Yeah I really loved PreRish yaar... I so wanted Prerna to end up with Mr. Bajaj just like the old show... But unfortunately we couldn't get that🥺

I can't promise about more stories on MaAn because nowadays I hardly get time to write... I just wrote this one because that scene was running in my mind and I couldn't help but pen it down 😳... But I promise to update this one soon... Maybe by this Sunday 😊

I am finally back with the update 🤗

I know I am very late for this, but I was too busy with work and had to finish a target before Diwali Vacations.

I apologize from the bottom of my heart for my lateness 😔

But I have written a long update as compensation 😃

I hope you all will enjoy it

So here it is.....

Precap: ‘Mere in dono bacchon ko, mere dil ke saath saath humare sangeet or nritya ke prem ne bhi, mujhse bandha hai… Or isiliye aaj inke kehne par, main apne is per..per4.. Per4mance ke sath inse, aap sab se aur yaha maujud kisi se kuch kehna chahti hu’, Anupama said with a wide smile. Everyone cheered for her. ‘Mere bacchon ye tum dono ke liye’, Anu said looking at Samar Nandini and then at Anuj. She smiled at him and then signalled for her song to be played.

Part 2

Aa aa.. Aa aa...aaaa

Aa aa.. Aa aa...aaaa

The music started and Anu started to dance on the rhythm. Anuj recognised the music and a flame of hope ignited in his heart, Anu was dancing with all her heart and it felt like she was feeling every beat of the song. It felt like she was truly feeling and expressing all the emotions of the song.

Kab tak chup baithen ab to kuchh hai bolna

She turned and looked at Anuj at this while dancing gracefully…. And he couldn’t believe it.

Kuchh tum bolo kuchh hum bolein o dholna

She forwarded her hand towards him in her dance action and he was stunned in happiness. Is it really happening?? Is this what he is thinking it is!!! He thought while his eyes widened in surprise. Anu smiled looking at his surprised face and continued her dance.

She then pulled Samar and Nandini on the stage and directed her dancing towards them. They smiled and danced with her for for few moments encouraging her.

Kuchh tum bolo kuchh hum bolein o dholna

She then danced expressing her feelings looking directly at Anuj and even pointing towards him indirectly through her dance.

Mar jaana tha ye bhed nahin tha kholna

O dholna o dholna

Anuj was overjoyed with this and looked at GK with confusion, to which GK nodded assuringly.

‘GK, please mujhe pinch karo… kahin main sapna toh nahi dekh raha?’, Anuj whispered to GK. GK and Devika, who had been standing beside Anuj on the other side, laughed and both of them pinched him from both sides.

‘Ouch!!’, he whisper yelled and Anu giggled looking at that and continued her performance.

Kuchh tum bolo kuchh hum bolein o dholna

‘Ab samjhe! Ye sapna nahi haqiqat hai Mr. Kapadia’, Devika said teasing him with a wide smile. He smiled at her and looked towards Anupama

Do chaar kadam pe tum thay

She held Samar’s hand and pulled him ahead a few steps.

Do chaar kadam pe hum thay

She then held Nandini’s hand and did the same with her indicating how these two came forward in their love conquering those few steps.

She danced with the lyrics but this time her attention was all on Anuj, as if telling him that they were just a few steps away from each other.

Do chaar kadam ye lekin

Sau meelon se kya kam thay

And how these few steps were like hundreds of miles for them.

Phir uspe kadam kadam pe dil ka dolna

Hay dolna o dholna

And Anuj knew exactly how difficult it was for both of them to finally get their love. How difficult it was for him to confess and how difficult it was for her to accept her love!

Anuj didn’t know how to contain his feelings in his heart anymore and they were clearly seen on his face. He was still unable to believe that this was really happening, but he couldn’t help but beam in happiness.

Lo jeet gaye tum humse

Hum haar gaye is dil se

This time Anu pointed her finger at him when the lyrics said “Tum”, and Anuj just let out a breath that he didn’t realise that he had been holding till then.

Everyone along with Anuj and Devika understood by this point what Anupama was trying to say with her dance and the song. Vanraj, Baa and Paritosh were boiling with anger, Kavya just watched dumbstruck at the boldness of Anupama. Bapuji, Mamaji and all the other children looked like nothing could have made them happier than this.

Aaya hai aaj labhon pe

Anu now walked towards Anuj.

