Yes dear, it was a weak portrayal of expression combined with over analysis of what a 40+ woman should emote when in love.

Honestly, I liked both anu's confession and Anuj's proposal, but in Anu's confession I wanted to see more of Anuj's expressions and in today's episode, like you, I also wish she hadn't been so shocked, I mean they already spoke about growing old together and they showed they she did think about marriage.
