Which character has the worst led down in this show

Anuj kapadia - the man who can read people mind but he turned out to be puppy infront of maaya

Kinjal- at least anupama divorce vanraj which kinjal never able to do , left her mother alone

Kavya- she used to be annoying person ,but she had change of heart but then makers ruined her

Samar - no words

Dimpy - don't know what happened to her ??

Least to most let down,

Kavya: what she is doing was mildly expected. During EMA, she was always seen longing for a family, being V's wife, having kids and most of her outbursts and conspiracies have been because the transition was not smooth. Now that she is accepted and has Anupamaa supporting her the most, she has no reason to have unnecessary grudges

Dimpy: She always showed signs of not being able to handle a family like the Shahs and often refused Samar's proposals while he continued to pursue her. She would have been happier at KH or probably in a nuclear family and would have acknowledged Anupamaa from a distance. With conflict of interest, she has become an ahsan faramosh now but I am not surprised.

Samar: Again, expected. He is Anupamaa Putra after all. He can try being rebellious temporarily thinking if Pakhi and Toshu can, why can't I? But immediately recoils to his people-pleasing, soree soree, Shah-pleasing attitude.

Kinjal: Technically the most wasted character but not the most shocking. Her transformation happened very organically. Anupamaa showed her a life that she had never led and she stepped in to experience the exotic, without understanding how regressive it is. Now she is a Jack of all trades, with her career nowhere close to her mother and her spouse cheated on her nevertheless, but she is already delusioned that what she has is an ideal family and possibly only some harm to Pari can change her opinion (unlike Anupamaa, an EMA didn't help)

Anuj: The most shocking flip. There was no reason for him to be shown adopted. He could have been a bio child and his lack of regard for his father's business empire and his sister's safety for the sake of his teenage obsession could have just been termed entitlement of the silver spoon. What we saw was downright betrayal.

• Money flown out like water for the slightest inconvenience Anupamaa faces,
• Out of turn Gifts camouflaged as loans
• Business and professional ethics highly compromised and his foster family's business brand name risked,
• Hard core nepotism by hiring people only Anupamaa likes, whether they are qualified or not,
• forgiving people as per Anupamaa's convenience,
• breaking Indian civil and criminal laws like biscuits to keep his lady safe and so much more.

Anuj Kapadia makes the worst case for adoption.

I agree with all except Kavya. Her becoming devi bhakt isn't as big a let down as the others.

Majboor isn't even worthy of any respect. He lacks self respect and dignity and is in a race to become male Anupamaa. Padhi likhi Anupamaa is also the same, who only aspires to be next gen Mahaan maa and devotee of Baa bhagwaan. Both of these characters have massively degraded. Winter has become inconsequential since the earlier actor left. Don't see any traces of what he was before. Dumpy character arc is also twisted and illogical. Can understand her having issues with Tamashahs but why she became so anti Anupamaa/ungrateful didn't make a lot of sense, when the latter had only supported her till then.

Anupama Shah - from a bechari, lachar naukrani of the Royal Shah household who would get no appreciation to a mad Devi obsessed with Bhashans, being a MAA, Pallu and Tamashah

Samar. He was very sensitive to others feelings earlier and outspoken about wrong even if the doer was his family (Dad or siblings). He was loyal to almost a fault.

I find him uncaring , rude and confused now.

A world famous business tycoon, multi billionaire was so majboor that he had to leave his emotionally unstable sister with a cheater instead of taking some action.

He is so so majboor that anyone can enter his house, hold his collar and shout at him, threaten his family but he can't do anything..yeah he is majboor

He can slap a teenager but cannot say anything to a person who was playing with emotions of his sister and now has eye on his wife.

Bro, agar ek billionaire itna majboor hai, toh middle class aur gareebo ka kya hi hoga bolo.

Second, kinju baby

Both kabadiya and kinju baby apni family ko chor kar baaki sabke sage hai

Kinju baby ko baa ki knees, baapuji ka heart fail na ho jaaye, sasur ke emotions ki chinta hai, par apni maa ki jara bhi nahi..haa jara bhi nahi.

Anupama is a letdown because her journey was promised and given the public response to the show, one cannot say that the audience is regressive. I know some of my friends who watch this show out of habit now and not due to any hope of seeing any journey Anupama will take. Her journey of self-prioritization, to learn to say NO, to be able to do things she loves to do has been so compromised. She need not become the wealthiest lady on Earth or marry the richest guy. Her journey was or rather should have been about being a happier person, unlearning to stuff more responsibilities than she can bear, and perhaps even inspiring her children to become more responsible and independent in life.

Anuj Kapadia was always a letdown. The day he accepted Anu's business proposal, his business sense came into question. Add to it that the hotel/restaurant has never been shown to be working. At least, the cafe was run by these people and they did it for their own expense, not as a favor to society😆. Just like Anupama he never responded to Baa's insults unless she went after GK.😆 But then there is only so much he can do. He does not drive the story. He continuation to be in love with Anupama is equivalent to sacrificing his self-respect as Anupama has already sacrificed hers. Now what do u do? She can't leave Shahs, u can't leave her. So u have to stick around😆 The only time Anupama and Shahs somewhat remain within limits & focus on themselves instead of poking their nose in each other's business, is when he goes all out in anger and there is a threat that he may slip off..🤣 Otherwise, his personality does not influence people rather he ends up getting influenced by Anupama (in fact everybody does). The irritating part is Anupama has not become the kind of character people should be influenced by. That's why when her waah waah happens, it becomes annoying.

So far he has asked thrice from Anupama to draw lines between her and Shah family and every time she finally decides to start saying NO, a health emergency happens and everything goes back to square one. Then everything starts from the beginning until MaAn again get overwhelmed with responsibilities and then again a line is drawn, a health emergency happens and the cycle continues.

Now he doesn't even seem to be asking to draw the line either. He is not even interested in knowing why Vanraj came to meet his wife late at night calling it as a Mayke ka conversation. 😕 He is on his way to become a Zen. 😆 He got what he chose so it's ok. 😆

Kinjal is another letdown. Her behavior towards her mother is as abominable as Pakhi's. What's more problematic is that she is glorified. She dragged Anupama and made her life difficult, when more than Anupama her own mother was better capable of simplifying things .... The character which I perhaps despise more than any other character in the show. 👎🏼

For me, It's Anupa. She could've actually been the iconic character that makers claims to be, instead she turned out to be "sare fasaad ki jad"
