gang. there were cries, pleadings, yells in the air, and in between all, the police were standing helpless. the seniors also entered the scene shortly after the news leaked in media, and team ETF also entered, with their acting head, arjun rawte. the situation was very emergency at the time.

2 hour passed, still there was no contact from inside. only the gang members were visible from a far corner, talking through their radio transmitter and pacing up and forth around the college building. the police and ETF team were talking about all possibilities, including the negotiation, when there was a sound from the DIG dustin's transmitter.

''is somebody there?'' a male harsh voice spoke through it, and everyone was suddenly attentively listening to it. there was dead silence in there.

the DIG took a deep breath, and said, ''yes, i am DIG dustin coelho. may i know to whom i am speaking?''

the male voice laughed, ''you always talk so politely with the criminals DIG, or i am the exception?''

everyone was getting impatient with each passing seconds. the male voice was suddenly serious.

''i am akram siddiqui...the son of razia siddiqui...whom your ETF team caught some days ago, right ACP arjun?''

arjun was not least bit surprise at the voice's knowledge. the presence of ETF was showing in the news channel, and also the gang members were keeping an eye at them. it was not any m,agic.

''right.'' he answered. the male voice now asked directlyt to him.

''so you must know my other identity too, right ACP?''

arjun's face hardened, so do others. they all know excatly what the man was going to say next.

''i am the cousin of Sikandar''

the all police member looked at each other . so now it is all cleared...the hostage thing, and what would be the demand of ransom. sikandar, the name which was the mirror image of terror, whom this very team ETF caught some 2 years ago...with the help of some unknown tip...now they had to handover him to them. the man is very good at this revenge thing. what a good way to mock them.

''so you all now know clearly what i want...bring me sikandar and my ammi, razia siddiqui, and i will let go of these innocent children.'' the man spoke playfully, but the strength was inevitable in his tone.

''do i need to say this if you guys try some trick to enter, i will kill them? no...now i am saying it. though its impossible to enter...still if you try, i will blast the college building, and also kill some students too.'' he said playfully again, and confidently. he had done his home work pretty well.

''look, the procedure will take some time.'' DIG started. the male voice cut him.

''i know...i have seen enough hostage movies. fine...take time. you have only 6 hours.'' and the voice was gone, and there was dead silence now.

the silence was soon filled with the earlier sounds, and team was busy to plan the next thing. DIG was calling higher authority for sikandar...and suddenly there was again the male voice on the line.

''hey DIG...did i mention i also have CM's daaughter? no...i did just now. hope it will help you guys to work faster.'' and again there was silence.

everyone stared for too long on the transmitter, waiting to hear again, but there was none. so all the missing puzzle fit together perfectly. CM's daughter kidnapping was happened for this hostage thing.he was using all the things against them...first children from rich influential families, now this. they had to work out something to make things right.

4 hours later...

the hostages were getting worried and scared with each passing seconds. they had heard the guards whispering that their leader had ordered them all to kill all the hostages after they get their ransom. they panicked more, but what could they do except waiting for their death? the guards were heavily armed, and they were helpless. now they can only pray to god for any miracle.

on the other hand, rihanna is with akram in the principal's office. ever since they entered here, akram had not left one second her and liza alone in the room. he was communicating with the guards from here, and keeping eye on the police outside through binoculers.rihanna was waiting impatiently for akram to leave them alone for a second, but time passed, and she had not got any chance. she was impatiently waiting, but no luck. then she got an idea.

she made an excuse for the washroom, and went outside of the office. though she was with akram whole the time during this planning, she can sense akram was not sharing everything with her, or the gang. he was keeping something with himself, and she had to figure it all as soon as possible. there is only 2 hours left, and she had to hurry fast.

akram sent 2 guards with her, who stood outside of the washroom. rihanna turn on the water tab, and typed something in her cell.after reaching here, akram took all the cell phones of them, including the gang members. she had to hide this one in her dress.

on the other hand, outside the college building, there was a argument occured between DIG and ACP arjun. the former was hell bent to release sikandar, he was not ready to risk so many people's life for that man. on the other hand, Arjun was not ready to give away sik so easuly. he wanted to go inside, and release all hostages. but it was impossible. they had secured all the entrances, including fire exits. there were at the dead end once again.

arjun abnged his fist on the bonnet of the car, and muttered to himself for the 100th time, ''there had to be another way.''

DIG was hell pissed on this man. he angrily blurt out, ''arjun, dont let your personal emotions overcome this matter.''

arjun gave him a look, while the other looked at each other with fear in eyes. DIG said calmly,

''many lives is at risk at this point. we have to think about releasing him.''

before anyone can say anything, chotu's phone rang, startling everyone. he muttered a quick sorry, and checked his phone. his eye brows narrowed, and he looked around to think what to do now. then without wasting another second, he went aside and call someone.

''yeh jo...'' he started but cut by the other voice.

