CT must be aware of this too - though he was nice to GJ and even advised Selvi not to go against GJ and that she shd learn to live with him happily blah..blah..blah.. ....yet if you have noticed he.declined to reveal his real name nor give his contact no.to GJ.😛

Nice commentary, Sue 👏 I too noticed CT remained guarded around GJ, even after revealing they were (supposedly) on the same side. And with Ganga already having contacted GJ to congratulate/partner with him, I would say there is a very real possibility that Arase is also playing a double game with GJ 😛

I have also compiled a quick list of what should be the official show chronology (but you would notice it is flawed!):

5.5.1955 - Arase is born

1973 - Arase, then 18 , gives birth to a daughter; Chelvi is adopted by Yogeswaran.

2004 - Events at the start of "Chelvi" serial begin. (We know this because the Dec. 26 tsunami takes place near the beginning of the serial; Niranjan is caught in it)

2005 - Some time after Chelvi meets her friend Thamarai, the latter falls into a coma. Chelvi is forced to marry GJ.

2006 - Thamarai wakes up after one year in a coma, the day after GJ and Chelvi consummate their marriage. Nine months later, Kaveri is born.

2007 - Events of "Arase" serial begin, as seen from Nallathamby's computer file on Arase, her age is listed as 52 (1955+52=2007). But around this time Kaveri is around 4-5 years old, but the show chronology would mean she is only one year old at most!!!

2020 - Kaveri grows up to be 14 years old. According to the show chronology this would be in 2020. But from the recent Malaysian episodes did you think Vision 2020 was achieved? 😆

whenever Arasi and KK argue abt Kalai, its more like a power struggle between them, rather than them actually worrying about their daughter 😆

i also thought Arasi would be playing a double game with GJ, but then she wouldn't be as cold hearted as to let her daughter think GJ was good, and make her happy, only to make it even worse for later, is she?

I felt very bad for kalai coz she was begging arasi to take her with her. KK and udhay cannot be with kalai all the time to protect her. Arasi should keep her ego aside and do what is best for her daughter.

I dont think Arase has ego regarding the Kalai matter, she did the right thing, by handover Kalai to the police( not that loser cops 🤢). KK wanted to save her and I dont blame him, but how long could they hide the fact? I dont think Kalai would have lived peacefully and with the guilty feeling rest of her life

Udhay is a ungratefull yerke and I cant stand KKs behaviour toward his wife and they way he turn his kids against her slowly 😡 Him being a lawyer and former judge goes against the law and rules when it comes to his own daughter..what about others who may have been innocents, but got punished??

About GJ, I do believe he only seeked help from Arase after Aish kidnapping matter - and this was his chance to get back on NT..why would CT otherwise kinapped her from GJ to get treatment for her secerely?? 😕

@ brinny arase cannot be playing a double game. remember she tells selvi to come and meet her when she gets to chennai??? maybe she will plan the capture of ganga (selvi would help to avenge mahi) to trap ganga!!

Radhika shd look at herself in the mirror before playing the part of a 25 year old woman.. Again I feel it could have been 25yrs since she has been looking out for her dad when she realised that she was adopted by pada-pada and hubby - let's say she was15 yrs old then - which makes her 40 now and Arase 58 respectively... - Arase does look like she is knocking into her 60's. 😆😆

Friends...I saw the above episode and yes it so very misleading - in fact earlier after reading the update I just wanted to give the benefit of the doubt to Selvi's dialogue...😃

It started off with Dr. Saro narrating her "friend's" sob tale which happened some 25yrs ago. At first I thought that she was just giving a figure just to start off her kathai - then Selvi said that if her dad were to come back after 25yrs she would not accept him giving all her reasonings - (a) that he shd have taken her away from Arase if she was unable to take care of her and he shd have taken the task upon himself to look after his child (Selvi), (she is only talking about her feelings but failed to think in what situation her dad could have been) (b) if he was married then he shd not have even got married and set-up another family of his own elsewhere but concentrated only on bringing her up (I think she is being selfish here) (c) her adopted dad left her after finding her biological mum (Arase) and that if he was her own dad he wouldn't have left her stranded, (d) her married life is a failure ( its still is woman!!).😡and if her dad was around he would have made sure she has a good married life. (e) her mum Arase having her own family didn't wish to disrupt the harmony there thus refused to accept her and (f) finally she said likewise 25yrs had passed on and so far her dad did not make a single effort in seeking her.

Mdm Radhika pls do proper calculations before telling us your tale – we are not the same crowd from your dad, M.R. Radha's era and pls. do not be under impression that we forget what we see…..Kavari is 14yrs and Selvi is 25yrs - an age difference of 11yrs....romba nalla calculation..!!😆😆

Unless...she meant to say that 25yrs has gone by since she has been waiting (at age 10yrs) for her dad to appear at her door steps..!!👏
