Continuing where we left.. kinda a filler but i needed to post something to divert the mind from dkp antics. Hope its ok

Sitting in the car for more than 2 hours, they had stopped for a tea break at a road side tea stall.

Another vendor was frying samosas near the tea stall. Anuj and anu both looked at the hot samosas and then at each other, remembering Anuj's hot oldies joke earlier, they burst out laughing.

The Aravali mountain ranges in the backdrop, a lake nearby, modern buildings resembling forts.. Anu was mesmerised by the sight.. Anuj kept looking at her serene face.. hoping to keep her smiling for the rest of their lives.

It was early evening when they reached their destination.Their rooms were interconnected. It was Anu, who asked him why separate rooms. He had explained, she should get her privacy always. No matter what, every person needs a personal space.

She couldnt help but look at him admiringly, koi itna achha kaise ho sakta hain. Always thinking about others comfort! Her Anuj was truly a gem.

Anuj raised his brow questionly. She nodded a nothing.

During dinner he had updated her with the next day plans. His meeting was scheduled from morning till late afternoon, he had wanted her to do some work for him too. After which they would be free to explore the city.

That post dinner stroll in the hotel garden was refreshing for both, walking hand in hand, neither saying a word but soaking in the calmness of the night.

Later, when she suppressed a yawn, they decided to call it a night.

Anu was about to sleep but she remembered Anuj had not taken the meds for his shoulder.

Though he had tried to hide, she had seen him moving around in pain all day long.

His heartbeat jumped a few notches high seeing her, hair let lose, saree pallu unpinned. Was he dreaming he wondered. No wait, she had a darned medicine strip in her hand, which meant it was not a dream.

She came around to give him the med near his bed. Knowing his dislike for meds, Anu was ready to get stern with him.

Maybe he sensed she was ready to scold him, so he quietly took the tablet. And put his hand in front of her for the chocolate she always gave him for being a good boy.

Anu had forgotten the choco. He made a face ready to puke which in turn made her laugh in adoration.

When he pouted some more, she stopped laughing. Bringing her face close to his, Anu placed a kiss on his cheek.

She whispered, "aapka inaam" and rushed to her room leaving him ecstatic shocked at same time.
