Kinda liking that none of the shahs have totally regressed back to be formulaic “Shahs = problem & main plot of show.” Although, using the monumental bg music (yano the “aaah ahhhhh ooh ahhhh” + orchestra) at high volume is unnecessary bc the moments aren’t that moving 🫣 it’s become the modern day 50 camera zoom

Episode 613: Totally filler episode - RD is back with fire and taunts:) Totally Baa/Anu/RD rest all watching in semi circle

Anupama takes the mop and mops Rakhi Dave's sandles, tells her not to wear outside shoes inside, especially when bapuji is moping, some tu tu mai mai between them all. Anu proceds to mop, baa tries to stop her but Anuj says, there's no problem cleaning your own home!

Rakhi taunts the bade gharki bahu doing pocha - and says her 'sources' told her about the grahpravesh taunts to baa/bapuji by her jethani. Kinjal stops her and tells her that her sources didn't tell her what followed or she doesn't want to acknowledge it!

She also prceeds to tell RD that she just came back from a sleepover at her Anu mom's after having a fun time - RD just rolls her eyes unable to give any other retort.

Anuj gives bapuji the cremrolls and Anu says she brought lunch as well (toshu told Anu that K/V are not there) Baa just rolls her eyes (ungrateful woman)

Rakhi rings a bowl for attention and announces kinjal's God Bharai next day!

Everyone is just shocked including kinjal, arguments ensue, why so quickly, they don't have time to prepare, why RD did not ask Baa (who is an elder) etc etc RD says it's the best mahurat and she has hired best event mgmt and everything will be handled immediately, they don't need to do anything just get dressed and show up at her house. Condescending RD taunts continue. Baa yells at RD that first of all can't have it at RD's house (it has to be according to traditions from sasural) and secondly won't happen without V/Kavya

In all this argument - kinjal finally speaks up that she won't come to RD's house, if she wants to have the event, call her friends to do it from Shah house. RD agrees to it!

Anu reminds her and anuj also say that for such abig event everyone should be present. Rd Say, if she compromised on the location, she will have choice of day/date they can't have both - Baa/RD go at it - more arguments - tu tu mai mai continue.

Finally its set - event next day at shah house! RD says then they have to do the setup as well and taunts at their middle class status further taunts that no worries, Anu/kapadias can take care of it, Baa is simply fuming and says she will take care of everything. Samar also walks in and defends V that, V is the one who runs this house and they will do whats in their status. Anujs says time is less but there's lot of love and that they'll make it happen.

Rakhi taunts baa to make sure Anu's inlaws are invited as well, again Baa is aag babula she doesn't want to invite them - says only GK/Anuj/Anu are invited, no one else is invited! Rakhi leaves saying she'll be there promptly at noon the next day.

Adhik/Pakhi talking on the phone, saying he enjoys talking to her.

AB/BB on the dining table, she is smiling says she like AB working, wonders why Anu/Anuj are not back, probably some argument there - she hopes they never meet Shah. AB reminds her that Anu/Anuj are nice people they are the glue that keep everyone together and move in life with everyone no leaving anyone behind. BB says fire/water have no reason to be together.

Bapuji tries to apologize to Anuj for Baa's behavior, Anuj says it's better to not invite if it's half-hearted/namesake, at least he/gk/anu will be there - but Anu feels really bad and rushes after Baa. She argues with her to find the reason to not invite her inlaws, and has answers for Baa's every taunt - says even Baa insulted Baapuji but was quick to forgive herself, she reminds that she and Anuj stood by her maika folks at grah pravesh and today she is there to stand up for her sasural folks - Baa retorts Anu is worried about inlaws and not worried that V/Kavya are not going to be present! More arguments continue Anu tells Baa that whether she likes it or not the 'rishta' has been made due to marriage and they'll have to honor the relations. She says, if they are not invited doesn't she think how Anu/Anuj will feel?

Precap: EPISODE 614: MondayBaapuji invites AB/BB for Kinjal's baby shower on the other hand Baa informs V/Kavya that the next day is Godbharai but that they'll only do one when they are back!

So dance academy and hotel project flew out of the window. Now Anu's daily routine will include coming to Shah's early morning to do jhadu pocha and cook meals. She will also drag her husband to Shah house. Just last night Anuj was asking her to stay away from Shah family for few days but of course she can stay away from oxygen but not Shah family. I know makers are trying to show Anuj as a supportive husband, but he is coming across as a slave husband. MaAn should hand over their entire property and business to BB and concentrate solely on Shah family affairs. After all it's Shah Bahu godbharai. Not even Ambani Bahu's godbharai was organized by so many people.
