Thanks for the brief update, Sharpviggu. I don't think there's a need to laboriously give a blow-by-blow account. But I am just curious about the office politics that Shankar is trying to stir up. Is he still bearing a grudge against ACD and trying to instigate the other police officers against him.

I guess Cheyar needs to use Shankar to give some reason for featuring ACD more often. But there are other ways he can feature ACD. He can make him lament a few more times (as he did when he flung the tv remote and cell phone). And he could make ACD dream of a reunion with Priya. (He made Charu dream, so why not ACD.)

This Shankar guy is getting on my nerves. ACD should have never gone and saved his life. Grrrrr and NO ACD APPEARANCE today. The way it is going, I don't think Cheyyar has any plans of brining back Priya and ACD together. Bon, I think you are asking of too much from CR, ACD dreaming about Priya eh! As long as CR is director I don't think thats ever going to happen.

The only high point (I cant even say high point, the only supposedly hopeful scene) in today's epidose was a possible change of heart for Indhu towards Karthick. If that happens then we are going to have buckets of tears again this time (only this time it will be tears of joy), and may be 50 more wasted episodes. 😭 😭

Thanks for the interesting update, Shylock. Looks like Cheyar may be bringing the Indhu story to a close and starting a new focus on the trials and tribulations of ACD at work.

I hope none of our readers makes frivolous comments again like Cheyar has lost sight of the original plot -- because the original plot, with its focus on the RK family and especially Abhirami, really sucks. And most of us do want to see ACD playing a central role, even if it means straying away from the main plot and even if he still faces roadblocks in solving his cases. But I do hope Cheyar also shows ACD mellowing, becoming more romantic, starting to yearn more for Priya. And Priya yielding slowly.

Yes Bonheur, you are correct, this serial with its focus on the RK family was originally intended to run only for 500 episodes. I think we are well past that 850 mark now (I really dont know how many episodes have gone by - just guessing, any idea?). This is only possible if a serial shifts its focus (in Anandham's case it was for the better - thanks to Saakshi Siva). Some serials lose beacuse of this, but how many of us would still continue to watch if they had continued with the RK family saga. Definitley not me.

haila! no ACD-priya scenes today too? ha.. what did i expect? it'll be a miracle before cheyyar ravi meets my expectations for this stale serial.

btw, thanks for the update shylock.👏 it already sounds like a boring episode, i won't bother watching this one either.

I hope they will end Indu saga soon, its so annoying to see a kid with so much of anger. She should show Abhi left and right before she leaves that house 😆

Shankar saga will begin now I guess, that guy is so irritating with his jealously. 😡 😡

Shylock, I think you are right about 850 - 75 episodes, cause kolangal and anandham begin almost on same time with a month gap.
