Its good anupama is going to college

But honestly i think she cannot cope with the college education that too finance toughest subject of world

First anupama do not know basic english how will she read profit loss and balance sheet or other statements and find errors or guide others in company

Second nowadays college give admission with cut off like 90% or max 80% no one lower get admission in good college

Pakhi college looks good one so they have cut off and entrance which going by anupamas english i doubt she will ever qualfy

Its not 1990s where college would give admission to even 40 marks holders or those who do not know english and basics of subject they plan to study

Even those who got 90 marks need coaching nowadays for BE, BCOM, MBA as they cannot pass otherwise

I know people who are going to tution for MBBS after getting admission as doctor to pass as they keep failing many subjects again and again

Even BE subjects, MBA subjects or BBA, BCOM tutions happen in mumbai, bangalore etc and tution fees is high

Going by anupama ability she require tutions in every subject english, maths, finnace, accounts etc

Will anuj teach her? Even if he teaches i doubt she will just pass as finnace is very tough subject

Physics, fiinance and electronics are toughest subjects

People who pass MCom, CA do not really understand errors in finnace sheets in big big companies

So anupama finding those errors or advicing error will take lot of efforts

This all does not come in 3 years of BCOM study or 4 years of engineering

Out of 100 software engineers only 10 can code properly in big IT companies they take 7 to 8 years exp to write proper code with lot of training(in top 5 companies not other smaller It cos)

Same way for finance they require 10 years study and 10-15 years exp to know or guide others

90% BE students will not get job in iT company because they are so bad in coding english etc even after doing BE/MTech degrees

All these degree are of no use 90% do not know ABC of the subject they study in india forget working on that

So anupam agoing to college is paper tiger without knowing english or maths or accounts she may pass because teachers may be liberal in correctuions or she will by heart and write exam but working is diff

In work spot you cannot by heart and go finance and find errors or problems like in college

In indai just to show 100% marks they pass most in school and than 50% in college

OP literally said TODAYs world, not during our fathers time. Things have changed everywhere from that time

Aj Kal kahin bhi paper mein Jo likha Hota woh dono English aur Hindi mein dono language mein likha Hota Hai

Even English technical words ko Hindi technical word mein translate Kiya jaa sakta hai

Aur Hindi board me bhi Jo technical word hote hai unka English translation bracket mein likha Hota Hai

To Jo Hindi medium mein bhi khuch word English mein likhe hote specially technical word

Language cannot be barrier to move forward in life

Even if anupama has problem understading technical word she can keep dictionary with her always and Anuj is there help to understand technical word

Anupama education will be like 90% BE who have degree but no real knowledge

By reading dictonary or just understanding whats account payable or capital budgeting meanng tyou cannot undersatnd if some error in balance sheet or ghotala(using lay man terms) is done in money in company.

Because of anupama kind of employees in banks only most banks are having bad loans and ghotala because they only know dictionary meaning of finance or banking do not know abc of anything related to real finance or financial management in india

Same with 90% BEs they know what is class in java do not know abc of coding or algorithm writing etc even after BE degree or Mtech degree

Knowing something is different truly understanding a subject and finding where error and ghotala happening and stopping it is something else - thats knowledge

Most indian college holders only have degree no knowlegde of anything in their subjects (even teachers are same hardly 20% understand subject they teach)

That is why company have to train them for years to get them to write a code or so much bad loans there in banks

anupam amy understand maths or accounts a bit its literal meaning by dictoniary but she can never find ghotala if it happens in finance or company or in financial statements - for that you take 10 years of education in finance and 15 to 20 years of experience working in that field. That is why finance head is always 30 plus years exp and CEO is also 30 plus exp so he or she understand well what is right and wrong

By doing BCOM/Finance course anupama can never understand international laws or whether finance ghotala happening in company by any employee. That requires anuj or ankush kind of experience and education in life

Somewhere this serial and in general TV/movies india make mockery of education or educated by showing quickfast education or noodle kind of one minute courses. In real life person studies 12 years school 5 years pre college(11th 12th degree or BE) plus 2 to 3 years of master courses CA or master degree(MCA/MBA/CA) and 20-30 years exp in company job(which anupama has zero) only than someone can become CEO or owner of company (like ratan tata, azim premji) in a big company atleast

Like you have to study 20 years than work 25 years to become CEO or owner of company in todays time not like anupama noodle one min education or no exp in that field

What if watching this serial these big company honchos wife say make me CEO of company anupama has become will any great business man do? Only if they want to come on roads they will

that is problem anupama never takes initiative herself someone must push her to do anything

be it divorce to vanraj

or moving out of vanraj home after divorce (anuj)

or going to job (samar)

or go to college reunion(devika)

or to learn 3 month finance course

or to fall for anuj(hasmukh)

without push and hand holding she cannot do anything in life

at 45 you are expected to atleast do these things on own no pushing by hasmukh, samar, vanraj, devika

shes like a 10 year old kid who needs prodding and pushing to do anything

on own she will never do anything

Anupama ko job nahi chahiye. She needs training in business that is well established. Usko balance sheet nahi dekhni hai, usko long term decisions lene hai, kaun si deal profitable hogi, kaun si nahi.

Mukesh and Anil Ambani dono brothers hai, unko same education mila. Phir bhi 1 brother is more successful than other. Real world is more than marks.

I agree that they are showing Anu as too perfect and capable of doing everything and anything.
