Rupali Ganguly had played the role of Monisha Sarabhai in a comedy show called "Sarabhai vs Sarabhai". Monisha's husband's name was Sahil Sarabhai and Mother in law's name was Maya Sarabhai. Whenever Monisha used to get irritated with her MIL, she would say "Sahil, main ghar chhod ke ja rahi hoon". And "It's so middle class" was her MIL's catchphrase.

Monisha got married to the tall guy from A Band Of Boys. Her Bapuji is 'Hain Hain Kumar' Madhusudan Kaka. Her samdhan is Mohini from Kyuki Saas.. Her best friend is Inspector Kajal from CID.

But most importantly, she has stopped cooking cement jaisi idli 🤣
