Thanks giri for the update. Btw, Priya was wearing a blue sari and she looked very nice in it! I think you were so upset at the shortness of the scene that you even forgot the color of the sari! In your place, I think I would have done the same.

Shows only one thing - Viduthulai has no clue on how to go on about this serial nor how to conclude this serial. The same happened to Selvi serial, when the director changed everything was ended abruptedly.

It was all Priya's dream. When she wakes up on the morning of her wedding day, she finds the groom missing at the temple.

Groom had heard that a raid was on at Sameer's hideout and he decided he could not miss the chance. So, he runs to the scene, a gun holster tied over his pattu veshti, which is sexily drawn up to the knees. 2 mins of ACD running. Commercial break.

Plenty of suspense music. AP and cops focusing on Sameer and co. Sameer suddenly senses something amiss and starts running. Chase begins. Finally, ACD fires the fatal shot at Sameer. Then, AP packs him off to the temple.

Groom arrives at the temple, panting. Meanwhile, Priya had fainted and Dr Guru Dutt is reviving her. RK and ACD's dad are shedding buckets of tears. Karthik also cries, thinking of his own situation. Charu says hush to RK and Karthik; stop bawling like a baby, she says. Priya wakes up, sees the groom wearing a blood-soaked jubba and faints again. Again, Dr Dutt revives her. Then, the priest says the muhurtham time is nearing and if they miss that, then no wedding for 1 1/2 years. Camera focuses on Priya. Commercial Break ... Bru coffee.

Priya grabs the thali from the priest, runs up to ACD and growls, "tie". The deed is duly done by a beaming ACD. Then, the pattu-clad Eljay, Giri, Roja, Bon, Caryn, and the rest of the IF folks throw confetti and sing "Anandham ...." as they prepare to send off the newly-weds on a honeymoon to .... Kashmir 😃

Guys, just wondering. Could the wedding be someone's dream. I find it hard to believe that the wedding took place without the RK clan or Charu -- unless, of course, there was a tip-off that the wedding could be foiled by Sameer, so it had to be done hastily.

But, yes, the director's sense of proportion is appalling, to say the very least. Surely he would have known that most Anandham fans were watching it for the ACD-Priya story. How could he let them down with a 1 minute wedding scene. That too after showing Shanti and co playing snakes and ladders for 6 needless mins and then occasionally giving us flashbacks of the same scene. Where's the justice?