Ye pyaar badi mushkil se

And did her moves standing in font of Anuj with a smile. Anuj’s happiness knew no bounds now..

Is pyaar mein humko

Paagal na kar chhodna

She circled around him.

Na chhodna o dholna

And stood behind him back to back. She gave his back a shove by her elbow at “o dholna..” and then resumed her dance.

She now dance in centre of all the guests with grace and elegance and happiness written all over her face.

She twirled around and finally stood in front of him as the song ended. He was looking at her with happiness. He and everyone around them must have understood what she was trying to convey through her dance, and Anuj was almost on cloud nine realising it, but he still waited for that word of confirmation from her mouth. She too just stood there looking at him and was amused at the myriad of emotions on his face. She saw the obvious on his face and his eyes and she just nodded her head in affirmation. Anuj beamed at her in happiness, and she too smiled back.

‘Uhh..Tum...mujh… main… hum...Anu…Anupama…’, his words came out incoherently as he couldn’t understand how to handle this much happiness.

‘Kya hua Shayar Kapadia ji… aaj kuch bolenge nahi?’, she asked with a raised brow. But he just left a soft breath out, and shook his head as his eyes watered with tears of happiness.

‘Anupama yeh kya bakwas…’, Baa was about to ask in her anger but Bapuji held her hand and she looked at him in shock.

‘Aaj nahi Leela… aaj kuch nahi bolegi tu’, he ordered her wife and she became quiet at the firmness in his eyes with shock and looked back at Anupama and Anuj who seemed to have been oblivious to their surroundings.

‘Thik he… toh main bol deti hu’, Anupama said and Anuj nodded. ‘Anuj aap jeet gaye’, Anupama said and Anuj was confused for moment as to what she was talking about. But the next second his smile was back as she continued.

‘Aap sach me mujhse jeet gaye aur main apne dil se haar gayi’. Anuj, Devika, GK, Kinjal, Samar, Nandini and Pakhi were so happy that nobody could hide their smiles. ‘Anuj, zindagi me aaj tak main kabhi sacche pyaar ko pa nahi saki… ya fir shayad jise main pyaar samajhti rahi, woh pyaar nahi tha...main bas apni ek jimmedaari ko pyaar ka naam de baithi thi….', she said looking for a second towards Vanraj. 'Ore parivaar ke jin logon se pyaar ki ummeed rakhi, unse apnapan bhi mushkil se mila’, she said looking at Baa and Paritosh. ‘Lekin jab aapse mulaqaat hui Anuj, tab jana ki saccha pyaar hota kya hai! Pyaar me dabav aur hukumat nahi, par samman aur azadi hoti hai yeh aapse milkar jana hai maine’.

‘Anupama main..’, Anuj felt bashful as she just praised him.

‘Aaj tak main apne aap ko rokti aayi… apne dil ko rokti aayi woh sab mehsoos karne se jo main aapke sath aaj kal mehsoos karne lagi hu….Is dar se ki samaaj kya kahega? Baa Bapuji kya sochenge, mera beta kya sochega? Kahin meri wajah se mere parivaar ko tane na sunne pade! Kahin main apni maryada toh nahi tod dungi?....’, Anu continued and Anuj just listened.

‘Lekin main bhul gayi thi ki maryada tab tootati hai jab koi galat kam kiya jaye...bhul gayi thi ki samaaj aur biraadari insaan ko akelepan se bachane ke liye bane hai… Lekin samaaj aurat ke akelepan ko na kabhi samajh paya hai, aur na jane age chalke bhi samajhne ke liye kitne saal aur laga de…. Maine itne saalon se is parivaar ko ore Mr. Shaha ko sab kuch diya hai, apna pyaar, apna sneh, apna waqt, apni khusiyan, apne sapne aur yaha tak ki apna atmasamman bhi….’ she spoke boldly today and nobody dared to speak anything.

‘Lekin main bhul gayi thi ki meri khud ke liye bhi wahi jimmedariyan hai, jo mere parivaar ke liye hai… mai bhul gayi thi ki mujhe bhi khus hone ka, udaan bharne ka, pyaar karne ka utna hi haq hai jitna is parivaar ke har sadasya ko hai…. Yeh baat ore hai ki Baa ne mujhe apni beti nahi maana, lekin maine hamesa unhe maa samajh kar unki har iccha ore aadesh ka palan kiya… Par Baapuji ne mujhe beti sirf kaha hi nahi maana bhi hai, aur usi beti ke haq se mujhe bhi apni zindagi me aage badhne ka pura haq hai yeh main bhul hi gayi thi Anuj…. Jab tak aap nahi mile the’, Anupama said, now with watered eyes.

