What happened to Anandham section?

Hardly any messages coming in today_-I think everyone got too fed up with the lousy way the serial is going!!

Thanks for the update, Porumaiyin Sigaram. I was busy earlier. Yes, it seems like many viewers are defecting from Anandham and that may also be the reason why the Tribute to ACD thread is hardly getting filled. I was hoping regulars like Kams would write just three simple lines.

Anyway, the valaikappu is something to look forward to tomorrow. I wonder whether ACD and Priya will attend. Would be nice if they both did and had some indirect interaction ... Perhaps Priya will attend but ACD is now so intent on the Divya case that he may give the event the miss even though he has been close to Shyam of late.

Madhu, it would be great to have a spinoff serial focusing on ACD-Priya. Wonder whether Cheyar is listening. Through their love and lives he could explore such modern subjects as a father's role in parenting, the tribulations of parents as they put children through school, and of course the usual subjects like women at work and the stresses on family life, marital jealousies, etc. But all that after 100 episodes of a new serial focusing on their reconciliation, engagement, and marriage first.

Agree with you that Shyam is a pain to watch these days, with his sanyasi beard.

Btw, folks, I stumbled across a thread that some of you are probably familiar with. Recalled it when I realised "Dinesh" was brought back into the serial in connection with Divya's murder. It's the thread devoted to contributions from Satish (Dinesh) at

Folks, go to the LondonTamilVideo website and watch episode 185 of Surya for ACD in a hillarious episode. He pretends to be a reformed man to regain his wife's confidence and appears in veshti and layers of viboothi on his swept back forehead. His scene is the second scene in the episode.