''its the only way.''

chotu looked around, anyone is not noticing him, ''par main kaise...''

''find a way...and hurry up.'' and the line went dead.

chotu come back, where still the deadly silence were in the air. DIG got a call, and after sometime, he informed everyone.

''we are releasing sikandar.''

everyone was shocked, and arjun was more angry at the words. how could he...but its not the time. he quickly looked at the map of this college for the umpteeth time in the day.

the colelge building was very old, almost 90 years old. there were 4 entrance and 2 fire exits, which is now under tight guard of akram. he looked helplessly at the map...there had to be another way.

chotu said something, to no one in particular, ''yeh map to sirf 20 saal purani hain.''

everyone looked at him quizzically. arjun's eyes snapped at him. chotu gulped.

''mera matlab hain ki yeh to original map nahi hain.''

shree replied, ''to kya chotu? iss building mein zyada kuch to change nahi huya hoga, hain na?''

chotu licked his lips in tension, then mumbled, ''par humein to check karna chahiye.''

aisha also answered, ''chotu, mujhe lagta hain ki shree sahi keh raha hain...map ka design to same hi hoga na? ''

chotu struggled to say something more, but no words came out. everyone went back to their works, but arjun continued to stare at him...like there is some hidden meaning in his words.

''i want the original map...fast.'' arjun barked orders, and everyone looked at each other. shree opened his mouth to answer, but he cut him, ''now.''

after some 10 minutes, there was the original map of the college building. everything was similar to the new map. shree was right, everything was the same, almost.

arjun's sharp eyes caught something, and he smirked. there is always another way.

he called everyone , and said quickly.

''you guys are seeing this fire exit...'' he pointed to a door in the map, which was right under the parking lot of the college building, ''this was a secret passage from the british time. it was here in this old map, but its not mentioned in the old map. so...''

aisha asked, ''maybe they had closed this exit, thats why it is not shown in the new map.''

arjun continued to look at the map with hope, ''maybe, maybe not...but we have to check it.''

DIG peeped at the map, then his eyes fell on arjun's new hopeful face. arjun stared at him, silently wanting permission for this. he sighed, and said, ''we guys got only 1 hour before sikandar reaches here. do whatever you want...but one hour later, i have to hand over him. you guys have to hurry up.''

everyone looked at him first in disbelieve, then at each other. so its the time for action.

after some 5 minutes, the team were in front of the other door of this secret passage way. the passage was 2 km long, and it ends some 500 metre distance from the college. the place was deserted at the time, as the whole crowd was gathered in front of college building. there was 2 men with the ETF team, who was now welding this old iron made door. after some more struggle, they managed to open the door, and now the team was inside it.

''but how we will enter through the other door? we should have take them with us.'' shree said to none particular. arjun smirked.

''dont worry shree, we will enter with a blast.''

they didnt have to struggle more through the way. the passage was the home of rats, spiders, some bushes and much dirt, but they were going with good speed. also they were informing the DIG about their location. 20 minutes passed now, and they had to hurry up. there was no plan after they reach inside, how they will face them, or how they will free the hostages. this was a suicidal mission, and only their luck and instinct will help them to survive.

after some more minutes, now they are infront of the other door. this door leads to the parking lot of the college, and they are hoping that maybe there wont be anyone guarding that place. though its a disadvantage for them to attack from downstairs, but they had got no other option.and also the way they are going to enter, there will be guards in no time, they had to finish them off quickly and enter 1st floor before the gang touches any student or start their other plan.

arjun put a bomb on the old , big iron door, and the whole team went back some distance, and covered themselves behind the pillars. they counted from 1 to 10...and then there was a loud bang, and the iron door fell on the ground with much sound than required.the team came out of their hiding places, and looked at the door...and then towards the deserted parking lot...they got themselves ready for the action.

arjun heard akram's enraged voice, ''yeh apne sahi nahi kya bhabhijaan.''

she glared at him through her burkha, but he continued to blabber, '' humein pehle se hi laga tha ki koi to hain, jo humare team ka hissa ho kar bhi police ko madad kar rahi hain. par ye nahi socha tha ki humari bhabhijaan woh insaan niklengi...sikandar bhaijaan ki mangetar!''

arjun stared shockingly at the burkha lady. what? fiancee? sikandar's fiancee?

akram continued, ''ap hi ne humari ammi ko police hawale kiya, aur ap hi thi na, jisne ETF walon to iqbal ke bare mein bataya?''

the burkha lady's eyes turned amused from angry. she answered, ''actually, maine khud iqbal ko shoot kiya...aur maine hi police ko tumhare bhaijaan ke bare mein tip di. so the big round of applause goes to me for sending ur bhaijaan behind the bars.''

arjun was more shocked now. she sent that tip? okay...but who is this lady?

akram was now angry beyond measure. he clutched the gun more in his palm, about to smash it in his hold, ''why?'' he yelled in anger.
