A good script indeed presents a challenge to excel, but I’ve never felt he was as exceptional as everyone claims. Initially, when Anuj was introduced, he was better than average and did give some good performances, especially after CA left with Maaya.

However, it's not just the script and dialogues; the direction must also be strong. A skilled director can extract a stellar performance even from a novice. Among this cast, I feel Alpana Buch stands out as truly talented. While I don't particularly like Baa's character, her emotional scenes sometimes make me feel sympathetic towards her. In contrast, I never felt that way about Anupamaa, even in the early episodes, mainly because of the acting.

How about this?

Scenario: 1

Anuj is admitted to the hospital after the accident and then goes home to check on Adhya. He finds a note from Adhya and presumes she must have gone to Mumbai, India back to the orphanage since that is the only other place she knows. Adhya, after the fiasco at Kapadia Mansion and Devika's "maasi"ness, leaves the house and meets with an accident and succumbs to it. She would have called Barkha-Ankush (who are in India and presumed dead) on the way and since theirs is the last dialled number, when she is taken to the hospital, they call Ankush-Barkha. Ankush-Barkha, receive Anuj's call and inform him about what happened and while they are on the way to the airport, they too succumb to an accident.

Anuj who is neither able to reach Ankush-Barkha nor his daughter goes mad.