'Yaad hai aapko… maine aapse ek din kaha tha ki chidiya kitni bhi unchi udaan kyu na bhar le, sham ko laut kar apne ghosle me hi aati hai? Yaad hai na?', Anu asked and Anuj nodded.

'Yaad hai', he replied a little sadly as he found a chance of losing his happiness again with this question.

'Par main bhul gayi thi Anuj…', she said and Anuj's eyes sparkled with hope again. 'Ki agar chidiya ka wo ghosla toofaan me ujad jaye… Toh chidiya khud nahi haar jati! Woh apne liye ek naya ghosla bana leti hai', Anu said and now Anuj's happiness knew no bounds. He now realized that his love is finally his.

'Anu tum…', he tried to say but Anupama didn't let him.

'Aaj main wahi karna chahti hu, mere is ujade huye ghosle ko chhod kar naya ghosla banana chahti hu…!', she said with excitement. 'Aur jaisa aapne kaha tha jo mujhse pyaar karte hai wo mera is faisle me saath jaroor denge', she said and he nodded with a smile.

'Par Anu… are you sure?... tum… yeh ghar?', he asked unsure. She understood his unasked question and smiled lightly at him.

'Anuj… abhi abhi maine aapse kaha ne ki saccha pyaar kya hota hai, kaisa hota hai ye maine aapse milne ke baad jana hai… aap meri zindagi me aaye, ore use poora ka poora palat ke rakh diya', she said and he blushed at that. He scratched his head and lowered his eyes in shyness, which Anu found so cute that she felt like pulling his cheeks at this.

'Aaj main jo kuch bhi hu, jis mukam pe hu, jo kamyaabi mujhe mili hai wo sab aapki wajah se hai', she said and he looked at her sharply at that.

'Nahi Anupama… tum aaj jo kuch bhi ho tumhari khud ki kabiliyat ki wajah se ho', Anuj replied instantly and she chuckled.

'Mana ke udaan maine khud bhari hai, lekin us udaan ko bharne ke liye pankh mujhe aapne diye hai Anuj.. Main aasmaan jarur chhoo payi hu, lekin udne ke liye wo aasmaan aap hi ne diya hai mujhe… Mujhme kabiliyat hai yeh toh main janti thi, magar us kabiliyat ke dam par main kuch kar sakti hu is baat ka vishwas aur hausla aapne diya hai mujhe Anuj', she kept on expressing her gratitude towards him and he just listened silently with bashfulness.

'Anu tum.. '

'Aapko yaad hai aapne mujhse kaha tha ki Anupama ki kahani me heroine bhi main hi hu, ore hero bhi khud main hi hu… lekin is hero ko hero banane ke piche director aap hai Anuj… log kehte hai ki ek kamyab aadmi ke piche humesha kisi aurat ka hath hota hai… lekin main wo aurat hu, jiski kamyabi ke piche aapka hausla aur sath hai', she said with a smile.

'Bas bas Anu bas.... Itni taarif sunne ki aadat nahi hai mujhe', he said and they both chuckled at this.

'Kher… sirf in sab baaton ki wajah se main aapke sath nahi jana chahti… ', she said and he raised a brow in confusion. 'Main aapke saath aapki wajah se jana chahti hu… aapke liye jo mere dil me jazbaat hai, unki wajah se jana chahti hu', she said and Anuj just looked at her with complete attention. As if he would blink and all this would just break as a dream.

'Wo jazbaat jinhe main aaj tak samajh hi nahi payi… wo jazbaat jinse main aaj tak chhupti aayi hu.. apne parivaar ki parampara, uski bandisho aur apne khud ke dar ki wajah se… Lekin aaj mujhe koi dar nahi hai Anuj… aaj main khul ke kehna chahti hu', she said with a smile.

'Kya?', he asked immediately.

