Color drained from his face and he stood there still for a moment. It has been 5 years since that incident''I still get goose bumps every time I recall that incident.

Yy-yeah I am fine'he stammered. He composed himself and said, it's getting quite late now your parents must be concerned about you. Shree! He called.

Yes Sir..shree came towards his direction.

Drop isha home..he said.

Yes sir..shree replied. Shall we Ma'am?

She nodded and they sat in the car and left.

I walked toward my car. Got in grabbed a bottle of water and Gulped it.

Because I don't know what being in love feels like. I grew up in a family without love. My mother left me and my father when I was 5 . But I always wonder what being in love feels like'..

The phone rang breaking my chain of thoughts. I glanced at my blackberry and smirked.

Hi sameer..abhi khadoos se baat hui'usne kahan aaj hume mall mein duty karni hogi aaj v-day ki wajah se waha kafi rush hoga aur celebrities bhi hoge. So City Mall @ 10 a.m!

Mall? Seriously?

Sometimes I doubt am I a police officer or a bodyguard?

These early days are definitely going to be unforgettable!

I kept my phone on the table and made my way towards the room to get ready.

City Mall

9:45 am

I entered the mall. It was decorated in pink and white theme. The Baby pink and white fabric covered the ceilings and the walls. The escalators were decorated with the streamers and fairy lights and different shapes of balloons coordinating with the theme were scattered on the floor.

God the crowd is huge!

Looks like the whole city is here I sighed and walked towards my colleagues who was standing near a mobile store.

We were dressed in casuals so as to mingle with the crowd and to keep a watch on the activities. We divided our duties and went to our respective area covering the whole mall.

I reached the 1^st floor and started scanning the area quietly.

11:00 am

Sitting in the cafe and sipping my cappuccino. I could see a bunch of youngsters sitting and enjoying, teasing each other..a smile crept on my lips remembering my training days. We were the most notorious one's in our batch. Always on the hit list of our major, but he was not able to catch us red-handed ever I chuckled softly, I looked around a lot of activities were going on..

Okay, as we know we are here to celebrate Valentine's day with our special someone'he said with a smile. Guys we have arranged few games for you people so who would like to volunteer for our first game?

A girl and a boy from the group got up and walked in the host's direction.

My attention got diverted when I heard a sweet voice. I turned and what I saw made my heart skip a beat...<3

It takes 8.2 seconds to fall in Love-at-first site!

The moment I laid my eyes on her I knew this is it. I don't know how but I have this strong sensation rising in my chest making my brain go numb.

This is love'and this feeling'.it feels'.it feels like'..I am alive!

I was shamelessly staring at her. If she saw me staring at her she is definitely going to take me as a crazy stalker. Thankfully, she didn't.

Sir? Sir?? The waiter said.

Yeah? I almost shouted. Making heads turn to look at me.

I apologized and asked him what is the matter?

Sir, I just came to ask would you like to order anything? he replied.

Um..yeah one coffee please..thank you I said.

Sir? Which one hot or cold? He asked.

Hot , I replied feeling frustrated and then turning my attention towards the girl.

Sir? We have added some new cookies in the menu would you like to try them? He asked beamingly.

I gave him a "look" and he literally ran away.

Ahhh!

It feels as if I could watch and adore her for the rest of my life.

There she was sitting next to next my table. She was wearing a white off shoulder dress with a baby pink shrug. She was fair in complexion and had sharp features. Her eyes are very attractive. Her hair, they were mid-length dark brown in color flowing over her shoulder. She was engrossed in a book and she carefully tucked a lock of hair behind her ear which was disturbing her and sipped her coffee.

Her attention drifted from the book due to the sudden chaos.

I started walking toward the dais and took the guitar which was kept near the dais. The guy handed me the mic.

Hello everybody.Wishing everybody a very Happy Valentine's Day. My name is Sameer. I am going to sing the song Haal-e-dil. I paused for a while. Okay so, this song is dedicated to the pretty girl in white' 😳

She looked up at me in confusion. I smiled at her innocent beauty. Our eyes locked, and she gave me a smile which made my heart melt and then she looked away shyly.

She looked at me I looked at her but this time she didn't look away. She has those perfect eyes. The eyes to die for!

She had a lot of depth in her eyes. As they say eyes are the mirror of the soul, I could reach her soul through them. Though she was smiling all the time but I could see pain in her eyes which is piercing her heart.

The people were hooting and applauding. I could see more people coming in the caf hearing me singing. But the only thing that mattered that time was "she".

My eyes were on her.

She got up and started walking towards the door. Paused at the door for a moment and walked away without looking back.

I was taken aback. What happened? Didn't she like the song? Why did she walk away?

She didn't even look back once'..

I hurriedly finished the song and made my way through the crowd. I came out of the caf and looked around .I saw her getting down the escalator and she nearly reached the exit. I followed her but by the time I reached the exit she had already left the mall.

Damn it!

It feels like that feeling when you are this close of getting something you love and but you just lose it.

Sam'Sam''..Sameer a man shouted. I turned back to look at the person.

Sameer:[surprised] Arjun! Tu yahan? I hugged him.

Sameer: Kaisa hain yaar?

Arjun:[merrily] Main theek hu yaar tu bata?

We broke the hug.

Main bhi..aur bata roshni bhabhi kasie hain? I asked teasingly.

Madam bhi theek hain..he answered with a grin.

Aur yeh dukaan leke kahan jaa raha hain? I chuckled softly.

Aaj valentine's day hain na bas roshni ke liye thodi shopping kar raha tha..he replied.

We stared at each other for a while and then burst out laughing. Arjun's life has indeed changed after his marriage with roshni. Who can tell he is the same guy who once didn't even care to give a damn and now look at just him. I couldn't help but smile at my friend.

Saale! Has mat tere bhi din aayge..he said with a smirk.

I wish mere yeh din bhut jald aaye..I murmured dreamily.

Kuch kahan tune? He asked feeling confused.

Kuch nahi, I said feeling amused. 1 ghanta nahi hua mile hue aur yeh haal I wondered.

Chal ab main jata hu roshni ghar pe wait kar rahi hogi and then he left.

Leaving a utterly bewilder Sameer behind.
