Anupama : The official murderer of Hindi and English words.

Alpana Buch who plays Baa is also characterised like an illiterate traditional Gujrati DIL but still the I never found her cringe. Baa is less educated than Anupama bur still she speaks English with correct accent.

That’s called improvisation my friend! Actors add their personal touch and improvise the scenes and dialogues, once it’s liked or applauded by audience same keeps repeating to the point it starts to annoy you, same is happening here.

Those O curled lips, that stammering and Suri looked good in initial days when she was actually a victim, now she has turned into a big time abuser and manipulator, so all that she does to look cute and innocent comes across as overacting and very annoying. And that Suri and Thenk you is her trademark style, marte dum tak ye nahi sudhregi, infact jo sudhre hue hain unko bhi apne jaisa bolna sikha degi, imagine Dadi Maa teaching Naate Poti - suri bolo, thenk you bolo

Not just Hindi and English, but Gujarati also. She is literally mouthing phrases incorrectly. The distinct style of speaking can't even be correlated to any of the variations in dialect. Very bad job by the actress in this regard.

This is why long running shows are such a curse for actors. Playing the same character for so long completely stifles an actor's skills and range. The acting becomes routine. You become physically and mentally exhausted and then just act on autopilot, its easier to keep doing the same thing again and again without thinking.

Its so different from western way where you only have few episodes per season/year(so you only shoot for 3 months in a year and rest you are free) and then even greatest shows end in 8 to 10 years. They get paid way way more and have freedom to end and go to new different shows and movies.

ITV mafia treat actors like slave and will never allow this.
