His confession looking right in her eyes made her realise the purity of love that even she can't achieve. This is an unnamed relationship but still there is something very deep inside her which seeded when he said that he will love her till his last breath.
She invited him for breakfast that diwali morning only so that no one will be alone on festival day. He was silent all the way which made her little uncomfortable not around him but with herself. For the first time she tried to look into the mirror to check if she was looking okay for him. She knows that she is free with him.
They reached her home. New home. She looked at her name which he wrote when house deal was done, she has a slight smile on her face. She felt a little warm near her neck, then the husky and deep voice she heard.
"Anupama I m hungry, kuch bana do please, mai bina khaye ghar se nikla tha".
She rushed to kitchen were Anuj was already standing to help her. But she refused and asked him to sit. He was about to deny but she made him remember that he said that he will agree on whatever she says. So he could not refuse more.
Anu from dinning table was taking quick glance of her lady love breathing air which is not making him suffocate. He is relieved today as if his life burden is released. Now he is living his life.
Anu came with breakfast to break his chain of thoughts.
Anuj: u remember what I said that day that I will agree on your every word
Anu: yes I don't forget anything related to you. You know u r precious to me.
Anuj was again awestruck. She as if confessed to love him back. But he thought of concentrating on breakfast. There comfort zone was broken when his phone rang and he looked into his watch. This is the first time that he forgot his meet. He ensured to join in 2 minutes by his phone only.
They were Aarti and Benny his partner on his project on the other side. They were about to finish the meeting when Anu heard something weird, which made her think more of Anuj.
Aarti: love you buddy. Benny you should thank Anuj for rejecting my marriage proposal else how would you find me.
Benny: thank you buddy for rejecting my wife
All three laughed on a lighter notes but Anu looked at Anuj in disbelief that yes she is the reason he is single without any partner from last 26 years.
Anuj: Alright, congratulations on your 10th wedding anniversary. Well let me introduce you to my business partner in India, here she is Anu
Anu has to forcefully came out of the thoughts.

Anu: thank you Aarti. Congratulations on your wedding anniversary. I just got to know.
Aarti laughed and told her the whole story about her and Anuj and how she proposed him after their one night stand and how he refused and asked her to be friends as he will never be able to love anyone.
