The discussion about their apparent age gap makes no sense. As per the story Anupamaa and Anuj were batchmates.

Anupamaa has been projected time and again as a woman who has not taken care of herself and looks older than she actually is. There had been an initial promo when Vanraj commented that she looks 50 at the age of 42. While Vanraj was still working out as an athlete and taking protein shakes, she was slogging in the kitchen and has had 3 babies too.

I am sure that the fact that Anuj still looks fresh while Anupamaa has years showing on her face, will be brought up on the show.

Also it is natural that men and women age differently. Both Gaurav and Rupali had their major shows around the same time. Gaurav was in Kumkum and Rupali was in Sanjivani and Sarabhai. Gaurav was a marketing manager before he began acting and not a teenager, which means that they are almost in the same age group IRL as well.

Also why do we judge Anupamaa when she wears sarees for every occasion. She stopped wearing suits and casuals when she got married at 18, which means she has spent more than half of her life in sarees. I may not be comfy in a saree, but someone used to it will be more comfortable in it than in suits or westernwear.

Presuming she is in a bad state because she is wearing sarees is same as judging girls for wearing jeans.

Also spoiler alert, but its been more than 2 years since Sreemoyee started and about a year since Rohit entered and they have shown their marriage just a week ago and that too when Rohit got seriously ill and Sreemoyee realized that she has shunned the only person who has supported her so that she can gain approval of her selfish family, so she left everything to marry him. Will take quite a while before we can see their union.

Yahan pur samar ne bola mummy school ke reunion mein gayi that is why thought ki school ka reunion hai to khaali puraane student kyon why not teachers

Ab kya pata ki school ke reunion ka matlab hota ki bus sirf school ke class mates hi milenge teachers nahin

I am really hoping that Anuj has some brains. he is pretty rich so hopeful about that. Shah parivaar really needs it. Another thing I hope is that he should know how to use in brain in a tactic manner to deal with idiots living with shah parivaar. He should not come in emotional talk of anupama. I am not saying he needs to insult them but should not let them dance on his head either.

Another thing they need is to change the style of anupama. Even though i really don't mind the age difference or anything but i think as an on screen jodi they will look odd if makers kept Anupama present style.