'Aap jabse meri zindagi me aye… kisi na kisi tarah, kabhi ek classmate banke, kabhi ek dost banke, kabhi business partner banke, kabhi ek businessman banke aur kabhi sirf ek insaan banke mere dil me ghar karte chale gaye… Har baar aap kisi na kisi roop me mera khayal rakhte gaye, mera saath dete rahe, mujh par apna pyaar barsaate gaye, ore main kisi nadi ki tarah bas aapke sath behti chali gayi…. Har kadam pe mera sath diya aapne, har mushkil me, har khushi me… aapke sath jo bachpana aur maskari kar pati hu main aaj tak kisi ke sath nahi kar payi hu…. Jitna khulke main aapke sath saas le pati hu, utna is ghar me ore apno ke beech reh kar bhi kabhi nahi le payi main… par fir bhi samajh nahi payi thi ki is sab ka matlab kya hai...samjh hi nahi payi thi ki apke sath sab kuch itna accha kyu lagta hai… lekin aaj sab samajh gayi hu’, she said and Anuj smiled widely at that. But then Anu’s eyes watered and he got puzzled.

‘Kis… kis mitti ke bane hai aap?? Kis mitti ke Anuj??’, Anupama asked and a tear escaped her eye. Anuj immediately forwarded a hand to wipe that tear but Anu quickly held his hand in both of hers.

‘Chhabees saal… 26 saal Anuj!! Chhabees saal se pyaar karte aaye hai aap mujhe, ore kabhi kuch nahi kaha..!! Ehsaas tak nahi hone diya… Main itne dino se aapke saamne hote huye bhi, ek baar bhi aapne apni dosti ki maryada paar nahi ki... Arre main toh aapka naam tak bhul gayi thi… yeh tak bhul gayi thi ki Anuj Kapadia naam ka mera koi classmate tha, ore aap… meri har choti se choti baat aapko yaad rahi? Jis ladki ne college me shayad aapse baat bhi nahi ki hogi, use imli itni pasand hai yeh baat aapko ab tak yaad hai!!?’, Anupama asked with an unbelievableness.

She then put her hand in his sherwani pocket and took out the magnet that he usually twirled in his hand. She showed it to him and he was surprised that she realised what it was.

‘Ye… ye chumbak… jo mere baste se 26 saal pehle gir ke kho gaya tha…. Aapne ab tak sambhal kar rakha hai!! Kaise kar sakte hai aap mujhse itna pyaar?? Kaise Anuj?’, she asked and he just smiled at her and wiped her tears with his other hand.

‘तुझे छुएं बिना भी हमेशा महसूस़ किया

मैंने तेरे एहसास़ से भी इश्क़ किया

मुझे फुरसत़ कहाँ थी की मौसम़ सुहाना देखता

तेरी यादों से निकलता, तब़ तो ज़माना देखता

खुद को बस तेरी अमानत समझ लिया

हर लम्हा तुझसे वफ़ा को अपनी दौलत समझ लिया

तेरे आने की उम्मीद़ तो नही थी, मगऱ

कैसे कह़ दूं की कभी इंतज़ाऱ भी ना किया’

Anuj replied to her in his shayari, and to his surprise today she didn't say that she didn't understand it but just smiled at him.

'Aaj… aaj aapka intezaar khatm hua Anuj', she said and he just nodded his head. ‘Meri amaanat nahi, par aap aur aapka pyaar meri zindagi ki sabse badi daulat hai’, she replied and he was pleasantly surprised that she understood his shayari. ‘Aur aaj main aapse kehna chahti hu’

‘Kya?’, he asked raising a brow playfully and she got speechless for a second. ‘Kya kehna chahti ho Anu? Bolo na…’, he asked and she took a deep breath.

‘Yahi ke..’

‘Kya Anu?’, he asked even before she could continue and teasing her. She chuckled a bit.

‘Ke main aapse pyaar karti hu’, she said and he just felt like he could die of happiness at that spot only. ‘Bohot pyaar karti hu…. I … I love you Anuj’, Anupama said and Anuj closed his eyes in bliss for a moment. When he opened it and looked at her, a small and shy smile was playing on her lips.

‘I love you too Anu’, he said her smile grew wider. Anuj just opened his arms for her and she leapt into them, hugging him tight. He hugged her back finally feeling peaceful.

Everyone looked at them some in wonder, her children, GK, Yaadon ki baarat and Bapuji in happiness, Baa, Ravanraj, Kavya and Toshu in shock, but both of them didn’t care for anything today. In that moment there existed only them. Just the two of them in each others’ arms. Their hearts beating together, finally feeling at home and complete in life.
