Samar is already close to her and has had inferior treatment being done to him since long due to his school dropout and Paritosh has newly been deceived and sad about separation from Kinjal. However Pakhi is still not aware of how one should deal with cheating. She thinks its just another fight which will be resolved soon. Anupamaa should have talked to her about the seriousness of this issue but she is still choosing to shelter everyone away from her dirty linen when its already all out in the open.

If she keeps portraying that everything is fine and her kids should not worry, maybe an adult like Samar will see through her words, but what about a teenager like Pakhi.

As per the Bengali version, this will get resolved after Pakhi moves in with VanYa and Kavya mistreats her so she returns, but is that the right approach? Shouldn't Anupamaa have talked to Pakhi and avoided this at the first place. She had so many chances to do that.

But instead of treating cheating as a universal flaw that her kids should never learn, she kept stating that they should not stop loving Vanraj because he has been a good father.

I beg to differ on many points here. First of all, Pakhi is not a baby, she is a teenager. Babies are no doubt selfish, but it is their survival instinct. As soon as they start to grow as much as even 6 years, some of them start developing sensibilities towards their loved ones. She is not that younger to Samar, she is in an age when kids start dating these days or maybe crushing. So they understand what cheating is.

Secondly, how can she ever think this is just another fight? She witnessed the whole fiasco in the resort. Its not that her parents stopped living with each other and nobody told her why. I think Anupama is teaching them that cheating is a crime by walking out of the marriage and standing up for herself. She is teaching by action. If she talks it would seem like she is trying to turn them against their father. And what should have Anupama told Pakhi? That look how your father and Kavya cheated me. Isnt that pretty evident? Or should you now never trust your father? In many homes where parents are separated, children still remain close to both.

Honestly any teenager would be more scared that through this party, her friends will get to know about her parents n will be embarrassed.

Yes she is a teenager, but a lot of what the child turns up depends on the parent.

If she didn't understand why its not okay to take Kayva as her mother to the school function, I doubt she will understand why cheating and coming back home as if nothing happened is not okay.

Anupamaa should have told her why her father has been wrong, of his emotional abuse and why she is not ready to go back into the relationship, instead of blabbering about what he did with her is their matter but his kids should not hate him. Kids can stay close to both of the divorced parents of the separation has been amicable and no one is particularly at fault. In a case like this, you have to take a side. Anupamaa is, in a way, evading any possible empathy that she could have gotten from her kids by being mahaan.

Being virtuous is all good but sometimes you need to draw a line and get your dues instead of waiting for Karma to do its job.

I know this is a TV show and makers will try to introduce conflict in some way or the other to keep it running but it is setting a very bad example for housewives. If Anupamaa doesn't retaliate now and blames Kavya for manipulation instead of talking to Pakhi, she is gonna keep thinking she can be with Anupamaa for the household care and Vanraj for his money without ever having to take the right side.

This! I know! She is very selfish. She is witnessing what her family is going through and still. We have a kid in our Friend's family going through a similar crisis. He is like 10 years old. He won't even talk to his dad on phone - he refuses it.

A teen avoiding EMA like nothing should red alert for Anu. Pakhi needs to be educated for her own good!

Pakhi is not that small she's not a kid she's a teenager and she looks quite wise she can make the difference between kavya and Anupama she can judge taunt and scold her mother suddenly per Writers convenience this grown up girl has turned into a kid....

Paritosh did not believe his mothers suffering till Rakhi Dave called off his engagement. He believd his father's words even after Nandini prooved the facts. Unless one gets a rude shock that jolts them the magnitude the reality doesnt provoke them. That is the case with Dolly and Baa as well.

unless they see things from Anus shoes they will continue to blame her for everything.

Kavya seems to know Pakhis friends. infct when they came out of the cinema one of the girls received a call and initiated the talk of going to the hotel.V has already indicated his children might come and stay with him so i appears that a lot more manipulation is to unfold.

The bangali one the child liked to bully the mother for no reason infact the her party was celebrated wen she was living with kavYa and vnaraj that kavYa. On the other end that mother was desperate to see her daughter so she went to their house to give home food the daughter should her such a bad attitude and praised them over her and insulted her front of so many guests. This one is OKi she went home doesn't hate her mother just that she gets manipulated with expensive staff. She didn't take her anger out on her mother and they was two parties held. The bangali one twhy was no need to plot the girl herself showed how disgusting she can go the ladies character who is kavya got super negative when the girl realized her mistake coz she couldn't handle her anymore or act like a mother for her
