it was a very average epi... singing wasnt that gr8 but they kept insisting that they r maintaining their standards - i didnt feel so... it was way below the mark... but am sure they wud get better with time...

Well you cannot compare the formats, because the shows are different. Here the judges are just that - judges. They don't have any incentive for going and picking the contestants themselves. They just listen and judge the ones who have already been picked. Whereas in C2007 it's a gharana system, where the mentors themselves go to a region and pick their own shishyas. Once they've done that, they don't have to bring them in front of other mentors to approve or reject.

hey Shady, I have never compared this format and that format - I just said this can be a better format.. See now in Indian Idol - all contestants are taken to the judges and judges tend to get irritated.. So, now when they choose some singers already and bring in, it becomes much easier for them to choose.. thats all is my point

Can someone be really neutral and tell me which singers seem to be better - Star or Zee?
