In Bengali version she had resumed her job as cooking teacher to gain financial independence after Vanraj's character financially abandons her when Samar meets with an accident during KinTosh's marriage. He wants to prove that Anupamaa can never handle monetary problems alone and assumes she will accept defeat and ask him for money but she sells some of her jewelry to pay hospital bills.

Then Vanraj tries to pay her back saying one day she will eventually run out of jewelry to sell, so she decides to start working again.

There has been no mention of her following her actually talent of dancing/singing as a career in any of the versions yet.

She can study but still do what she is best at and get the respect and name she deserves, she is also entering a business too. With being a chef and earn more then her Vanraj and so on etc
