The episode begins with Anupama getting emotional as she watches Pakhi run to her dad as Vanraj is walking towards the main door. Pakhi hugs her dad n weeps , Vanraj caresses his daughter lovingly . She p,ends her dad not to leave them. Vanraj assures he loved his kids n he asks Pakhi to accompany him. He would never restrict her from meeting the rest of the family . He assures she would like Kavya who was smart n forward like her. Pakhi weeps n is unable to decide what’s right n what she should do . She runs back to her brother Toshu and hugs him Samar n Toshu hug n console their sister lovingly.
Baa asks Van not to leave this house. It was incorrect to leave own house for the sake of outsider. Van retorts they had thrown their own son out of the house and supported an outsider (accusing Anu to be outsider) everyone feels angry at his wrong accusation . Babuji says he would regret is very much. Vanraj retorts back angrily saying they would regret it .
As he is leaving Anupama thanks Vanraj for taking good care of baa babuji and the kids all these years, for proving for this family all these yrs, putting nip with her backwardness and all her shortcomings . She thanks him for all this with folded hands. She then says sorry for failing to be up to her mark . Vanraj smirks n moves on .
Everyone else in the family is distraught . Vanraj gets FBs of his happy and close family moments n he gets nostalgic . Anu notices his tears as he passes the kitchen window. Baa tries to follow her son as he nears the main door but Babuji stays by firmly shouting “LEELA !!!”
Baa sinks back into her chair n gets teary eyed.
Vanraj challenges Anupama that its totally a different matter to take care of the family n run the household, he will wait n watch to see how she manages the household. Anupama fumes. The kids feel sad for their mother n father.
Van throws his suitcase n bag I to the car. As Vanraj drives away he is filed with jealousy for Anupamaa.
He reaches Kavya’s house and she is beaming ear to ear on seeing him arrive with his suitcase. She hugs him happily.
But she is apprehensive that he had come to her in a fit of fury, would he go back to them when he regretted his move ??
Sweety/ Pakhi accuses Anu of not stopping her dad, she is distraught her parents would separate n get divorced. She wanted her parents together. She weeps and shuts herself in her room. Anu talks new the shut door that she had failed as a mother but as a wife she had taken the correct descision.

Baa n Babuji discuss that Vanraj has done a great mistake, and hansmukh pronounced his punishment as his father. Was their decision to marry Van Anu wrong ?? They have adjusted for so many years why could they not do so now ?? may be they should have considered Vanraj’s point of view. Anupama was a very good girl , good bahu but may be she is not good enough for Vanraj ?? Anu over hears this in the kitchen n feels furious.
Toshu tells Anu that he will take up a job at call center to assist his mom financially . Anu alms n consoles him that he better concentrate on his studies, she will manage to run the household by herself.
The family is shocked to see Vanraj return to the house with his suitcase. Anu glares at him.
