Hidden gem

I started this show out of curiosity of all the Sanan promotions because I was like wth is the big deal...

honestly I have to say I’m enjoying it overall.

the story is typical.... bechari and un Appreciated bahu with a cheating husband. But I think the charm of the show is rupalis personification of Anupamaa she brings such a sweet cuteness Loveable aspect to the character that it’s so heartwarming, it breaks my heart to see how her husband is cheating her and how her own son disrespects her but then the beauty in getting daughter in laws that love her and I’m confidant will no only support her but empower her to fight for herself..

both daughter in laws are beautiful strong smart girls and I love how anupamaa wants to look to them to better herself, it’s so sweet. But the fact is anupamaa is amazing the way she is and I’m hoping the daughter in laws make her realize that.

This show is charming and while the story is cliche ( let’s not forget sridevis English vinglish) it brings a much needed freshness and hopefully perspective about the clash btw modern and traditional thoughts, how to bridge those gaps, and overall women’s empowerment.

I look forward to watching this everyday - yes, Rupali’s characterization of Anupama is refreshing. Her portrayal of this doting wife/mother and dutiful daughter in law has an innocence and vulnerability to it that makes the viewer bond with Anupama. Looking forward to the daughters in law boosting their mother in law’s confidence and Anupama learning from and teaching her two new daughters to be. Charming show in spite of the heel husband. Even he does a great job. And Kavya as the other woman is not at all hateful.

I agree with you on Rupali's characterization and the way its being shown and played. Like there is charm there...

And also no one is really that evil, sure there is selfishess/ignorancy and cutting edge words from few characters but no one is full on negative, even including Kavya who is the other woman...

The mother and son bonding scenes are the best! Anu and Samar.

I am glad that the two girls (future bahus) will be good, even Kinjal seems it so far (she will learn from anupamaa cos she hasnt from her mother it seems).... Nandini already has symbolism of being the one who will be there when Anupamaa falls and catch her etc from their first meeting, and their shared interest of classical dancing

So true. This show seems like same old typical saas-bahu show. But it is intriguing in it's own way. All because of realistic potrayal of each and every characters by the cast. Love this show ❤️

Rupali Ganguly able to maintain her charm with her marvelous acting even after so many years

She still has capability to run serial on her shoulder

Rupali has played role of negative, comedy in efficient way and now she role of traditional wife , obdient wife in anupama in efficient way too I

I love anupama character because inspiite of being a traditional wife and obdient character shown and not able to raise voice against husband we van see still see another shades of anupama character like doing fun with her son samar some time she put her point too in confident way like apne culture ko kabhi bhoolna nahi chahiye . There is so much variety in anupama character and rupali bring out all types of variation very well

I watch this show because lead positive character anupamaa character has so many varieties and because of good acting too and it reflects poor position of wife who are not financially strong or financially independent in perfect way

I also like to say i don't hate Kavya, which is a surprise, I kinda like her and the actress is doing good. She isnt evil or bad, but in a position where it is wrong and looks wrong. Her character isn't one dimensional like u would think an other woman would be

But i do wonder what exactly has Vanraj said about his marriage life and so on when him and Kavya started this affair etc...

I agree. I think vanraj is biggest culprit in all this misleading 2 women. I think kavya has a heart and is just in love and she is blinded by that love. Even earlier she said she wanted to be friends with anupama and then after the recent moment of her wanting to stop what she was doing because she realized it was wrong .. its mainly vanrajs emotional blackmail that is getting her and i lile that her character has layers and its a little hard to hate her.

I personally think anu and kavya should leave vanraj, supprt eachother and built themsleves up to achieve more and give eachother the life lessons and support the other needs .

totally agree rupali mam acting as anupama is soo real u genuinely feel bad for her in real if u watch today epi the way she didnt able to speak in english in restaurant and how sweetly she ask can she speak in hindi really break ur heart and feel bad for her
