Anupama's reactions

I was happy to see Anupama's reaction to the situation in 6th Jan episode.

When bapuji reiterated the same old "sorry kisi ne tumhare baare me socha hi nahi" BS, she did not say it is okay and avoided conversation. It showed she was not the same old Anupama who accepted everything.

The reaction to Baa's stupid demand of stopping the classes and taking care of Vanraj. It not just that she denied the demand completely, but she also clarified that it wasnt the love for the family which brought him back, it was his selfishness. He has always chosen his interests, whether it was stepping out for Kavya or coming back to have a better care and recovery.

I like the way she replied to Baa. I dont want her to yell back or fight because Baa would start talking nonsense and start her drama which would not take the conversation anywhere. Calm replies like these make baa speechless and proves Anupama's point.

I liked that she did not want to go to Vanraj's room to give food. Shrewd baa makes up an alibi every time, this time her "jaap". My heart went out to her when she scolded Samar for coming late. It was a gut wrenching scene for me and there were some tears shed. Applauds to Rupali Ganguli for acting so beautifully.

The only thing I did not like was why did she come back to explain his medication, when Samar was already there? The director contradicts his own build up. But if Anupama keeps behaving this way, nobody would dare to treat her as a doormat!

I haven't watched today's episode but your post intrigues me to watch it if it shows Anupama to be stronger one.

Based on WU few things I did not understand -

1. Why the hell can Babuji for change be firm and take soup for Vanraj if he understands Anupama so much.

2. Why can she not say that she will do her best to balance but her priority will be her job and classes and not baa's son.

3. How can people celebrate new year and take it like nothing happened

4. Why can't she just initiate divorce process

And few more things... But I think I have been focusing lot on what should have NOT been than nice things given... Her responses seem to be apt for baa in confirming that he has not changed or chosen family but himself like always. Glad she didn't say OK to babuji, but just keeping quiet does not always help.

Kai baar anupama ne apne reaction se baa ko bataaya ki ab woh vanraj se Relationship nahin rakhna chahti ab use vanraj ke liye kaam karna nahin acha lagta . Anupama ne chup reh kar apne face ke expression se bataaya ki ab use vanraj ke liye kaam karna acha nahin lagta

Pur phir bhi pata nahin kyon baa anupama ke peeche padi rehti ki vanraj ki care karo. Vanraj ki nazar utaro Ek choti si baat baa ko samajh nahin aati?

Anupama ne to kai baar aise apt reaction baa ko diye hain pur yeh baa anupama ke reaction ko samjhna hi nahin chahti

That nazar utaaro drama was something I puked to! I mean if Baa's neck was strained, what had happened to her darling daughter Dolly? She was standing right there!!! Why not her utaroing nazar instead of Anupama if at all it had to be utarofied??

Waise I feel even evil eyes would not want to deal with Vanraj! Who knows he will use it as well to his own good and then move on??? rofl

I have also same question why baa did not ask dolly nazar utaro of vanraj . Waise kis baat ka nazar utaro samajh nahin aaya

Yahan vanraj ne khud hi anupama pur evil eye daala hua hai . Zindagi anupama ki baarbad kar diya vanraj ne aur in maharaj vanraj ki nazar utari jaa rahi hai

I get that ppl don’t want Anu to ‘scream’ at Baa but Anu is the that pressure cooker that’s gonna blow

She has been internalizing all the shit for 25 years & STILL is

they can’t keep showing her suffering like this

polite responses are not working with Baa. She needs to be more firm and stand up

and why the fu&@ is Anu still doing everything in the house ?

can’t dolly help out ? Anu’s useless loser kids ? Baa is a lazy ass man ...I want Anu to leave so she gets off her ass and works

Well, bapuji did offer to take the food, but the sanskaari bahu I tell you, how could she let her sasurji feed his own son? And not to mention, baa was aghasted to see bapuji even offering that and if Anupama accepted his offer, there sure have been a great tamasha about it. And being a non-confrontational person myself, I know people like Anu dont need another tamasha!

Anu did actually say that she would be okay to cook for him, but do not expect anything more from her in clear words, I would say go ahead and watch the episode.

To your point, totally incomprehensible to me how can they celebrate new year with so much going on.. and how can that man start dancing all of a sudden after such an accident!! Garbage!!

Anu should definitely start the divorce process. She could use Devika's help if she has no legal knowledge, but she should definitely get out of this unholy matrimony.
