Thanks, Giri. I wish for once at least one character will act in his/her own self-interest in this menage a trois. All three are right now donning the roles of thyagis, sacrificing their happiness for one another -- Baggage sacrificed his happiness (and that of Mani's) for Shanthi; Mani wanted to sacrifice her happiness for Shanthi and Shanthi is now making way for Mani.
Looks like Baggage may have finally done the right thing and walked out -- unless Sameer has nabbed him (in which case, I hope Sameer does a good job this time of dispatching him).
Meanwhile, Shanthi, please just walk out on Baggage with your daughter and leave him and Mani to fend for themselves. Mani, for her part, should say that she doesn't want to ever have anything to do with a man who dumped her in the name of making a great sacrifice for a widow. She can move to Delhi with her son; Rocky will still remain varisu of the RK family, wherever on earth he is. (for goodness' sake, Anita and RK, Delhi is only 2 hours away by plane; Mani isn't moving to Timbuktu). Baggage can have visitation rights.
