The episode starts with a double murder in an apartment. ETF arrives there and investigates, when Chotu says that although it seems like there had been a robbery, but nothing valuable is missing. Then Rathore points out that an almirah has been moved out after seeing the signs of wall of dust. Arjun points out that the murderer is a girl as he smells ladies perfume on the couch. He says that the girl must have been waited as there is a difference in the killing time of Rupa and Sanjiv(I guess it was the name, not sure, if u know then plz tell me, I'll edit). Rupa and sanjiv were brother sister and then the almirah is found at their neighbour's jaydev home. Who tells them that he hasn't killed, but he had seen a girl who knocked at that night at his home and asked about Rupa and sanjeev's home.

ETF thinks that the girl who had knocked the door, must be the killer, so they search for her. They finds that the girl is Jaya Mehta, daughter of a rich businessman. Her sister Chandni Auja(both are twins) is in coma for last 15 days. On keeping an eye on jaya they finds that she has met Jayadev, a private detective to find out Sanjiv and Rupa. After interrogating jaydev they come to know that sanjiv and rupa were mehta's own children(he left their mother when they were born, she used to work in his office and both had an affair), and as mr. Mehta wanted to include them in their family, so jaya asked him to investigate about them more.

Jaya is arrested for their murder, but then the doctor who took care of chandni is looking at chandni at the bed, who isn't in coma. Then she tells him that their plan has been successful and poor jaya is in the police custody. Then ETF enters and it is revealed that it's not chandni on bed, but jaya. The whole lan unfolds now. Actually Chandni was never in coma, but she used to pretend as if she's in coma through drugs, and she killed her step siblings as jaya wanted them to be a part of the family and property. So to get rid of jaya and sanjeev and rupa she did this, as the blame will come on jaya.

So the creatives definitely watch Elementary, an American detective show that airs on CBS. It's basically a modern day adaptation of Sherlock Holmes (in fact it was CBS' attempt to do their own take on the British show Sherlock). This episode of Arjun was "inspired" by the second episode of Elementary called "While You Were Sleeping".

Hey at least it's not a bad show to rip off. 😆
