Parag denies betraying his son , he would have taken over the institute that he was planning to study. Prem refuses to trust his dad as he had betrayed earlier too . Moti baa asks Prem to stop accusing his dad Parag. Moti baa asks Prem to stop worrying. This is not the end of the world, they could try again. Rahi shares her disappointment . Moti baa asks her to consider it destiny n move ahead . Anupama arrives and states that Prem n Rahi were not allowed to move ahead . Someone has purposely clipped their winds, shattered their dreams . Anupama recollects her own shattered dreams . Anupama laments that same thing was happening to Rahi . Sasuraal always controls their bahus since ages. Moti baa confronts Anupama and blurts out that she should not be accused . Prem then gives promise to Moti baa to speak the truth ..if she had received that IV call letter . Moti baa is cornered . She reveals the truth . She had received that IV call letter, she had read it , she had burnt it . Everyone is shocked . Prem accuses Moti baa that he had burnt their relation ship, burnt his trust . Prem is heartbroken so is Rahi . Gautam feels Prem n Rahi deserve this only , they deserve to rot in Anu ki rasoi n cook .
Anupama and Moti baa have confrontation . They discuss sasuraal, maika rights n duties , bahu and damaad rights n duties , shattered dreams of bahus , betrayed bahus .,Anupama expresses her anguish that bahus are restrained and their dreams shattered. Prem fights for Rahi and her dreams , her ambitions . Rahi then confronts Moti baa for shattering her dreams . Rahi regrets not believing her mummy who had warned her . Moti baa retorts back that what ever she did was for family ‘s welfare and prestige . She did not want Kothari family’s bate bahu work with third class family , in third class Anu ki rasoi or toil in some third class kitchen in Mumbai .
They deserve to be the heirs of Kotheri family, work in the finest establishments , in Kotheri business and not be the slave of Anupama . He should. It become jour ka Ghulam and saas ka Ghulam . He should take over Kothari business.
Moti baa accuses Prem of giving importance to wofe, sass, their dreams and their business but he is blind towards his own family, his father , his father’s business and his father’s dreams . Prem was like a slave at Shah house. The shahs treat their dog coffee better than Prem .
Moti ba then lashes out at Anupama for talking too much at her daughter’s sasuraal . Moti baa disapproves of bahu working out side . She speaks poorly of working women .
Anupama then retorts back , she accuses women of being the biggest enemy of women. She disapproves of Moti baa wanting bahus to remain indoors, to remain under Moti baa’s control . To remain subservient to their sass Uma, to their husbands , to revolt against wrong doings and tortures by their husbands .
Anupama confronts Moti baa for her despicable mindset . Ba the reprimands Anupama for fighting with Daughter’s sasuraal . What happens at Kotheri house is their business . Who is Anupama to interfere in their matters ? It’s their house whether to make their bahu work or not it’s their business .
Anupama lashes out at Baa for supporting Moti baa, she is trying to cover up her own wrong doings . Baa has shattered all Anupama’s dreams ever since she become bahu. She has shown her disapproval and bad mouthed her when she worked t school, worked at Anu ki rasoi, worked at restaurant in America, worked t Anuj’s firm, worked at Dan e academy worked at Gurukul, worked at Asha Bhavan , baa has never supported Anupama . Now she is supporting Moti baa for having the same views .Anupama is disgusted with the backward mindsets of both Moti baa and Baa . She accuses Moti baa of giving false assurances to Rahi before marriage n betraying her after marriage . She has betrayed her own grandson too.
