Maya waits anxiously to see Raja with Anjali watching her face keenly. Raja comes in and Maya can't suppress her emotions. He tells Anjali that he was reluctant to come here because of adverse reactions from ashok/chak. She replies that athai Maya only wanted to see him.
Maya holds her hand to touch him and Raja is perlplexed. Anjali indicates that maya wanted to hold his hands. The scene is seen by Chak's secretary hidden.

The mood becomes very emotional and Raja says he never believed such a sensitive person is here in this house. He calls her like a mother and says he did not have a mother and always yearned for a mother even though brought up by his "athai".Now anjali tells him to call Maya as mother and he says 'mother" to the delight of Maya. Now he takes out temple prasadham and anjali tells him to apply kungumam on maya.He is about to apply it when he is thrown to the ground by Ashok who abuses Raja and asks him why he came here and Ashok asks whether he came secretly top meet Anjali.

Anjali tells repeatedly that he came only to meet Ashok but he hammers Raja and finally he is thrown out. Maya is shocked at the scene and starts foaming at her mouth.

Babu looking to get Rs.10000 asks his nurse SILwho insults him. He does not ask his brother who says he might have given some idea had he been asked. Now he asks Thilaka who spins a story and leaves. He tries with his father but finds to no avail.
Finally his mother comes running and he asks her the money. When she says she does not have the money, he asks her whether she can keep some jewellery on loan and get money. She says she only has her thaali left and if required she can pledge her thaali and get the money. Babu says he need the money to save another woman's thaali from coming down and does not want to see his mother's thaali being affected in this.

Doctor comes to see maya and is shocked that her BP has gone up so suddenly that she got the fits. She tells Ashok that Maya should not be made tense otherwise later more problems might happen. Yamuna who is sitting there, takes the blame on herself saying she came late and there was a argument between her and Maya.After the doctor leaves, Ashok fires the telugu servant as to why she did not alert him about Raja. She says she wanted to tell that but before that the secretary had already told to ashok,she says.Now the secretary says he enquired with the guards and was told that anjali had told them to let Raja in. Now Anjali again asks her and she says Raja came to meet Maya only. Ashok asks her why he had to meet Maya? Anjali is unable to answer.
Now Ashok asks her to come to the bedroom but she refuses saying you always think about that only.He says it is not like that but she sits by Maya's bed side and refuses to come.

Ashok sees his father talking to someone just outside the house.Chak talks to the astrologer inside his car. The astrologer asks him for his share because he has waited for too much time.He tells Chak that you publicily declare ASnjlai as Maya's dauhter and then transfer all the property to her and later take it back. Chak says stil he has not got the will yet and hence he can't do a thing.
The astrologer now presses his head and says someone is listening to our conversation.
Chak looks back and sees Ashok behind the car and is shocked.
