END THIS SERIAL SOON AND START A SPIN-OFF

I really wish CR and the producers realise how jaded the viewers are with this never-ending, hardly-moving serial. They should quickly wrap up the serial and start a brand new spin-off serial focusing on the lives of ACD and Priya. It could be a family drama showing how a police officer struggles to balance work and family, how the wife and family of a police officer are occasionally under threat, how a middle class family tries to put kids through school, how a married couple try to keep romance alive, etc, etc. Already, there are lots of ideas to be picked from Giri's and my fiction, for instance 😉 Some of the other characters from this serial could appear as supporting actors or guest stars, e.g, the RK family, JC, Shankar, ACD's parents. And new characters could include friends and neighbours of Priya, some new criminals, school teachers, perhaps also an attractive, leggy female inspector 😉

However, this spin-off should not run for longer than 6 months. I think that's about as long as viewers can handle viewing the same couple. Oh, and the first month of the spin-off could be shot entirely on some romantic honeymoon location. Oh, OK. I hear people like Caryn groaning. The Priya character could be played by some other actor. But the ACD character can only be played by SS. Hopefully, he will be in casual clothes more often.

Readers, please add your comments if you support this idea. Hopefully, the producers and CR will read this column. Such a spin-off would also allow the bonds fostered among us readers to stay alive; otherwise, we will all go our separate ways after this serial ... 😭

And the guy's wife was in the same room, with a big bulging belly at that, taking out stuff from the fridge and going and getting stuff on the dining table, etc.! Needless to add, the guy got a major earful afterwards.
