Anu is a person who respects everyone, and Baa is an elderly person whom she had considered her mother (not eligible for any relation phir bhi), also nowadays it quite clear for Anu, Baa has just become a normal mother, not very dear to her like how it was before. So just bado ke pair chune ka riwaz poora kiya hai.

I hope I am right cuz this behaviour has only one explanation, if I am wrong then its like breaking head on a wall.

I don't think any abuse survivor ever holds any respect for their abuser irrespective of the age , relationship...
