I wish Anupama had " I am sure if no one will come, but Anuj will come no matter what!!!"

But she has failed to understand Anuj. I feel he understands her very well and that was the reason he basically gave up in the second half of their marriage and let the Shahs run amock in his life.

But Anupama I feel never really catches on what Anuj wants deep down. She is so preoccupied with the Shahs and what she feels are her so called 'responsibilities' she never really grasped a proper understanding of Anuj

That is also what caused the disconnect between them. That and of course her ego that she can do everything and anything to perfection. While Anuj just wanted her to make a life for herself with a little space for himself and Adhya. Anupama is hell bent on ruining her life for others.

I still remember the episode post them getting together. It was Holi and she was making sweets for Shah House despite not even being a resident anymore! He very calmly explained to her that she should value herself and stand up for herself but all she did was think he was being adorable.

Agar Anuj ne kaha hota, chalo me bhi Baa ke gujiya banata hu toh sab samaj aata isko. But usne kaha tha ki mat karo Anupama toh aankhe badi karke usko pyaara bol toh diya but andar kuch gaya nahi.

And that habit snowballed into bigger problems during and post their marriage

Anuj wanted to be with Anupama.He came for her she even did not know him. over last 26 years in anupama mad love but Anuj thanks God for having anu in his life as his wife.Anu ka valentine's day par Anuj ke 26 Saal purane Red Rose aur mummy ke kangan ke sath purpose shaadi ke liye.He cried and waited for a woman for 26 years.Anuj stole those magnets from anupama as a memory Anuj wanted again and again to see Anupama. the fact that Anuj only wanted to start a family with Anupamaa.anuj is the one who stay unmarried and wait for Anupama. It was his luck that Anupama got divorced and he got a chance to share his feelings .

The thing is anupam never truly loved anyone but herself only . She only remember her loved ones when she is struggling otherwise she only cares about herself and Shah's . Even toshu was right that anupama doesn't love anyone . She always talk s alut women empowerment but if she actually knows self respect then she wouldn't be suffering and probably adhya anuj and knta maa could have been happy . She knows how much Anuj loves her that's why tkses advantage of his kindness and used him for her benefits . When Anuj told her truth bombs she realised that Anuj koh sab uski chalo ka pata chal chuka hai toh woh use abandoned ker ke bhaaag gayi

I don’t agree. Anuj claimed that he loved Anupama with all her baggage. He married a woman with 3 adult kids, just because he waltzed into her life, her responsibilities and duties as a mother to her 3 doesn’t end or miraculously disappear.

Anuj might be a romantic, but he has been in love with the fantasy of Anupama, not the real her. He left her to run after little Anu when her birth mother took her. He cut off relations with Anupama then and returned when he wanted to, he wanted to play house with Anupama, him, her and their little girl like they were in their 20s, forgetting that he was married to a woman in her 40s who had pre-existing relationships and responsibilities.

Anuj accused her and Anupama left. He found Shruthi and is in a live in relationship with her. Adhya, his daughter, is a manipulator who he has not raised well. Let him leave Anupama well alone and live his own life, if he wants to play Majnu, he should from afar. Do not hurt the poor woman again. She is a grandmother many times over now, she has many more strings attached to her heart, she cannot be expected to cut all her heartstrings and run after this man who has not grown up.

Habits of decades cannot be cut off easily. They were her family and her kids still resided in that house. She is not 18 or 20 that left mayka for love. Anuj is no 20 year old either and should have had the sense when he married her to realize he was marrying all her responsibilities.

Her fawning on Ba now in Amerika is no one’s business but her own. She has lived with Ba from the age of 18 to 40, abusive relationship maybe but still a long standing one that cannot be chucked.

What about Anuj’s transgressions? Living with Maya for months ignoring his wife? What about his live in relationship with Shruthi while he apparently is still pining for Anupama? Better for him to leave Anupama in peace and carry on his duplicit activities with Shruthi. His daughter who he has raised poorly will surely be happy and that is all Anuj ever wants is to make Adhya happy at whatever cost.

What Anuj did with Maya was wrong. What he was doing with Shruti is wrong.

But two wrongs don't make a right

Just because Anuj did wrong things does not automatically change what Anupama was doing and continues to do. Which is having an unhealthy attachment to her abusers.

Seriously the woman is in jail because she refuses to learn who is and who isn't good for her.

I love Anupama fans, on one side they claim she was victim of abuse but then want her to serve same abusers and no one should question them.

Also the blatant double standards where husband should be a unquestioning slave serving wife and wife can never be answerable and need not support husband or his family

Anuj's transgressions were a REACTION, when a wife doesn't love and abandons husband, husband will seek solace elsewhere . When someone slaps you 10 times and you slap back once, no one blames the second person.

Anuj might have poorly raised adhya but Anupama is a bhagodi who left her small daughter and ran away. This is wrong both morally and on eyes of the law but of course the andh bhakts don't care.

Apparently Anupama bhakts think husbands are just slave and wives have no responsibility to husband and family and no one can question them. A wife has no responsibility to her husband or kid and can just be obsessed with exes.

Anupama bhakts just want husbands to be slaves while wife can run away from all responsibilities, leave small kids, be obsessed with exes and no one can question them or react to them.

It's the ultimate fantasy, where you have a rich, boy toy you can use and throw and go and coddle with exes as much as possible. It's shows more about their own morality than anything else.
