The most likeable people in the show Rakhi and Maya

Yaar I miss Rakhi Ji a lot. She was a complete package- a witty woman with money, beauty, class, brains and a heart of gold yet unfortunately she hid her deep pain behind her snarky exterior. Her character could have decided to take an initiative to divorce and go ahead with it. Only then Kinjal would have followed suit. After she opened up about her pain and became softer, makers knew she would outshine Maa therefore they kicked her out. Instead, makers could have made her Anupamaa's mentor who actually makes her realise that Baa Bapuji are phrauds and helps her to take away Samar and Pakhi from Shah phamily. Rakhi Dave had web series potential but she was reduced to a lackey of Maa Mahaan ki Badi Bahu.

Other character I liked was Maya. Her arc in the show was abysmal but her backstory was tragic and her end was brave. She was a village girl who ran away to marry her boyfriend, only to be abused by him and his aunt but she ran away and left her kid somewhere safe, away from horrible suffering she endured. She came back as a strong woman and made many people like her independent. She even started a modelling company. She came back for the kid and was willing to die for the loved ones of kid. Maya deserved a proper story in between yet she outshined Maa. I am glad that her legacy will rule and Maa's legacy will be either supporters or weak haters.

Honorable mention to Samar Shah who always knew Vanraj Shah was a terrible crook and ended up living and dying a loyal son in spite of Sagar ruining his storyline.

Rakhi Ji is my favourite character in the show even though I started watching the show a bit late. Part of mistake lies with Anupama for supporting Kinjal's blind love for Toshu. Anupama should have taken a leaf out of her Marathi counterpart's book by convincing Kinjal not to marry Toshu. But she did the complete opposite here. Anupama should have given a tight slap on Toshu's cheeks and should have reprimanded Kinjal for going against Rakhi Ji's wishes. She had emotionally manipulated Rakhi Ji by telling that "Her daughter will hate her if she disagrees to Kinjal's wedding with Toshu".

We had seen that Kinjal was cheated by Toshu. Anupama shamelessly lashes out at Rakhi Ji by saying "Even though she gave birth to a daughter, she could not become a mother" (After the resort drama).

Anupama has been successful as an "Unpaid Maid of sadakchaap Shah Family" but a failure in her professional life and a big failure as a mother.

RD has been the best mother in this show.
