Did Abhilasha deserve a 9? - Page 3

if she gets voted out, it wud indeed be a loss to the competition ... she was really capable of winning the title ... and yes it did look scripted to me ... but how would anyone gain from this script is still a mystery to me ... by giving her 9 (i feel she shudnt have been given marks at all) lalit/adesh have reduced the chances of sympathy votes, so who is going to gain from this???

I dont think this was scripted... Yes, the first time could have been scripted - when she came to the bottom 4... That could have helped her get more votes... But I dont think they will put her in a tight spot twice in a row - that would infact harm her... The public is very impatient... First time yes, they can sympathise with you... But if that is repeated, they will just start to get irritated very soon... I dont think the channel would want that...

Honestly, Abhilasha really needs to STEP IT UP. I am sorry, but even though her voice quality is great and she is a trained singer, she has not been very impressive ever since the voting started.

The judges praised her to the skies and then were excessively harsh with her. They should have been moderate in both praise and criticism.

As someone else pointed out, the marking has been strategically done on Agni's part as they want to eliminate all of Prithvi's singers.

I also feel that Abhijeet isn't able to give proper training to these contestants. Alka is harsh, but because of her criticism, the contestants do well. Look at Priyani! Barso Re was nearly perfect in terms of technique.

She didn't deserve a 9. However points aren't really that important now with public voting. It is as much a popularity contest now, not just a singing contest.

But Aadesh-Lalit did a really smart thing. They didn't let her sing again, and averted the unfair advantage to Abhilasha. But by giving her 9, they boosted her morale, while also demonstrating magnanimous behavior on their part. In fact, a low score (4-5 IMHO is what she deserved) might have created a heavier backlash/outrage support of votes for Abhilasha. They have avoided that. They have left the public with the following impression: Abhilasha is a young singer with good potential, but she makes many mistakes because she is inexperienced!! Not ready to be VOI!!

The 9 was indeed a very cunning and uncalled for move from the the Agni team!! They did not want the sympathy advantage to pass on to Abhilasha.. They know the danger she can pose and hence want her to go by hook or crook...

I also dont understand why she gets to sing the most impressive songs ever.. Priyani and Sumitra typically walk away with the icing on the cake... Is it because they have higher vote banks for all sorts of reasons! Perhaps!!

she should go out of the show she is nut it was better if she was out instead of ashmeet
